I have done business with Vintage City Guitars for a couple years now and Ive been very pleased with their expertise. They are honest and knowledgeable! I have sold a couple guitars to them and they gave me a great price for both guitars, much higher than I expected to get!

Ok, so it was about 2 uears ago and had gotten a mailer abou Vintage city. I called them in Michigan and they were really cooperative and easy going. I had a Martin D 35 and 12 string Gibson from 1966. I wasnt playing them very much as i did 30 years ago so i considerrd selling them. ( my wife was all theyre taking up too much room! )theBut i dont like folks making appointments to see things im selling BUT...i was very leary about sending my prized instruments ( even insured) out to Michigan as many people seemed to have qualms and scam experiences. But then, they told me they had a new guy in LA and i could bring them there in person. (I live in LA) to be appraised. So i went and found it was a postal/ups/ fedex place with a guy working who knew nothing about guitars. But he knew i was coming not knowing he wasnt a guitar guy. He made a phone call to Vintage City and then sat me down in front of a computer screen and I was Skyping with my guy in Michigan. He asked me to hold up every detail in front of the camera for both guitars and if he was interested and we could agree on a fair price, i would be walking out of the store with a check sent from him to L A...that minute. so after a little dickering, he said say good bye to you old friends, mr martin and gibson and sent via computer a check for a few thousand dollars. Easy, quick, no issues . All very good.Right after that i went across the street and bought myself a beautiful black Ovation accoustic /electric at Guitar center. A cool black onr that listed new for 1650 bucks but since it was supposedly used but it never was but couldnt be sold as new. I still wanted a guitar to fool around with and it was only 400 bucks and sounds great.Anyway, vintage city was so easy and if you do it how i did, you wont have to worry and save a bunch of time trying to get maybe 100-200 bucks more and lots of time with ebay. Etc. So for me, they were great.

Hired an Uber driver for my visit and found out they no longer have a store front. Bummed as I collect vintage guitars and still play for a living.
