Suddenlink technician came to fix my next door neighbors internet. Left after fixing it, but in the process cut off my internet, phone and cable. Call Suddenlink and was told it would be nearly 24 hours before they could fix the error of their own making. Been a customer since the 80s. Will no longer be one before 2022. They screw up, and I got screwed. See ya!

I wish I could leave zero stars. My wife and I are in the process of moving. We requested 4 days in advance to have our service moved. It was scheduled for today 7/30/21 between 2 and 5 pm. We got here at 1:45 and waited all afternoon after waiting a while we opened the door and noticed a note on the door saying he was here at 4:17pm and no one was home. Even though he never knocked or rang the doorbell. One if my neighbors even witnessed him walk up put the note on the door and take off. We called Suddenlink and they promised us someone would be here by 8pm to set up service. No one showed up by 8 and we have been on hold trying to talk to someone for 1 br and 40 minutes. No one will answer the phone. This has to be the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced. We put our move on hold to wait for these people and they dont show up and refuse to answer the phone.

My mother is 91 years old. She cant hear and gets very upset when she has to respond to a salesman or representative. She asked me to handle this or her but the rep wouldnt do it without her being with me. I had her number transferred to AT&T but Im still getting a bill from Suddenlink. I was able to transfer the number on line but cant do a cancellation and was not told I would get a bill when Suddenlink is not even working.

I, too, would rate lower and on the negative side. This is my second experience with Suddenlink, and 4th technician in 8 days. The tech yesterday, just left! My internet and cable tv still not working! And for what I pay, I could have joined Bezos on his spaceship! And, why can I not speak to someone on the phone, in America???I will be contacting the FCC, FTC and anyone who will listen!! I spend 6-7 hours a day jacking with this!Funny how Suddenlink, Altice, whomever, responds to contact them. Ha!

Internet is choppy at best if you have your own high end modem and router, if you rent their equipment, you won’t even have a reliable enough connection to do anything. Don’t even think about any type of gaming, complete trash!!!

I would like to say they give great service but unfortunately Im now to far from the pole , I used to have service years ago but now their equipment is not as strong as it used to be.They also use a very sorry install company because the the installer looks for reasons not to hook up the cable but one day I hope they can fix this problem because in the past I have great service and support.

The very worst Cable TV service I have ever experienced. When we moved to Bossier, I signed up for their service and it included a $200 VISA gift card. So far, after almost 6 months in Bossier. We have yet to see a gift card of any amount. Service has deterioted. Internet speeds have been cut back. Picture and sound interrupted for 3 to 5 secobds. Can not buy service in Bossier from Comcast. Would never reco.mend Suddenlink to anyone for any of their services.

My cable box went out a few weeks ago. I disconnected it and took it to the office on Benton Rd. Exchanged it for another. When it stopped working, I called customer service, and never got connected to a real person. Supposedly, the bot I was speaking with reauthorized my box to receive the signal but it never came back on. The woman asked me this when I returned the box a 2nd time. I told her what happened. She offered to sell me a $6 per month maintenance contract to pay for any future visits, otherwise I would have to pay $60 for a cable tech to come to my house. I told her I just needed a box that worked. I put the box out of the bedroom on the TV in question and it worked fine. She gave me another box that worked a few hours just like the other one and I get an error message on the screen. I guess she wants me to have a technician come over. I have disconnected the box and have not had cable in the bedroom since I hooked it back up to test it on that TV. (because I have to move the furniture in the den where the box was originally and disconnect it from the stereo system). I have been with this company since I moved here in 1992. I have a cable bill that is over $240 a month and still, I have never received anything other than a higher bill. I told the lady I did not want to sit at home and wait on a tech to come over. She seemed unfazed. I have always had good service from this company until now. I dont understand what has happened but it is clear that this person wants me to have multiple episodes of this problem! She told me that someone had taken the box off my account. I asked why, she just shook her head. I guess the box has not been added on again. I am very disgusted with the entire thing that has been going on for weeks now.

I recently moved in a guest home, we we’re without service for four days, very frustrating. A lot of people slept with their tv on.Pleas explain why our service was off so long. We were told on Friday our tech found the problem on Friday he went out of town with the only key to the room that had our modems in there. Not acceptable. This was for service at Colonial Oaks Guest Home. Hopefully our bill is being adjusted.

