A must hit spot in Boone! This store has really interesting and unique items at very reasonable prices. I hadnt been in since they added the clothing and independent vendor booths. Will definitely be stopping in on a regular basis when were in the area!

One of the coolest places to check out in Boone. They have vendors selling everything from flannel shirts, to local artwork, to handmade furniture! Plus, a bunch of antique stuff! A must see place in Boone!

I love Curiosity! It always has something new and awesome! Super cool furniture and home decor. And lots of awesome clothes and bags . The associates are so helpful, especially the petite brown haired girl. She knocks herself out hauling furniture and is so friendly and helpful. She is like a ray of sunshine, and I love interacting with her. Truth be told, her sparkling personality keeps me coming back again and again.

We had a wonderful visit to this store and I would put this place several steps above your average consignment shop. We found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable and just about everything in the store was in fantastic shape.This place is 5 stars and worth a stop if you are out this way. You could probably purchase everything you need right here if you build a log cabin in the mountains.

The store had amazing items that were very nice and creative. I wanted to take most of them home with me. However, the young man sitting at the desk never even acknowledged us and we walked all through the store and passed his desk three times. We probably would have bought something but didnt really feel welcomed. It wouldnt stop me from going back, I just would expect to be greeted or at least acknowledged in some way.

We bought some reclaimed barn wood from Curiosity and my father made this beautiful table and bench, which will be an heirloom and have many memories shared around it. The price was right for the wood. Very happy with our purchase at Curiosity.

I remember Davids original store in Boone.it had lots of charm and the prices were reasonable. The 105 store seems overly commercial and packs some of the charm I used to love.The prices were not Im keeping with the selection, but I guess that is what happens when you sell to designers and forget the patrons that helped you get there.

Curiosity is one of my happy places. I love it, the vibe, the staff and everything thing about it. It’s such a fun place to shop and there is ALWAYS something I fall in love with. A must!!!

My boyfriend and I were in town for a couple of days and stopped by Curiosity since we love shopping second hand, and they always have cool art pieces. Olivia helped us out while we were there and was SO nice and helpful, she definitely made our shopping experience even better and made for great conversation! We will definitely be stopping by again the next time were in Boone!

Lots of unique furniture finds. Most on consignment, but they also design some of there own. Priced below retail, but still some pricey items. Cash only so come prepared.

A cute little store with friendly staff! They have some really adorable finds. This store is a little pricy, but the items seem to be of good quality! There is a small café inside the store which sells coffee, sodas, pastries and desserts. A lot of the items are hand made(includes some big furniture pieces). The store is actually pretty hot inside, so we didnt want to stay too long. We took home some nice finds for the house, and a few Christmas gifts, too! They accept cash and debit cards ONLY. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for unique, quality finds. Be warned- NO REFUNDS

They had almost anything you could think about except food. they had many items, crafty handmade decor, antique tools, clothes, furniture. We did not buy anything but it was a great place to go and expore.

Recently, they close on Monday and Tuesday’s through the winter to restyle and restock and when they RE-open on Wednesday? Wow, it’s exciting.Recently opened the back to “Vivian & Dot” and Mountain Time on Main coming from Burnsville - outdoor furniture and such, like a general store feeling...gotta go SEE!!!

Warm hospitality they showed me my wife and our friend, a couple weekends ago.We saw the awesome Halloween display and got curious, stopped in but it was closing time, it also got cold outside and we couldnt resist buying a couple flannels. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating even let us look around. The flannel caught our eye but the custom wood working pieces were very neat!We hope to return again soon, and try the coffee shop out, maybe buy more flannel and check out new items.

I drove 1 1/2 hours Sunday to shop at Curiosity. They had been open other Sundays when i drove over, but were closed this time. There was a young man ,Sam , doing some computer work and he came to the door when I knocked. He was so sweet and courteous! He allowed me and my friend to come in and shop, without rushing , and was so helpful! I love this store! Their stuff is so unique, some things are pricey I admit. Not really my kind of place.

Ive shopped here several times.I bought a metal gnome from outside in November. Pricey and they do not take credit or debit cards. Luckily I blew the dust off of a single check buried in my purse and I too was told to make it out to the owner rather than the store and I do not have a new checking account. Payment terms need to be clearly stated on the website and door. I have never been greeted by any employee or owner. Ill be back 3/14/20 while in Boone to see if customer service has improved.

We just went to shop here. The sign on both doors stayed they were open until 5 pm. My husband and I walked in and a bald man who I presume was the owner or manager greeted us brusquely with “We’re closing in 5 minutes” and then walked away. Our daughter and friend were 10 yards behind us and he refused them entrance but then let in other older people after them. He was very rude and we chose not to purchase anything there due to his behavior.

This is a relatively new entry into the Boone NC antique mall or decorative item warehouse. Theres lots to choose from, but mostly new items as opposed to antiques. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. There are several different rooms full of furniture and decorative things for your home so youre bound to find something that suits you. But bring your wallet full of cash. They are kind of pricey and dont take any plastic!

