Have always loved this place. Got the Hummus sandwich and Spanish latte. Spanish latte is a must try. They honor artists by displaying Great art work. The vibes are derived from the Berkeley college nearby. Winters are just perfect in this coffehouse

This coffee shop leaves more to be desired. My main issue with this place was that I walked 30 minutes in blistering cold weather to come to this specific location because it said eating/drinking on site was available in Google Maps. When I got there I was amazed to see they had pushed aside all the chairs and had no seating. Listen, I get why you did it and not everyone would be as bummed as I for walking 30 mins for a location where I can read and sip coffee, but please update your site. The coffee lids are also very annoying. They don’t stay pressed up when you open it so you feel like you’re going to spill your coffee. The coffee with almond milk was very good and the bagel and lox was the best I’ve had in 6 months, but the stars aligned and I’m giving you guys a low rating for visibility.

The Hummus Sandwich was great, with hummus, tomato, capers, vegan cashew cheese on a Rosemary salt bagel, which was the exact perfect amount of saltiness, like amazing focaccia. The SB&J on cinnamon raisin was definitely a bit overpriced for the portion, but the spreads were super good and rich, and when paired with the vegan coconut cookie, it was a great fruity, sweet combo.

Terrible customer service. Ordered through their website then waited for 40 minutes for the order to set as “ready for pickup”. Waited another 20 minutes after that until I asked them to check on the order and they couldn’t find it. After the order was made I said that they shouldn’t send a “ready for pickup” text unless it actually is. Their response was that it happens automatically. I suggested getting a different app service. The response was “that’s above my pay grade”. I received no apology at any point and was just told “it is busy on Sundays”. This sandwich better change my life.

Im so lucky that I was able to try it and it was nice because everything here is really amazing and relaxing. No doubt that this coffee shop is well-known because its coffee and pastries are the best here. Also, the service is exceptional, and I like to commend these guys for that. Truly amazing! Thanks, guys!

Great coffee and great food. But they never have coffee brewed? I come here often and I am always left to “wait for another 5 minutes for the pot to finish brewing”. It usually ends up being longer than 5 minutes too. It’s not a huge deal, just an inconvenience and feels like something really easy for a coffee shop to always have coffee brewed? I normally don’t write reviews but figured I’d take the 5 minutes that I’m stuck waiting for my cup to be brewed to write a review.

Very friendly staff, a good variety of coffee drinks, and great food! This little coffee shop is a great place to take a break from shopping, have a bite to eat, and perhaps relax with some journaling or to work. There’s free WiFi and outlets next to several tables. You’re encouraged to share tables, thought, as it can get a bit crowded at peak times.

Coffee and bagels were average; nothing special. Service was quick on a Tuesday around 9. My family of 10 all got breakfast here today and we were not allowed to use the restroom. Ridiculous. I understand the Mass. dining orders but no restroom is ridiculous for a food establishment. Employees were unapologetic.

Breakfast Sandwich Review OnlyNot a coffee drinker, or really a hot drink drinker, so this is a review of the breakfast sandwiches only. This place is tiny and probably only has 20ish seats so if you want a place to study/linger, plan to get there early or be prepared to wait for a table.Had the lox and cream cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and I scarfed that thing down. Wish I had two more. Very dense bagel and the lox and cream cheese were in the perfect ratio. Will definitely be back for the breakfast sandwiches

Very disappointed by how rude the young guy with purple painted nails was in pavement today. Ordered a sandwich, I commented on the price being higher than I thought, but was fine with it. He canceled my order without saying anything at all and then asked me to leave if I wasnt going to order anything. I was kind of shocked and confused because I had literally just ordered something. I come in here a lot and always tip. Will not be tipping going forward because the girl who made my sandwich threw it on the counter aggressively too. This was Friday, December 18th at 220 pm. Note that because of the snow storm there were no other customers and I felt like I was an annoyance to them. Very unprofessional.

Im a vegan and I absolutely love coming here because A. THE COFFEE IS FABULOUS. Just a basic lattee is smooth and creamy and made with oat milk for the vegan substitution. B. THEIR VEGAN MUFFINS AND PB COOKIES are to die for! Great alternatives for the norm when wanting a little sweet treat. C. THEIR ITALIAN SEITAN SANDWICH IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Whenever Im in the mood for lunch, I always come here for their vegan sandwich. The best part is that I havent tried all of their vegan menu options so there is still more to try. So exciting!!!

Found this sweet cafe while on vacation. If I lived in the area I would go there regularly. The food and coffee were both delicious and fancy enouch to take pictures of (which, like a true tourist, I did for the coffee as you can see) but not super expensive and they have menu options for both vegetarians and carnivores so you can bring a meatatarian friend without going hungry or having to convert them to the green side before you can eat. I thought the table we sat at was hilarious so I took a picture of it too. Enjoy

Tiny coffee shop tucked below street level on Newbury St. Enter by going down the surface stairs and behind the upper staircase. Service was quick and friendly. Got a 12oz cup of coffee, which with a small tip was around $3.10 which seemed reasonable for Boston. Not a ton of seating, but what they had was conducive to 2-3 people conversing. The coffee itself was fresh and the server paid attention to the freshness timer before pouring me a cup. Not too bitter, and gentler on the stomach than I expect from strong coffee which was nice. Would go back.

Coffee is solid, but not remarkable. Better cold brew than Starbucks or other chain joints but about on par with almost smaller coffee shops. Bagels are very blah and overpriced for what they are.