If I had any option I would take it. But they know this which is why they have less than willing or capable employees. Noone has been any help. From the first phone call until now.

The store and associates are nice. Id definitely recommend coming in if you need something. I just wish each department would work together. Swapped out a modem that didnt work only to be told today (after more than a year of insisting I needed two modems) that I should only be using one and I cannot just add a modem to increase my speed - I have the fastest service they have.

I had Suddenlink for two years. My internet was constantly out 12-14 hours a day every day, no exaggeration. They gave a circular argument each time I called, which was 2-3 times a week. Check equipment, send technician, no internet. Went through that over and over. Finally one representative said, oh well sorry, weve done everything we could.We finally moved and have another isp which is far superior. To add insult to injury Suddenlink is trying to charge me for equipment. They told me when I settled my account that they didnt need the equipment returned, good thing I saved it.Please go out of business Suddenlink and stop torturing us.***As you can see the reply below asking me to be specific and send an email. I was very specific in the review about having no internet and not being able to get anywhere with the Suddenlink customer service. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with them. Suddenlink is beyond fixing IMHO.***

Tried to get service last November (Its March 21 now). Service rep came out to evaluate if I could get fiber--great! I can! Whelp, no fiber in warehouse. Would let me know when available. Never received a phone call, called in January. Phone rep said another tech would have to be sent out to verify if I could get service. Tried to explain that this was already done--no way to get around it. Said a tech would evaluate and I would get a phone call. Once again, no phone call. Called a few weeks later--no update. Called a few weeks later, no update. Called again today, no update, but said I (me, myself) would have to pay out of pocket for construction fees, whatever that is. Was given a number to call to get details and the number didnt connect me to anyone. Was like the number you call to reset your voicemail on your own phone. What the heck, Suddenlink? Get your (you know what) together. This is terrible customer service. Asking for a refund on my original $250 deposit and am glad Im not getting service. If this is any indication of customer support, count me out. Terrible. Atrocious.

Im a little skeptical to give this ISP even 3 stars. The staff is friendly, but maybe a bit ignorant as to what services and equipment they provide. Basically, I feel if you offer a service to an area, the equipment THEY provide (rental modems and routers) should be able to give me those speeds I am paying for.The main reason I didnt just slap a 1 star or maybe 2 was because Suddenlink went above and beyond my expectations post-quarantine; they took a loss and ate the entire amount of my late bill and allowed me and other customers to start fresh.On the other side of that, their customer support is lackadaisical and/or they just dont know how to do their job. I asked for 6 months in a row to be put on paper billing. On the 5th month I even went in to the local office. Each month I was told it was fixed. It wasnt until my latest visit that I was given a receipt to show that paper billing was indeed added to my bill ($1 per month).

I called after 2 years to cancel service since Im moving to another state at the end of the month.Theyre charging me a full billing cycle even though I wont be living in my apartment after the 31st.When I did have the internet it was shoddy and went out in the Ruston area. And you have to drop off the equipment so you wont be charged? Thats lame. The company is lame. If you dont have to deal with them, then dont.

I have had sudden-link for like 2 years now and it would go out every so often but then it would be fine for 6 months. But the last 7 months it has been the worst wifi ever we pay for unlimited 1000 mb and it goes out almost every day and it says your connected and you cant do anything at all. You cant even download something.

Suddenlink has the absolute WORST customer service imaginable. Sure they are friendly folks somewhere in a country overseas, but their friendliness accomplishes nothing. We have been trying to simply set up tv and internet and we are 0 for 5 for Technician visits. (The technicians never show up in the alotted window either.). Unfortunately there aren’t any other ok alternatives in Bossier, so they Suddenlink can continue to provide poor service.

We had a appointment for a technician to come hook up cable and internet from 8am-11am. The technician literally came and sat in our driveway, never called, knocked ,nothing. We watched him the whole time. As soon as my husband walked outside, he backed up and sped off. Sat at the stop sign for 10 minutes, and when my husband went to get him,he sped off and left. Stayed on the phone forever,3 different times after this incident on the phone trying to get a appointment scheduled, which nobody showed up once again. Three diffrent appointments were made and not one technician showed up. Extremely poor customer service and extremely unprofessional. Their technicians are extremely unprofessional and always late or never show up. They literally dont even have the common curiosity to call ,email, text, nothing to let someone know they wont be showing up,up, that they even rescheduled. Its totally inconvenient and unprofessional.

