I can never leave here not frustrated.Things I need are not in stock. People who are supposed to help dont know what theyre talking about. The one person who is knowledgeable is helping 3 other people ahead of me and Im just trying to get 2 small items during my lunch break.

Fantastic place for everything, they also rent, carpet cleaning machine, weedwackers, a ton of stuff, the have everything for your home and yards. And the staff ate so polite and professional, they have the patience of a Saint there. I saw some rude customers and it didnt faze or slow down them down one moment.

Just recently bought a new bed with a platform bed frame. The frame was rated at being able to support 800 pounds. However when I opened the box to assemble the bed frame, I noticed the slats were less than one half inch thick. If I bent the slats over my knee I could probably bring them to a snapping point. I put the bed together anyway and when I sat on the mattress, I could hear the slats tearing as if they were going to snap! They could not handle my 300 pound plus frame. So I didnt waste any time disassembling the slats. I didnt want to return the frame because I would have to pay for shipping. So I thought maybe theres a way I could make the slats stronger.The first place that came to my mind was Home Depot. I just knew they had something in stock that I could use to fix my problem. I went directly to the lumber department where I saw a tall gentleman who worked for Home depot cutting wood. I immediately thought I could have him cut me some new slats made of thicker wood. So I asked him if he would do that for me if I had the proper measurements, and he was glad to not only do it, but he took me to the isle where the 10 and 12 foot pieces of wood were and helped me pick out the right wood!I went home, took measurements and went back the next day, and I even brought a slat with me for security.As soon as I arrived at the lumber department, there he was as if he stayed there all night waiting for me to return. He was more than happy to help me figure out how many slats I need because the new slats were not only thicker but wider, so I would not need as many. To make this long story short(as if), I got home and the slats worked perfectly; and now I sleep like a baby! ThanQ Home Depot, and especially the tall guy from the lumber department.

Oh Home Depot. I spend so much of my life in this Quincy II store. I know the layout by heart. AND YET! When I need a specific item in store, it is nearly impossible to find. What’s so hard is that the associates don’t know how to help you oftentimes, even though it’s so easy to look up online if the store has the item in stock and exactly what aisle and bin it is in. But there is NO cell service in HD. So I rely on the associates for that, but they are hard to find and don’t always know how to look things up. TWICE I have left the store and gone outside to get service and found the item IN STOCK in the store where they had told me only minutes before that they “don’t have it.” Then I go back into the store and the item is always right where it says it will be online. But the process is highly aggravating to say the least. You don’t always know what you’re buying beforehand so it’s not always possible to look it up beforehand. For that, I need HD’s help! Just please be better at helping ! I waste so much time on this store it’s nuts !!!

A woman donated this cooler so we can stock up on ice popsicles drinks for the homeless of Boston who have been left size of City two died on the pavement. Right now there is a line stretching around the block just to get inside and get warm for 15 minutes before being pushed back out onto the street.

My boyfriend and i went here to get keys copied and only had a few selections in the key machine. Then i went to the gardening section to look for blueberry seeds, loads of different seeds but no blueberry seeds at all so super upset. The security guard was the nicest and hes not even a staff a member. We werent even told that where we directed to check out that it only took card, we put cash in and had to wait for someone to come get the cash to give it back to us.

This store is a bit cluttered. It feels like they shoved as much Christmas stuff into the aisles as the fire marshall would let them, even if 8t has nothing to do with tools 8r home improvement.As ia typical of my experience at The Home Depot, finding an orange apron is pretty difficult.

If you are looking for or doing a Home Improvement project this is the store you want to go to. They have everything you need. There are also good employees that will help or give you suggestions for your project. I am thankful that there is one in my neighborhood.

Very disappointed........went there to cut 2 purchased blinds, I told 4 or 5 stuff members that I need some help, they made the announcement a few times, but no one showed up. Well, more than an hour later, the same guy I spoke to earlier cut the blinds. Never going there again.

