I recently installed a BDS lift on a 2018 Dodge Ram.Working with Richie Sr and Richie Jr has and continues to be an absolute pleasure. They have been true to their word throughout, and are incredibly responsive before, during and after the work is performed.The qualities I like most about them is their passion for their work, their willingness to stand behind their product and frankly - their love for one another. They are genuine people.I will continue to be a customer of theirs for a long time to come.And after 4,000 miles on the new setup, it continues to drive just as well as when the lift was installed. Truck also looks amazing.

Where to begin… The professional dynamic and family atmosphere over at RMS is beyond amazing. From one family owned company to another, these guys are on point. I haven’t had my vehicle lifted yet, but I paid my deposit and I’m on the schedule. Every single question was answered and answered with total honesty. Every myth debunked and every fact instilled. I am very excited for my upcoming project with my Tacoma and I will absolutely be leaving another review but I will say, from the time you walk into their shop, you are treated like gold!

While I did not have any work done there, the guys at RMS were super helpful with figuring out what I needed to get my truck in the best shape. I will always go to them from now on. They tell it how it is and don’t sell you what you don’t need.

The Crew at RMS are top notch. I chose them to install the lift on my E350 van. I drove from NJ, dropped off and took an Uber then the train back (many stops and hours to get home). Totally worth it. Never have I experienced such quality work and attention to detail. Ritchie Sr. even called me from the test drive to let me know how it drove etc. Quality service and honest, nice people. I unconditionally recommend RMS. I was very intimidated when I went to their shop for the first time. Many auto specialty shops have an attitude and have no patience for dumb questions.When I entered the shop, I was greeted by Rich Jr. who gave me a huge smile, and I immediately felt comfortable. Rich Jr. easily spent 30 minutes talking me out of my dumb ideas and educating me. Although Rich Jr. talked me out of mis-spending a lot of money, he did not try to sell me anything. Rich Sr. then came out of the garage and I was again greeted with a big smile. I told him I came to spend a lot of money but his son talked me out of it. Rich Sr. then spent at least 15 more minutes teaching me about lifts. Again, he did not try to sell me anything.I then did a tremendous amount of research which confirmed everything I was told by RMS was true. I then returned to the shop approximately 2-3 months later and incredibly, Rich Sr. and Rich Jr. remembered me.I told them I wanted a full suspension lift, and left a deposit which was no where near the amount of money the shop laid out ordering parts.The shop is so popular I was placed on a waiting list. I had questions during the wait and could have easily picked up the phone and made a call. However, the shop is such an inviting place, and I stopped by at least four times just for an excuse to hang out. Each time we were happily greeted by Rich Sr. and Rich Jr. My lift questions were easily answered within a minute, but I would spend at least 20 minutes hanging out at the shop talking about anything you can imagine. If I could, I would spend all my free time hanging out at the shop.As far as the quality of their work, some shops will lift your truck with no concern regarding safety and ride quality. The average person is excited to see his/her truck lifted, and drives away happy. They eventually stop lying to him/herself and accepts that he/she paid a lot of money for a ride quality that is horrible and likely unsafe.RMS kept my truck longer than I wanted. I wanted it back ASAP! However, they did not tell me it was ready until it drove perfectly (the few extra days wait was worth it).In regards to price, RMS did not “nickel and dime” me. Some problems were discovered along the way (my truck is a 2012) and RMS fixed the problems for cost. They also did not upcharge me for the rims and tires I later ordered. Also, when I ordered an after-market bumper from Shrockworks, they installed it for less than they quoted me, and at a fraction of the cost of the bumper.I am in no way affiliated with RMS professionally or personally. I did a lot of researching and asking around to find the best people to do my Jeep lift and had narrowed it down to 2 places on Long Island. One conversation with Richie Jr. and I knew these guys were the best. Very honest, very helpful, very patient in answering all of my questions I came prepared with, and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone said my Jeep would ride worse after being lifted and somehow it actually rides MUCH better. He uses only highest quality products which was the #1 suggestion I received from people. I absolutely love my Jeep now and I would NEVER bring my Jeep to anyone but Richie to work on it. Already brought a friend there because he was jealous of how much better mine rode than his. Richie found the issue within seconds of talking and inspecting his ride and is fixing it tomorrow. This is an honest, truly professional family owned business.