My mom is a senior citizen and has had sudden link for years. They went up on her bill without her knowledge and then told her they contacted her by email.... THEY DID NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS ON FILE! They lied about the credit she was supposed to have on her next statement.. The sent her a bill for more than $200.00. Sudden Link should be ashamed for trying to get over on an elderly lady. Would have given zero stars.. But wouldnt let me post.

The service tech came out exclusively to change the router box. As soon as he came to the door he had a bad attitude and started making excuses as to why nothing was wrong with the service. We showed him on multiple devices that it was not achieving the speeds that we are paying for. He did not seem concerned and made multiple excuses including that my doorbell may be slowing the system down. We disproved that theory by disconnecting the doorbell, and we still got slow speeds. I asked for a new box since we had proven to him that it was transmitting much slower speeds, yet he refused to do it. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life. You would think that he had to pay for the boxes out of his own pocket. I’m not sure how this works and if that’s actually the case but, now I see why Suddenlink’s customer service is rated one of the worst in the country by consumer reports.

Technicians who install service are great. Thats about it. Dont expect to get anywhere close to internet speeds you are paying for. We paid for 1GB service and at best saw about 200mbps speeds. They also charged us for 9 months of equipment rental for a modem-router combo when we had been using our own, totaling $90. They could only refund us $36 over two billing cycles, a total of $72. We just went to cancel service on the closing date of our house and the retention employee was rude and disrespectful on the phone. Would not allow us to speak to a superior after he was rude and disrespectful. This was our third time with suddenlink and matches the previous two experiences. Prior service they changed policy on our internet service without notifying us. We were paying for 200mbps/20mpbs unlimited data. Our bill one month suddenly had two charges for going over our data usage, which was unlimited(?). Log into the account and it shows they removed our unlimited data we signed up for. They removed the charges, we canceled service with them and went to AT&T. Unfortunately they are one of the few options in the area but avoid them if you can.

2 Months ago my Suddenlink services were disconnected due to a 1200 balance. I paid $700 of that balance and was told by a representative that I would get a credit for the winter storm like my aunt who stayed next door did. I never got that credit. Then I called and spoke with a woman in cancelation and she told me in order to get my internet bill down where I could keep internet since I worked from home that she would send me an internet device with unlimited internet. I gave her my card number for $110.00 for the device. The device never came and Suddenlink had no record of the conversation but I was sure to record it. My bill raised to $905 and I was told by numerous representatives that Suddenlink does not do payment plans and then I got 1 representative who told me that they did but could not give me one. I gave my entire paycheck to this company just for them to ask me for almost $1000. I spoke to a guy named Alex yesterday who turned my services back on and then transferred me to a “Promise to pay” module which turned out to be just the main menu that I had came from. I am sick of this company’s lies! I was on a plan for $84.99 but I was paying over $176.00 each month so I never got the deal that was promised to me. I was even told by one of their own representatives that they lie about their promotions then over charge you and to never take anything but the 400mb plan no matter how much they try to sell you. I regret getting with this company because they never want to work with you, ever. However, this company is the only company I can get in my area and I am going to petition the city to provide more companies with the ability to provide us with internet services so that Suddenlink is not our only hope because they are good for nothing.

Last month I called to see if I could get a lower rate on my monthly bill as I only get internet and $105.00 seemed ridiculously high. I was told there was a rate where I could get 1 Gig from 400mb speed and get it for $89.00 I said done. He scheduled a tech to make the changes. Technicians were great... they even checked and resolved my internet going out 3-5 times a day. But, then I got my bill this month. There was no change in price. I called before I paid to get it resolved. Was told that it had been escalated and that someone would get back to me. It has been a week now so I called to speak to an agent again. This time I was told that they could change me and give me a better rate. The rate that they wanted to give me was $25 higher than what I have been praying and complained about. I said “no ma’am, I would like the rate that was promised me“. She then tells me well it’s not possible we can give you the 400 MB speed and drop it by more. I again respond “no I would like the one gig speed and the price that was promised to me“. I had to ask for times before my call would be escalated to a supervisor. I am now waiting 2 to 4 hours for that supervisor to call me back. I do not have high hopes that I will get that phone call. Oh it’s also worth mentioning Suddenlink is the only Internet provider available to me where I live.

