I been here numerous of times, staff is friendly and very helpful, prices are decent. Check out their website before you stop by to make sure they have the item in stock to save you a trip. I live in National City and this store is the closest to me without having to drive 8+ miles north. Highly recommended.

Bought a few things there and only had trouble putting on a barrel nut for an AR-15 but took it in and they helped me out with it. Found out it was pretty much the barrel nut that i was having the trouble with. Service was great.

Wonderful staff, plentiful parking, but more importantly they know what theyre talking about. (Except when it comes to Thai food, youre on your own there)

Terrible service, Mike was very rude to me two out of the three times I was there doing a transfer. He doesnt have a clue about what great service means not does he care. I went to Turners in El Cajon the day after I was at TDS and their service was excellent.

They didnt say a word until after they finished their little convo with only 3 employees talking. Very short with all his answers, like he couldnt WAIT for me to leave. I walked over to look at the handguns and they got busy doing whatever it is they do, instead of walking over and helping me. I felt so disrespected as a customer, and gladly walked out...not getting MY money!

This place sucks they dont even have the courtesy to answer the phone I called 4 times at different hours I cant believe they are so busy as not to answer the phone took my business elsewhere

Came in to ask if I could see their ar-15 lowers, the gentleman behind the counter pointed out that all he had was in the bottom shelf; which was empty... When I asked when they would be expecting to receive more, they gave me a date. It felt like prying teeth out of a sharks mouth. I personally missed out on the friendly local gun store experience.

I have been in tds guns many times, asking questions, window shopping, and such. The staff is more than happy to answer any question, and offer advice, information, and recomendations for any reason you may want to purchase a firearm. They are also very knowlegeable with laws governing gun users, resident and otherwise. Any future firearms purchases I plan on making will for sure be conducted with this business.

So I went to TDS today to purchase a aeroprecision ar15 lower there website shows 2 in stock. When I arrive and question about the 2 lowers I seen online the NANCY BOY (taller skinny guy with dirt blonde hair drinking Starbucks Frappuccino) said they are on builds, but online there being sold as individual lowers at $99. I said maybe you should specify online that there on builds. NANCY BOYS response is (Maybe) then continues to sip his NANCY BOY FRAPPUCCINO so still trying to be polite I ask when they would have them? (Mind you Ive got cash to spend) NANCY replies shrugging his shoulders and still sipping his Frappuccino I dont know a week maybe 2 I dont know never even tried to save the sale let me walk out the door. Needless to say Im taking my business else where.

Wanted to do a ppt transfer. They charge the $35 DROS And an additional $40 storage fee ridiculous.

I waited for at least 45 minutes until I payed for the 80% lower receiver. They dont have any selection of any parts, there customer service skills suck. The next week my buddy went in there to buy the same lower, and TDS raised the price to $179+ tax. Prices are ridiculous also. Parallax Tactical is my new store of choice even if I have to drive.

They have a a horrible customers service, a very bad attitude. If u read their refund policy u wont buy. They say 10 days, but it always takes longer. If your turned down 10% charge. 10% even if its not your fault.