This is a five star truck shop all around ! I began to have trouble with the air suspension in my Ram Rebel, and we ended up swapping out the air suspension for a 6 BDS suspension lift on Fox 2.5 coilovers with reservoirs, BDS Suspension UCAs and Fox racing 2.0s in the rear, including request for a custom red color. For any new potential customers: this place and these guys are so knowledgeable and professional. I felt included every step of the way with the project and the issue, and communication is important to me. They even went out of the way to do outside research for my trucks very specific problem and paid attention to every detail and option. I decided to go with a custom system from RMS Off-Road because of the dedication, proficiency, amazing reputation, work and the trust that was established with them initially investigating my trucks problem. I knew my truck was in the best hands here, and I will be a returning customer.

Hunted around LI looking for a competent shop to work on my VW beetle. Got turned away at every corner, except when I talked to these guys. Phenomenal work and pricing, but most of all they are understanding and talk to you. These guys were happy to walk me through what they were going to do, and made the whole process a dream. They take pride in their work and business and it shows. On top of all that they build me a cool bug.

These guys saved my bacon!!! After a 2 week vacation from work I brought my lifted Jeep jku into my mechanic because of a rattling sound before returning to work the next day at 4 am. My mechanic found that the top bushing on both rear shocks had failed and the shocks needed to be replaced. Well, needless to say, finding shocks for a lifted truck that don’t have to be ordered is near impossible.I called every imaginable option with no success. No one had shocks in stock. At my wits end I was given the number to RMS off-road as a final option. I spoke to Richie Sr. And explained that I needed any shock for a lifted truck he had. Now, most people would just sell me shocks and call it a day. But, Richie didn’t! He asked me to send a picture of what I was dealing with. He then explained I didn’t need shocks, I needed to replace the bushings. I asked if he was sure I didn’t need new shocks. He told me he was fairly certain, but, if I did, he had them. My girl drove me from Freeport to Bohemia with the shocks to see what could be done. When we got there Richie and his son were very helpful. They took the shocks to the back and pressed in new urethane bushings. I was incredibly grateful for their help and asked how much it would cost. Richie Sr. Said it wouldn’t cost anything!!!! I am a customer for life! Anything and everything I need for my truck will be bought from them!! That is customer service at its best! I will spread the word of their business to everyone I know! Im not a 4x4 guy. Im restoring a 1968 MGB with my 16 year old son. Were rebuilding the rear axle (which everyone says not to do, too complicated) and needed some advice on getting the diff carrier and pinion bearings off. Several message boards suggested that a local 4X4 shop could help, so after a quick Google search, off I went to RMS. What an AMAZING place! Ritchie couldnt have been nicer! Not only did he take a look at what I had but he offered to help with the disassembly right then and there! There are few places in the world today where youll find someone so knowledgeable and helpful at the same time! Truly an exceptional place!

I can’t say enough good things about RMS . Richie Sr and Jr where absolutely awesome to work with. They took all my wants/ needs and made them into reality. They guided me in the right direction without selling me things I didn’t need. There workmanship was without a doubt the best I have come across. Best shop on the Island hands down. Rich Jr. And Sr. are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Discussing options with this shop is a breathe of fresh air, as they truly want their customers to be happy and do not upsell you on things you do not need or want. Most shops and people have off days..... Except for Rich and Richie, I want whatever is in their coffee, because these guys always have a positive attitude and a smile on their face. My Tacoma handles incredibly now, and has exactly the stance I was looking for, all thanks to the honest and knowledgeable work from RMS!

