They used to be so good with their services, but not anymore. even if we call ahead to place an order, you will have to wait once you get to the store. In addition, the store is not well cleaned at all.

A good place for tasty Kerala dishes & snacks. They prepare food items per request & adjust spice levels also as needed. Good folks to get catering done by.They also carry a variety of grocery items that is used more in Kerala cuisine.

Some of the food items are really good. Got curry leaves plant!! And enough groceries.

I ordered food from here and the owner messed the entire order up. There was hair found in my food it was nasty. The masala dosa I ordered did not have any potatoes in it. The owner did not apologize and refused to make the order correct. I will never come here again. Please avoid this place.

Hello, we had a horrible experience with this restaurant. We ordered masala dosas and ended up getting dosas with no potatoes in them. We ordered the food to be picked up at 330, and waited at the store until 5pm and had cold food served at our party in the end be cause all the food was made at different times. There was no compensation for this by the restaurant, they said next time we come to order they will discount us. Really disappointed.

I got aviyal and white rice from here. No complaints about the food, it tasted good, but the experience of ordering was very confusing.I came in on a tuesday during lunch break, the place was empty of customers, I asked the cashier if they were selling lunch at all on weekdays. After much awkward communication/gesturing it turns out they do. I ask if the online menu was still up to date (since they have no menu posted inside) and dont get a straight answer. End up asking do you have aviyal? and guy says yes, finally get my food. On my way out I swipe the single printed menu thats kind of tucked out-of-the-way on the counter, check the prices, and they are wildly discrepant with how much I paid. Which means I was either overcharged for 1 serving, or they gave me 2 servings without telling me.I expected the process to be a little challenging, since Im Chinese and dont speak Malayalam. However my experience there was so awkward, to the point that I hesitate to go back or recommend it to non Indian friends. Which is a shame - because kerala food is awesome and establishments in Chicagoland selling it are so few and far between.Edit: disclaimer that my review is just about their in-store lunch counter, not catering services!

Very good Kerela food! Do recommend it. I suggest the chicken curry, appam, malabar parantha, idli. They were all very good!

This place is getting filthier and filthier. The entire store is filthy including the refrigerators by the cashier. How can they even run a business like that. I am afraid if they can be closed by the county health dept.

I had some samosas from here and they are fantastic! The phyllo shell and the flavourful stuffing was such a great combo. Not to mention, they were freshly cooked for me after I got there and the price is really low. Definitely coming back to try the other foods and get more of those samosas!

This place is awesome. My coworkers and I go for lunch several times a week. There is no printed menu, the food varies by day. Ive never been disappointed though. The price is more than fair.

Went to this place last week and bought different varieties of Kerala side dishes. Loved them all. New owner turned this place around. I am adding this to my favorites!

Food and service is of highest quality. Owner himself supervise staff and goes to events and make sure everything is perfect.

Food are really nice. We had biryani as well as porotta. They both were good. If you are malayali and miss porotta.. you should order from them. They also have store alongside.

So far ,I only liked the parippu vada . Even though the store is under new management , the cook is still the same . Beef fry and fish curry is just average and that too big pieces of beef is not visually pleasing. Also before purchasing , pls ask if the food is freshly prepared otherwise you get food from the fridge which are days old and not fresh . I got goat biriyani individual box straight from the fridge but charged 13 dollars , same as you would get from a dine in place with hot food with salad and all .

They have my non m-meat meals delidghts ready any time, try banana fry from them, youd love it... I love drinks and food all over I go by💜!

Tried pork and chicken. tasty and right priced. Will come back for snacks.Snacks is kind of ok. Vazhakappom and cutlet.Biriyani is waste. Had mutton biryani with hardly any pieces better option would be hyderabadi ones.Good for pork and beef takeouts. Porotta are the frozen ones which you can buy and heat it and have.

Had chili chicken and beef fry. Heaven. Absolute heaven.The Chicken was more indo Chinese than any other options we have in Chicago. Chicken: 8/10The beef was perfectly balanced, not to spicy, but I wish they made it into smaller pieces.. 7.5/10Had pazham pori and parippuvada. The first was a bit hard on the shell and banana not that ripe. I would rate a 6/10.Wada was the best. It was very fresh and crunchy. Will give 10/10