I was very impressed with the selection, workmanship and materials used to make their furniture, My wife and I have been looking for a store like this for years and werent disappointed one bit.Since we were looking for custom furniture we could talk directly with the builder and discuss exactly what we were looking for, and believe me, they are really talented furniture craftsmen and carpenters. They make furniture that can be passed down generations and have a very large selection of woods. Also make some furniture you may have never seen before. Ask to see the box car cabinets.I really dont know why anyone would leave negative reviews but maybe they were looking for something else. The store is very rambling a large 2 story building. Its not a flea market type place, well, some upscale flea mkt type stuff. First time we bought something I didnt realize they would not except credit cards or checks so I just drove to nearest bank and got the money. Nice surprise that there is a decent coffee stand inside. Many furniture items, unique and they can customize the paint etc as there is a large workshop. Reasonable prices.

This place is fantastic. They can custom make anything out of old barn wood. There are many pieces on display to give you lots of ideas. Their fall display will have you walking away with something. If you like metal, they have lots of that too. You can get a coffee or specialty drink while you are shopping.

Went at 11:37 on a Tuesday. Numerous employees walked past us and didn’t say a word. Walked the entire two sections of the store and never acknowledged once. Too busy gossiping with someone at the coffee bar inside. Cute items and probably would have made a purchase has anyone bothered to assist me.

Found exactly what we needed. Awesome prices and GREAT FRIENDLY employees. Walked in right at closing time we didnt know it was closing time and they invited us to stay in and take as long as we needed.

This place has a very unique selection of old used furniture and old looking new furniture. Several things are made on location in the shop in the back. They also have a little mini coffee shop and some sweets. they have a pretty wide selection of things like pie safes with chicken wire and old chairs and things that are made out of repurposed barn boards. my wife and I spent about 30 minutes there browsing and we ended up buying a gift item for a birthday present. the most pleasant surprise was that nothing there was junk. many times when you hear the word Consignment you associated with a yard sale items but it is nothing at all like that. I would estimate that 90% of the merchandise is made on site or selectively purchased. Someday when I have a big house with a huge dining room and I want to put a sophisticated handmade dining room table then this is the place where Ill find it.

We built a waterfall and needed some finishing touches. All it took was a trip to Curiosity and it was complete! We got a half windmill blade for the top portion above the waterfall and added Boone, the goat, as an accent and its prefect!! The selection and service at Curiosity is fabulous!! We will always drive over from Knoxville for that little perfect something because we always find it there!!

It was a nice store. Items seemed a bit overpriced for what they were. It had a weird payment system. I felt a bit weird when making my payment on a few things I found that werent overpriced. I was asked to write a check payable to the owner not the business.

I love this place! Lots of restored vintage finds. I bought three gothic windows in grey--they have several great colors. It was hard to pick. Also a small metal windmill that I have been looking for for a long time. Definitely check it out and dont forget to bring cash :)

I purchased some really cute penguins 30 days ago. Paint began to peel and expose the plaster. I asked for a refund and was denied. I understand the No Refund policy and am okay with that. I DID NOT appreciate the owners lack of good customer service. His condescending tone and lack of graciousness will keep me from returning. This is an honest review by a real person and actual event: not just a PERCEPTION. Look me up on facebook.In response to your response: I did not have issue with your No Refund policy as you can clearly read. I purchased the items at 50% off not 75%. My issue was the owners attitude.

Not what I was expecting. Felt like a Fixer Upper show room with the reclaimed wood furniture and the consignment laid out like a boutique.The back of the shop has more of the consignment you might expect. Great selection of reclaimed wood.

Im very sad to say I was unable to purchase the pieces that really spoke to me as we were 3 hours from home and driving the smaller car and not the husbands truck. :)This place has beautiful furniture pieces - striking and unique. Many of which are made of re-purposed barn wood - my favorite!! Prices are a bit lofty on larger items, but they are incredibly beautiful and seemed to be well built and sturdy.They had stained glass windows, dining room sets, all kinds of sitting chairs and sofas... bed frames, metal decor, antiques, and Christmas Stuff; unique and crafty Christmas stuff!When we were there, cash was all they could take - but they do have an ATM on the spot, so no problem there. ;)

Mega Warehouse is definitely the word for this place. They have a little of everything. Stuff that is already finished or DIY. They also have things you can work on yourself. Although I thought that some of their items were a little pricey its definitely worth a stop..

Beautiful options but this IS NOT CONSIDERED A THRIFT STORE. The priceses are outrageous. Im a boone local and I guess they forgot we still exist. Unless I had all the money to waste I could never afford their products. **Thrifts stores are marked down not jacked up because you painted it and threw your name on it!** due to not looking rich I WASNT SPOKE TO MY EMPLOYEES.

Always an enjoyment to browse around this place. They carry furniture of all sorts and seasonal items. They also have a beverage bar you can order a coffee and such as you take a look.

Like the unique furniture pieces that can sometimes be found here. Bought one and had it painted. When delivered, they had screwed screws through the decorative wood inside the piece. After several attempts to get them to repair the piece, I stopped trying. Unfortunate.

Huge inventory, lots of variety and price points. Quality items, with a bunch of unique pieces in the consignment, salvage , and repurposed areas. They also have an adorable coffee shop right in house, which is convenient because you will likely be there awhile.

I love to look at all the different types of furniture, old, new, or repurpose. Today, my husband bought 2 end tables & a small drop leaf table. The employees were very kind & helpful. I hope to visit there again soon.

The title of the store is misleading. Its not really a consignment store. Its a refurbished furniture store. They take antique furniture and make into beautifully restored furniture. Quite expensive though. They only take cash as well. Nice store but there is no consignment shopping to be done there.