I just started service with this poor excuse for a company. Technician did a no call no show on 2 appointments and when I called in I got hung up on, couldn’t speak to anyone who spoke proper English and ended up having to set a third appointment. Asked for a manager magically they were all off today. I would give them 5 negative stars and I pray they go bankrupt this year. The only thing they are good for is mailing statements and I received one in less than 3 weeks and that’s the length of time I’ve had partial service. Go dish or at&t I’m only here because my apartments pay for basic cable so my premium channels I watch is only 50 bucks a month. Poor quality of service, customer service sucks, and I’m emailing and bashing them on every outlet I can.

If you see anything higher than 1-star I guarantee it’s an employee leaving the review. This is my first and only 1-star review because I can usually find something good.There is literally nothing positive about this company or it’s products. The internet is slow and unreliable coupled with looong unexpected outages. The cable channels are jumbled in a weird order that makes browsing cumbersome. The DVR doesn’t work. There is zero training on the features from the installers. The remotes are even 1990s technology.The CEO of this company should be ashamed,,, and then fired.

Another bad review due to a technician. If they install for you, watch like a hawk. They obviously will drop a line through the ceiling instead of running a new line to a proper plate in the wall. Then they’ll claim they don’t represent suddenlink as they are independent contractors. Doesn’t have a supervisor, doesn’t have anyone I can speak with regarding his poor customer service or install. Makes rude gestures upon questioning and instead of owning up that they are lazy, tells me to “just let me do my job”. Very unhappy, easily preventable.

Which is usually what they do for people who are moving, but I’m not moving anywhere. Tech came, didn’t do anything. And I’ve been transferred numerous times today. Horrible service all around. This place recieves one Star. Because Google wont allow negative stars. They have hidden fees, lapse in connections, treat you like a lepper at the front door. They give different answers every time you call about a simple issue, they also give misleading information to coax customers to upgrade. We canceled our service, paid the final bill a month ago and just got charged 60$ for a cable box we haven’t had since February 2nd. An absolute scam of a company.

So- the neighbors are having a shop built and the contractor hit their fiber optic internet line. They came out yesterday to fix it. They fixed the neighbors, but in the process, disconnected my internet (we all share a box/post). Now they are saying Monday before someone can come out!!!! Suddenlink Communications are you going to reimburse me for lost wages due to a mistake made by your contractor? I shouldn’t have to wait and lose money working because of your mistake!!!!!!! Everyone please share the mess out of this!!!! I tried to ask the lady at the desk this question this morning. She would not contact the person who came out yesterday and disconnected me. All she said she could do was note the account.

I have been trying to get over $200 payment they deducted from my bank account for over a month. I had a credit balance with them and they still deducted a payment after telling me that it wouldn’t deduct. I have talked to 9 different people and still no results. Plus they sent me another bill and they still have over $200 of my money.

We are military and have used many, many different service providers. Sudden link is easily the Worst. The company would lose service for DAYS AT A TIME, and still charge you for the those days. Military moves in the middle of a billing cycle, but sudden link WILL NOT PRORATE. So, not only is the service outage frequent and long lasting, but you will be expected to pay for the entire month, even if you only use 1 day of that month. Yes, even for military. You have options in Shreveport, let this be your last option. If you live on base, its best to go with ATT. If you live off base, I recommend XFinity.