Back in the late 90s...I had a dodge 2500 w/ 6 lift w/35s installed by Rich Sr...Since then, had kids, sold the fun truck and owned boring, married, out-of shape, dad type commuting vehicles. When my testosterone returned and i ditched the kids in the Canadian Rockies and purchased a new 2021 jeep wrangler that needed a lift & big tires. I knew I had to search out for RMS Off Road..prayed that they didnt go out of business due to the fake pandemic and my prayers were answered...both Rich St. & Jr. were alive & well and still rockin truck lifts on Long Island. (just moved across the street).I dropped of the jeep for a 2 lift w/ko2s & rhino armory rims (wife wanted something she didnt need a ladder to climb into)... picked it up after one day install & couldnt be happier...thing looks awsome. Theres a reason these guys are business for 20 plus years! Thanks again to RMS Off Road for making this an easy decision (and an extremely rare thumbs up from the wifey)

I am extremely happy I took my truck to this shop. From day one Richie Sr. was very friendly and very informative about what lift I should put on my truck and did not give me any pressure..... I got estimates from other shops and I just didnt feel comfortable going with them. (Took me 4 years to finally decide to put a 6 in lift on)Richie Jr. did great work and was also very friendly when I spoke with him and treated my truck like it was his.. There were times when I wanted to go just hang out at their shop because I enjoyed being there especially at their new location. If you decide to get work done on your truck this is the place to go, very happy I did.

I bought off- roading tires for my old 03 Highlander. I brought my vehicle to two separate places, including Mavis tire. I was assured at both places that these tires would absolutely NOT fit the vehicle. One man who said he’s been mounting tires since he was 15, said with “150% certainty” these tires will never fit this Highlander. I was really discouraged and was planning on sending the tires back, when I came across RMS Off Roads’ website. I figured I had nothing to loose so I called them up. They stayed on the call with me for at least 30 minutes with no certainty of me even coming in as a customer. I received valuable, honest and genuine advice. They were more concerned about the safety of me in my vehicle then making a sale. They took me the same day, mounted and balanced the same tires that I was already told would never fit. The service and workmanship was top notch, so much so that my wife was able to sit in the vehicle and continued to conduct her virtual learning with her students, without ever being disturbed! I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you guys for all that you did- we’ll be back to see you.

The customer service at RMS is second to none. This is the most honest shop you will find on Long Island for truck modifications. I will definitely be returning.

I called RMS about what I suspected was bad front coil springs on my Chevy camper van. They took the time to diagnose the issue and outlined steps to take to confirm it wasnt an alignment issue. They then educated me on how to choose the right coil springs for my vehicle which is a complex math equation. Since I dont live locally, he even suggested I take the van to a mechanic shop near me since it was a fairly straightforward job that could be done cheaply by a mechanic. Finally they said to call back with any additional questions I may have. All this and Im not even a paying customer!! These guys are awesome!!

My ONLY complaint in this review is that I can only give 5 STARS!!!I had such a GREAT experience dealing with both Richies at RMS Offroad. They had no problem answering my MANY questions I had during my planning phase. Once I decided to go for the lift the entire process their service was VERY PROFESSIONAL from start to finish!!! My truck was even finished two days ahead of schedule.I am VERY happy that I chose RMS Offroad to install 6inch BDS lift, 35 inch Nittos on Fuel Assaults. I had RMS off-road install a 6-inch bracket lift with XD revolver wheels and Nitto Tires on my 2007 FJ Cruiser. I used to live on Long Island and I know their Stellar reputation. I now live in Arizona I drove the truck cross country to have them lift my truck while visiting relatives back on Long Island. I would have no one else ever install something on my truck other than RMS off road. Their knowledge and professionalism is second to none. Im absolutely thrilled with the work that was done. RMS is the ONLY place to go with anything that is related to lifted trucks. Whether you are greeted by Rich or Richie Jr, you will get the best advice regarding your project, new or old. Theyre not only very knowledgeable about all things lifted but give honest advice without any pressure.They both made my purchase simple because of the people they are and the family vibe that the shop has. Even with my older 79 Ford F150, I felt comfortable leaving it with them and I dont trust many shops out there. Theyre very meticulous throughout the entire process of working on your truck. In the end, Im extremely happy with my purchase and left the shop with two new friends! Cant wait to go back for future purchases!