I’m in a Home Depot nearly daily, this store tends to be the least well organized. It can be a struggle to find items that are low stocked, I would recommend going to Home Depot on Willard St in Quincy if you need good help.

A gentleman behind me in the self help line offered to share his cart with me as I was holding a large bottle of soap along with other stuff. One of the cashiers came over to help me when she saw I was having some difficulty using the check out computer. Her help was greatly appreciated.

I got there to order commercial washer dryer and this was my third set and got all three of them with the same price but when one set comes it came without a chord and when I came in and ask the manager he said I have to pay extra even if I show him all my orders and the other two without problem. He is just a pain doesn’t want to help at all he says doesn’t come with it that’s it !!!! After spending more than an hour. And the delivery people are very rude and unprofessional at all

I do my best not to go to the South bay Home depot. the employees spend time speaking with other employees, not asking costumers do they need assistance. the bathroom has to be the worst of all the home depots Ive shopped at. this Home Depot is the worst. when time permits I travel to the Quincy HD in Quincy, if they see you carrying a few products they always ask if I need a shopping cart. the bathroom is ALWAYS clean, it makes a difference.South bay HD needs to GREATLY improved their customer service.

I placed a curbside pick up order. Never heard back about my order status. I ended up calling to inquire about it. They told me to park in a curbside pickup parking spot and they would bring it out.Long story short: after 35 minutes in a curbside parking spot, I had to go into the store to ask for my order. The cashier, who was lovely, said it was never pulled and she ended up getting it for me.Bottom line is don’t have curbside pickup if you don’t know how to use it; just make the service unavailable.

One of the more chaotic Home Depots. Id avoid this one if youre able to visit another nearby location. I usually frequent Home Depot in Watertown, but drove to South Bay due to something being in stock there. I found South Bay to be way busier than Watertown and far more disorganized and harder to find staff to assist, etc.This Home depot is extremely convenient to 93 (South Bay is literally on 93) with tons of parking so if youre in the city it might make more sense to just put up with the craziness of this location if you dont want to venture farther outside the city.

If you can go to any other Home Depot or hardware store, I would recommend it. I have lived in the area for 8 years and have never had a single good shopping experience here. Do not try curbside or online order pickup either. Faster to go inside yourself somehow.

The item that id saw online stated the home depot in south bay had it but not true😑youd have to order it and have it delivered to home depot😡!I wanted to purchase it and take it home now not in 3days or next week! We have ordered retaining wall blocks for delivery from This branch of Home Depot. They have rescheduled the delivery 5 times in 4 weeks and they still haven’t delivered. We waited at home for delivery all those days only to get it rescheduled a week after without any communication from this store. After 5 attempts, we lost hope that these will be delivered and want to cancel the order, but no that is also not possible. They say system doesn’t let them cancel and we need to talk to their manager whom we can not reach. This has been a horrible experience and never ordering anything from Home Depot. I would give them ZERO stars if I could.

This is not a review of this particular store but this is a review for Home Depot as a whole and this is the closest store to my address...I ordered a hot water heater prior to 11 am needing a new hot water heater replaced the same day. After ordering and speaking with their contracted 1-800 heaters, I never received a call from the plumber to set up a time to replace it. After 2:00 I realized it wasnt an immediate emergence but still needed my 15 year old heater replaced. I finally had to call the plumber to set up an appointment. He told me he couldnt get to me for 2 days. I call 2 days later he says he cant get to me that day and to call back but to give him a couple days heads up. Fast forward 2 weeks and I call him again. Hes rude to me, says he thought we figured it all out and that now he needs a new work order for the hot water heater. Ron says he could probably come on Wednesday and he would call me on Christmas Eve to confirm. He never called. I called 1-800 Heaters 4 times and never got through to get a new work order. I finally called a local plumber and got a new hot water heater within 2 hours of my call. Very disappointed with my experience with Home Depot and affiliated 1-800 Heaters