Horrible. I moved out of my apartment on 07/06/2020 and could not get a hold of anyone for the longest time. I went ahead and sent the equipment back on 07/09/2020, but was not able to get past the automated system until 07/15/2020. I was assured that my service was cancelled effective 07/06/2020 and that no balance was due on the account, even though the bill for the 07/11-08/10/2020 had already come out. I was told that this would be reversed and nothing would be due. I received a letter from a collection agency today for the service period that I did not even use and was assured I would not owe for! I called SuddenLink to determine why I was being charged, and they insisted that I did not cancel the service until 08/10, but would put a note on my account. What does that even do/mean? I then went online and started a chat and they could see that I called to cancel the service, and it was put in on 07/15/2020, and could not tell where the balance was coming from? They see that I cancelled the service as of 07/07/2020 and that the equipment was returned. There was no previous balance due. I am incredibly frustrated with SuddenLink right now. They do not care about their customers and will just bill you or take your money for no reason.

Not the experience I should expect. My cost for internet went up 40% in two years, from around $55.00/ month, to $79. 47, including an Enhancement Fee of $3.50. My service has Never Been Enhanced, infact it is intermittent, and mostly not reliable when I want to use it. Ive talked to two Suddenlink representatives with fast talking foreign accents which sound like they are in East Egypt. They only gave me double talk, claiming technicians were working on the lines, but could not tell me when they started working, what they were doing, or when they would be finished. I used to be able to talk to customer service agents in Tyler Texas, now its reduced to this.I was not satisfied, so I went to the local office in Bossier City Louisiana. I found out from the manager, who lives in my area, that Nobody is Working on any lines or enhancements near me, and that I should sign up for an additional fee which will cover technical problems if found in my home. My opinion is that I have already been paying for additional fees, and the 40% increase. I do not feel as though I am receiving the great service that I used to get, but less service at more cost.Suddenlink shouldnt tell me to go to their Twitter, or Facebook site to further explain the difficulty I have had with their service. They know how to contact me if they cared about how they can improve service.

I have been having service issues since September. they even tried to bill me for a service call i was told i didnt have to be present for. Was told more than once there would be a bucket truck sent to our area. found out that was a lie. the C/S, and Tech support are all jokes. I have had everything in the house including the line running to the tap outside replaced and still have issues. 66% Packet loss and am being told everything is ok. Twice now i have had a tech not show up. Unfortunately they are the only provider in my area and i can not go with out internet due to one of my jobs. I was told my bill would be a certain amount every month but when I got my first bill it was over $200. Then they auto deducted from my bank account twice without my permission. Then I was charged for TiVo and Altese cable package, how do you charge someone for 2 different cable systems on one tv. They still refused to reimburse me. Someone had to come out to my house five times before my cable would even work and I still got charged for the whole month. Now I only have the WiFi with them and it’s like my bill is still over charged. I wish I had of read these reviews before I signed up with Suddenlink. I see where they reach out to people under these reviews to look as if they really care or like they plan on resolving the problem. I wish I could get AT&T in this area.

Reporting to the BBB, they have been throttling my grandparents internet connection and its not right. They pay for over 100mbs download and only get 1mbs download most times. Its comical and SAD. The fact they have a monopoly has to end, we need a lousianan to make a ISP here. Suddenlink is garbage, and will remain that way. They contract out the worst employees too. Many smoke and are overweight which shows how much they care about themselves.

Each time I have to go into the Bossier Suddenlink office, I always get the same woman who is to the right when you come in the door. She is always extremely rude. Today I didnt even get in the front door and I was greeted with what do you want. I have had an acct with Suddenlink for 30plus years with very few issues. After my interaction with her today, I just want to cancel my services. I have been in the service industry for over 40 yrs and if any of my employees treated guests this way they would be gone. There is no need for this kind of rudeness!!!

I have had plenty of negative experiences with Suddenlink when I lived in Ruston, LA, but since I moved to Bossier, it has been much better. I have not experienced more than an outage or two, and even then the internet was only out for an hour or so. Much better than the typical 8-10 hour outages common in Ruston. The representatives I have talked with on the phone have been very patient and understanding, as well as very helpful.The only complaint I have with the service in Bossier is with the time slots they give you for a service visit. Theyll give you a 2-3 hour window for when a service employee will arrive, and then they still dont show up for another 2-3 hours after that. Very frustrating when you have things to do and cant be home all day.Apart from that, the speeds/reliability have been good, staff has been very helpful and kind, and the prices (before they jack them up after the first year) havent been too bad.Just buy your own equipment, you will save SO much money in the long run.