RMS off-road is the best! I try to be meticulous about vehicles/toys, and with that being said there is no shop I could trust more with my truck. If you are looking to do any modifications to your truck or 4wd vehicle I would highly recommend RMS.

Just got off the phone with Jr. after 15 minutes talking about what options I have for my 2018 Silverado 1500 LT All-Star Edition. Seems like a cool, down to earth guy and going bring my truck to the shop and see what he thinks. I’ll keep you all updated but customer service 5 stars.

RMS Off-Road is the absolute best! If you have a 4X4 and live on Long Island these are the guys to go to. Over the past few years, Ive had a number of upgrades on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. Ive had 35 Mickey Thompson tires and wheels installed, a 3 lift BDS, Fox Shocks, a spare tire carrier, tires rotated, and wheel alignment. Everything has been completed in a timely fashion! Their customer service, knowledge and expertise is unmatchable. They are always positive and friendly. Rich and Richie are always willing to listen to your questions or concerns and will definitely lead you in the right direction on your next project. Im looking forward to having some additional upgrades and service done by RMS for my Jeep:)

I brought my Jeep in for a lift & wheels/tires. Richie jr talked me through his suggestions and did not try to up sell me on a lift package that I don’t need. I am so pleased with the quality of the work and the customer service I received. I went in for my two week check up today and thought I needed front brakes and was willing to pay whatever I needed to. Instead of just taking my money and replacing my brakes, Richie was honest and showed me I still have enough brake pad left and it wasn’t needed. I 100% would recommend RMS to anyone in need. Can’t praise them enough 😁 my girl looks great !!

Stop. Look no further. Father and son operation that goes the distance. From full axle swaps to minor suspension work these guys do the right thing. They are honest, helpful and beyond fair. I strongly recommend them.There I was stuck with a broken bar pin on my jeep on a Friday afternoon. Big trip planned for the following day. Called everywhere, no one had it. Even worse being it was a $3 part no one was interested in helping locate one. These guys had one laying around and were willing to install it for me on the spot. I tried but shattered a socket...

Just wanted to say what a great shop this is and I thank God that I brought my truck here!!! Father and son team Rich & Rich are 2 of the most knowledgeable, nicest guys you will ever meet and deal with. Besides this their integrity is like no other. I went to their shop like a kid in a candy shop. I wanted everything & believe me they could have sold me the kitchen sink and I wouldve bought it. But Rich Jr led me in the right direction. He told me what he thought was best and suggested what I should have done. Dont get me wrong, they were more than willing to do whatever I wanted as long as it could be done. But Rich made some really great suggestions to me and actually saved me a bunch of money that he could have easily made. And he was totally right, my truck came out way more than I could have imagined. I constantly get compliments on my truck and I drive it around all the time just to drive it because I love the look and feel of it so much. Also, Im always bothering them and asking questions or looking for suggestions and they always make time to explain whatever I ask. I could go on and on about them and the amazing work they do. If youre thinking of doing anything, call them first. You will not regret it!!!

5 star all the way. Rich and Junior are the ultimate in off road modifications their knowledge and ability with 4X4 is second to none. I own a heavily modified Nissan Titan, that is getting on in age, they check the truck as soon as I roll in and are always able to help me fix the truck economically and efficiently the first time. If you do not go to RMS Off-road, you are wasting your time and money.

Cannot say enough about Richie sr and Richie jr at RMS. For months I dealt with a truck where my lift had issues and was not installed correctly from another shop. That shop tried countless times to fix the issue to no avail. Both Richies listened to my concerns, test rode with me, and was able to find the problem and fix it after having the truck one time. They are both courteous, knowledgeable and professional, and obviously masters at their craft. They could have easily turned me away having not done the original install. I finally enjoy driving my truck again - my only regret is I didnt bring it to these guys first. Will never bring my truck to anyone else. RMS saved the day for me - best in the business by far. I did extensive research on who to use for lifting my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. Upon speaking with Rich Sr on the phone, he made me feel 100% comfortable with leaving my baby in their hands. Everything I asked them to do, they did above & beyond what I thought. My truck was completed on the completion day, no issues whatsoever, & it has never looked better. I always wanted to lift my Tacoma but there is not too much information on the internet regarding a good mechanic specialized in Toyota trucks. So I just googled long island off-road store and found RMS. I read almost all of the reviews, 95% of which are 5-stars ones, and decided to give it a try.I know a lot of reviews can be bought from some digital marketing companies these days. However, after a very nice experience with RMS, Im 100% sure that all the 5-star reviews are 100% real from real customers.Rich is very nice, friendly, and honest from the very beginning. As other reviews mentioned, he gave me a lot of good advices, provided several lift options and pointed out what I dont really need. I finally went with an option he recommended that suits my budget. Its not the most expensive one but Rich and his guys jumped right into it. They literally finished my project in 2-3 hours, just as he promised. The whole process is just super smooth. Nice and Easy.As they were working on my truck, I walked around the store and see a lot of full suspension lift projects. You know those projects aint cheap. Usually when a store is busy and fully booked with more expensive projects, it picks customers. My project is a small one, just a few hundred bucks, but they still took it seriously. Thats what really impressed me. Not to mention the beautiful work theyve done.For that, Ill definitely recommend Rich and his RMS to those ones who are looking for a good mechanic for their trucks. Just give him a call and you wont be disappointed.Oh btw, Rich gave me some small gifts in the end. A hat, several cool stickers and some cool keychains. : )

My boyfriend recently had his RAM 1500 lifted by RMS and it looks amazing. From the time we went to schedule his lift to when we picked up his truck, Richie Sr. and Richie Jr. could not have been more professional and helpful. You can tell from a mile away that RMS truly cares about each and every customer and keeping their customers happy is a top priority. If I had a truck that I wanted lifted in the future, I wouldnt go anywhere but RMS.

Great group of folks who went above and beyond to help me install Camburg UCAs on my 2010 Ford Expedition. There was a slight issue after the install where my tires would rub the control arms at full turn (I should have purchased different control arms), and they helped my out with a pair of spacers to correct the issue free of charge. Also they provided advice for future modifications. Overall awesome experience. Would visit again!

Rich and his son are so knowledgeable on what they do. No matter what question I have about my truck they know the answer. I would not take my truck anywhere but RMS off-road . Over the years they have lifted probably 10 trucks for me. When you do major suspension work to your truck, such as a lift price means nothing. If you want your truck safe and perfect you will go here. In my opinion there whole business is your safety. Even the littlest of problems they are quick to help you. I went there with a small problem with my truck, it was looked at immediately, and will be fixed next week. All the years I have been a customer, they all make you feel like family.

RMS turned my 2011 F150 into a one of kind truck that rode better with more stability than the factory ride. Even the little shutter and shake my truck had was gone after they worked on it. They are really easy to talk to, willing to share their knowledge and experience freely about any project you have in mind. A truly unique specialty shop that is reasonably priced for the outstanding service they provide. Ill never start another project on my truck without first hearing their opinion and advice.

Richie and the staff at RMS Off-road are the best! Spoke with them numerous times about putting wheels and tires on my truck. I wanted to make sure the truck looked great and that everything would fit and they made sure it would! Best off-road shop on the island hands down!