After having Suddenlink internet service for 18 days the modem they provided died. After spending 2 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone I was told that a technician would not be available to come out and replace or for 3 days. If any other service provider is available use them instead even if it involves tin cans, string, and coconut laden swallows.

I just had moved to a different address with this company service, internet+tv+phone. everything is working except the phone and it has been a week now. tried calling their main line, I had to stay on the phone for an hour and still not getting any agent. at the same time, had the chat support, but also for an hour not getting any agent to chat with.The phone works now after an email. This cable service is horrible. Moved to haughton the end of July and set up new service the 1st week in August. Living room and 3 bedrooms. The only service that worked was the Altice box in the living room the other 3 rooms didn’t work. The worker wasn’t even going to tell me that the other tvs didn’t work until asked. He stated he put a ticket in but here I am 3 months later and they’ve sent 7 cable guys out and I still don’t have cable. Not to mention they bill me monthly and expect to get paid on time. When asked about discounting my bill they stated it has to be fixed and completely working before they can give me a credit. They charged me $60 for missing a visit that I never missed. They came out for a Saturday visit and again could fix the cable and said they were coming the next day which was a Sunday and never showed up. They came Monday while I was at work and charged me for the visit but when I took off when of the many times and they didn’t show up nothing was done. I’ve taken off work 7 times and no refund for me or cable. I went into the local office twice and still no help. I went last week and the supervisor was suppose to call me and didn’t. I’m so disappointed in this company and the fact that they get away with treating customers this way. I’ve been a customer for 4 years. I’m reporting them to BBB.

Unethical advertising. I signed up for their core cable and 1 gig internet package advertised for 64.99. After accepting the mandatory equipment fees, the price went up to 84.99. After installation the actual first bill posted at over 110 bucks with all the additional fees. Not to mention, the speed test barely got to 1/4 of the advertised speed using their supplied hardware at minimum usage times. If you have other options, I’d recommend not doing business with this company.

I’ve been without internet for 3 weeks. I have tried calling and doing the “call back” thing, only to no have phone calls returned. I’ve tried online chat. No help there either. For what I’m paying, I expect to be able to get a modem activated in a reasonable time frame. Absolutely ridiculous. Hire people who know what they’re doing.

If I could post a picture I would. I pay for 1gig service and have for over a year now. Fastest speed Ive gotten is 650 mbps and that was a year ago ever since its slowly gotten slower and slower. now tonight I cant even watch Netflix ran a speed test and guess what only 0.72 mbps download. Im patiently waiting for the day ATT offers high speed internet cause Im gone I will never ever recommend suddenlink to anyone its a complete rip off they dont deliver the speeds they advertise and the only thing theyre consistent about is being inconsistent.

First off I am a new customer and I already have problems with this company the customer rep kept interrupting me when I was trying to tell her fhe reason I needed to reschedule the appointment then I could barely understand her! The Technician never left the username and pin in order for me to register online, and the free wifi extender I never got that either and I requested for it but the put in and order for different services what kind of business is this? The rep was very unprofessional and I had to keep from cursing her out because she wouldnt listen when I asked for a reschedule!!! ON TOP OF THAT THE REMOTE IS SLOW RESPONDING, THE INTERNET IS SLOW AND IM PAYING FOR 1 GIG I SHOULDNT EVEN LOSE SIGNAL IF I AM GETTING 1 GIG OF INTERNET!!!!! For every weekend for the last 3 weeks I’ve been attempting to play online via pc and without fail, my internet is either too slow, constantly going in and out, or just outright isn’t working. Mind you, my pc is the only thing that’s connected to my WiFi during this time.. I’ve spoken with four different reps. All of which disconnected the chat before they even resolved my issues. Very unprofessional. I spoke with two separate reps in one night; one said that they would manually troubleshoot the problems I was having because there was no reported outage in my area and then disconnected the chat after having me wait over 10 minutes for a response. The second one then told me that there was an outage in my area (I spoke with them not but maybe 2-5 mins apart) and then was told that I would just have to wait until it was “fixed”. The most recent interaction I had, I was told that my internet was manually rebooted and fixed (it still wasn’t) and in attempt to continue the conversation, the representative disconnected the chat and it took me back to the beginning; speaking to an automated bot. Just don’t do it. I pay $60 a month for internet that occasionally works.