I was there a few days ago looking for a lift on a jeep I was going to purchase, Richie jr was extremely helpful and polite enough to take time out of his day to explain everything to me for a car I had not even purchased yet. Cannot thank RMS off road enough for the work they did on my 2015 wrangler JK. Was looking at a couple different shops but after reading the reviews RMS was the right place to go. Richie went over every little thing with me from what wheels I want to how driving on the LIE will feel a bit different. The entire experience was incredible, quick, and extremely professional. These guys are top shelf 2nd to none A class. SR and jr are totally awesome people with a true passion for what they do I truly enjoyed our extensive conversation about hot rods race cars and trophy truck while we were putting a wheel and tire package together for my quigley after a few on the money measurements we pulled the trigger on a set of meathod wheels wrapped with a mean looking set of ridge grapplers the fit was unbelievably perfect in my opinion theres only one place for this kind of customer service and knowledge and thats out front blazing the trail and paving the way keep on keeping on gentleman youve gained a customer for life

These guys are top notch. I came in asking for 38x13.5R22 tires, rims and an 8 lift. Richie recommended i go with 37x13.5R20 because if i went 38 i would need a 10 lift and i didnt want to go that high.The real excitement is Richie took the time to explain why he recommended i go 37R20 which was because the tires are easier to find and are a bit cheaper. He even took me out to look at the difference to make sure i agreed and would be happy; he said i wouldnt notice the differnece in look and he was spot on and saved me some money (who does that these days most are trying to jack up the price not lower it...these guys are honest people)!!PIcked up the truck and man is it awesome, Richie was spot on.Family run shop, love these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to take a minute to thank RMS. Richie and staff did an awesome job on my lifted Tacoma alignment. The truck was at 3 different shops prior and none of them had the experience or know how to get it into spec. My truck drives straight and true and its never felt better. THANK YOU RMS!

For years I have always admired and loved all the lifted trucks RMS Off-road has done and I always said whenever I get a truck I’m going to lift it and get new tires and rims. Well I finally got my F150!! My truck now sits on a 6inch lift BDS suspension, Fox shocks, 35 trail grapplers tires and rock star II rims. I’m in love with my truck. Thanks to Rich and his son for the impeccable service and quality work. I never had to worry about being taken advantage of because I’m a woman, they were professional and took there time to explain the steps to make my truck totally awesome.

Couldnt be happier with my 2007 Tundra! Rich and Richie were Great to work with! They are very Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient! As soon as I called, these guys dropped what they were doing and asked me to come into the store to help with my jeep cover. Ive been going to RMS ever since I bought my lifted 2006 TJ. The person I bought it from said they did the suspension lift, and I can tell you without a doubt that the guys at RMS are true masters of their field. Ive never had a problem with any of the work theyve done; theyre fast, courteous, and get everything done right the first time. Id never go anywhere else again!Do yourself a favor--if you have a modified truck, go to RMS. Itll be the best decision youve ever made.

I had a great experience in working with Richie. Since I am new to the whole off road experience, I had a bunch of questions in regards to my 09 JK which I purchased with lift kit. He took the time to get on the highway with me to test drive my JK and actually straighten out the wheel a bit. He was honest with me in stating that my truck is fine and that nothing is needed. Didnt even charge me a dime!I would recommend RMS for all your truck needs. Having honest people like Richie makes your experience that much better as he always wants to do the right thing by his clients.Thank you again Richie!

Great shop! RMS installed custom fenders on my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Im very pleased I selected RMS to do the work! I spent days on the forums beforehand because the fenders I selected from Bushwhacker were notorious for not fitting well and requiring installation by an expert with lots of experience and the ability to solve issues on the fly with a tricky install. These guys spent the time to make me aware of the risks with the fenders to the point of almost talking themselves out of the job...thats rare. Anyway, Richie did a fantastic job for me. The install came out great! He knows what hes doing. In fact, as it turned out, the fender factory had shipped me the wrong part and it hung up their installation overnight. I thought RMS was going to charge me extra for the factorys screw up that cost them an extra day but NO JOKE...he actually charged me a little less than what we agreed upon weeks earlier. Thanks guys!!!

Wow! Just wow!! Picked my 2016 Denali HD up from RMS today and I was simply stunned!!!What honestly can be said that hasn’t already been said in the many positive reviews below? Let me tell you— it’s well worth reiterating and even continuing on a couple of other reviews, that’s for sure!I too did extensive research as to what parts I needed to level my GMC Denali HD and who to do the work. After the first conversation with Rich Sr. Via telephone, he completely educated me on all that I was going to need and/or benefit from, as well as the best kit to suit my interests. Nevertheless, I hung the phone up feeling 100% comfortable with giving RMS the business to build my new truck.Senior and his son are so professional and so very knowledgeable on what they do that there really is no feeling other than, “Wow, the know their stuff and they truly care about the work they do and the customers that they serve!” The end result was nothing short of spectacular...The attention to detail and time put into making this the best truck I could ask for were just the tip of the iceberg. These guys are simply the best! They just installed a 6 BDS suspension lift with Fox shocks into my 2014 Ram 2500. This truck looks amazing and drives better than stock. Not only do I recommend RMS to everyone looking to raise their truck, these guys can handle any type of modification you might be looking for such as onboard air, fender flares, audio and lets not forget running boards and grill guards. So i got my jeep done here a fews years ago. And rich and his son have helped me make my dream jeep come true. Between electric and lighting to recommendation of products they support, to answering questions i have on other products anytime i called. The jeep is still in the works, but theyre a great shop to go to and i recommend them to anyone on LI who is looking to build a bad ass truck.

Trustworthy. Knowledgeable. KindI had first discovered the shop via word of mouth. I heard it was a great place and decided to give them a shot, Im glad I did.I had an 02 TJ with a 2 lift and wanted to purchase Fox 2.0 performance shocks. Ordered what I thought was the correct shock from an online retailer and couldnt have been more wrong. I went to the shop, explained what happened and they were incredibly helpful. They explained that although the Jeep had a 2 lift, that might not be the appropriate shock. Richie made a few measurements and had the correct shock the next day. Lesson learned, theres no substitute for good old fashion knowledge and experience.Fast forward a few months later, I sold my TJ and decided to purchase a new JL Rubicon. Mindful of protecting my new investment, Richie/Junior suggested New Hampshire Oil Undercoating. I had an appointment a few days later, and the work was fantastic! Every inch of the undercarriage was coated; even the insides of the frame rails!Very pleased with RMS and I will most certainly be returning here for future consulting and service.

RMS is the best shop on Long Island hands down!! Not only have they been around for a longtime but the pages and pages of rigs they transformed and these reviews speaks for itself. I have contemplated lifting all of the trucks Ive owned ( I usually get a new truck every 3-4 years ) but never had the guts (b#lls) to actually pull the trigger ) so instead I always had Richie install the biggest tires I could without rubbing. The joy of my new look would always end when I would roll up to a lifted rig though, Wa wa waaaa!! Lmao.Anyway as the years went on I would talk to friends ,coworkers and just guys I would meet who had lifted trucks, some who were lifted by the other shops but most which were done at RMS and it became clear, these guys really are the real deal,story after story of guys who were happy with them and their work, not so with the other shops, but still I was afraid it would change the factory ride, or void the warranty. When I started shopping for a new truck this year I started seeing brand new awesome looking lifted rigs sitting on showroom floors and lots, first at a GMC dealership then at Toyota.. RMS stickers on both trucks!!. I spoke to both dealers and asked if the trucks were fully covered under the factory warranty since the modifications were done to them ,they both assured me the factory warranty was not affected as the work was performed by their authorized installer with a proven track record. Soon afterward I bought my Toyota Tundra 1794 and booked my lift with RMS.. he was booking 2 months out,and the wait felt like a year, but before long I dropped it off ..and sooner than promised , the call came from Richie, Your truck is ready, and it looks sick! I WAS PUMPED!!! Its been a few months now and 5000 miles and the truck is everything I wanted ,I COULDNT BE HAPPIER !! I actually think it rides better than factory, goes through the snow like a champ, and at 70 mph can take my hand off the wheel and see its still perfectly aligned. I cant stop looking at it, and constantly get compliments on it. Richie and Richie Jr you guys are the best, I cant thank you two enough, I look forward to our future projects!! Thanks again guys.