I pay for 1GB service but consistently get less than 100MB tested from multiple services. My bill continually goes up arbitrarily - 1 month, then 3 months, then 9 months - and every explanation is you were under a promotion the previous billing cycle.Worst ISP I have ever dealt with. Convenient that the cause for a slow connection is my router placement or poor weather conditions. But theyre always willing to send out a technical expert for an additional fee.What a joke. Im work in IT for a living and they constantly try to give me BS answers.UPDATE: After hours, HOURS of troubleshooting with technicians at my house, they too confirmed I wasnt getting more than 200MB (this time) and they dont have a solution. Called Suddenlink and they told me I would be compensated for 15 months worth of degraded speeds.Lo and behold, now that I have my service scheduled to be cancelled, they decided they werent going to compensate me and that Im out of luck. They said that this is a situation about slow speeds and not an outage - and that they dont compensate for slow speeds.They also said they dont compensate for more than a month when they do compensate. But even that wasnt credited to my account. Im done with this company. Their techs are terrible, customer service is horrible, and their policy is abhorrent.If I could give lower than one star, I certainly would without a second thought.

Worst company ever...even worse than Comcast and I didnt think that was possible. Had to set up new account for my mom after my father died and instead of porting over phone number the sales person gave us a new phone number. I called our old phone number ported over to the new account. Easy, right? Nope, they deleted our phone service altogether. 19 DAYS LATER and HOURS spent calling Suddenlink - we still have NO phone service at all. I have talked with over 25 different people and it comes down to the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing/has done/will do. Service says its a New Account problem and New Accounts says its a Service problem. I say the whole company stinks!

I set an appointment for them to install new service from 8am -11am. No one showed during that allotted time frame. I called and spoke to a CSR and he informed me tech would be out. After waiting all day another CSR called to inform me a tech in fact would not be out because they have suspended new installs due to the hurricane damage down south. I was then given a new install date 2 weeks from today. As a business you guys should post or notify new customers that new installs are suspended. Poor business practice and im not even technically a customer yet. It sucks that they are the only internet provider in my area.

My internet went out at my home. It goes out often so I was concerned, but the next day it was still out. I contacted suddenlink. They said they couldn’t get signal so they said they could have so one come out. But said if it was a issue with wiring I would have to pay 60.00. It took them 3 days to come out. Guy said that I wasn’t getting a signal. He went outside. When he came back in he said that he fixed it out on the pole that they installed. Got my bill and guess what they changed my the 60.00. I was dumbfounded. I called them to get more information. I was told that they had to fix the wires on their equipment, but since they had to change wires they had to charge me. How can I be charge for their equipment that they put out. I couldn’t fix it. They answer I get pay the over 6.00 a month for service so the next time I won’t be charged. This community next more options for service.

Suddenlink has gone way down in the last 3 years. No, you cant talk to anyone who can actually do anything, there dont appear to be any supervisors. Going in person is as worthless as going online. Just moved in to town and had my internet scheduled for install. The technician was unable to make it to my residence within the allotted, agreed upon time. No phone call was given to explain the delay until one hour after the appointment. I was told that I would be rescheduled for install 3 days later. This is unacceptable! The lack of foresight and total disregard for their customers is glaring. Just because you failed to meet a deadline does not mean your customers should suffer the consequences. I guess its to the back line for me then! Wish me luck everybody!

I am not a Suddenlink customer but would like assistance. Your customer service line has lied yet again so I assume social media will be the only place to possibly get a solution.Over a year ago your company installed cable at my neighbors house, however the main cable box is in my backyard. The technician didn’t even attempt to bury the cables but instead lazily left them laying across my grass. It has been a pain to cut grass for a year with having to pick this cable up but we do it to be a good neighbor.We are now in month two of stay at home orders and my toddler has one place to run, our backyard. I have watched him trip over this cable day after day. I will not bury it myself and risk cutting other cables so your company is leaving me with little to do. You can call the phone number for the office everyday until you died and all you receive is false promises that someone will be here within 24 hours.My question to you is, will your team ever take ownership in the fact that you are unable to hire people that can complete a job and what does it take for you to handle this?
