Beautiful, authentic Italian restaurant tucked away off US1. Service was top notch. Not sure if family owned or not but you feel part of the family soon as you arrive. The free bread was delicious as was the soup. My entree was very good as well. An absolute must-try is the ricotta cheese cheesecake, you won’t want regular cheesecake ever again! A little pricey for everything, but an overall fantastic experience.

It was a great experience and food was great, help made us feel like we were part of the family. It was very cost friendly and wine selection and prices were fantastic. Good Job we will be back !!!

Delicious food, but very expensive. We had asked for mussel appetizer for my elderly mother who only eats a little, and instead of being charged for an appetizer, we were charged for a dinner. Any substitutions are a la carte.

The service was decent and my wife’s vesl Marcella was delicious. My Veal Parmesan was extremely salty and my son rigatoni alla vodka was horrible. His words, the worst rigatoni alla vodka I have ever eaten. My wife and I both tasted his dish and it was horrible. The dish tasted like bacon grease and the wait did nothing about it when he seen my don didn’t eat his pasta.We will never go back!!

I always like to try new food and a friend of mine told me about this place. The food wasnt good at all, It was cold and plain and especially the salmon I ordered it was super salty. When we finished our food and got our bill I pulled out a gift card my friend gave me that was 100 dollars worth of food. The server proceeded to come back with the gift card and throw it on the table saying that they wouldnt accept these anymore. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. I can understand if my giftcard was expired but that still doesnt excuse the fact that he threw it on the table and raised his voice at me. The person was called Enzo. we paid the bill but we arent planning on coming back. Very unsatisfied.

An exquisite veal Marsala!!!!! Pairs super well with their glass of amarone. The best veal Marsala I’ve had in awhile and the service was wonderful. Our server was funny, attentive and very responsive to our needs (we were a large party).

The food was amazing, but the thing that made it the best was the customer service!

In Italy you can get a wonderful dinner for $10--pasta, main course, salad--all of it simple and delicious. Positano reminds me of those meals. Everything is just right. The only real difference is you should expect Bocca prices. But it is worth it.

Just returned from the best Italian Veal Masala meal I have ever been served! The veal could easily be cut with a fork and the large portions were topped with many mushrooms. Delicious! The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. Well be telling our friends and taking our visitors there.

Salvador is the best waiter ever. Food was outstanding. Antipasto was amazing and the veal and sausage and peppers were moth watering. Second time here..if I could give it 6 stars I would .

This Italian restaurant was the real. My husband and I order Lobster Ravioli and I have to say it was the best we ever had. The Caesar salad was fresh and green with the right amount of dressing on it the only thing I would have done differently to the salad is instead of shredded parmasan cheese I would have had chipped the cheese. It was a bit of a wait for the food so you may want to order a appetizer if you are very hungry. We went on a Saturday around 6:30pm it was very busy. The wait staff was clean, professional and polite. We are from the Orlando area so its very rare we find a great place to eat thank you for making this experience worth the wait time. Even though we waited more then a hour for our food I gave five stars because the food was delicious.

I absolutely love this place. They are very friendly, the food is incredible and they even have something for the kids. We have been coming here for 2 years now and it never disappoints.

I went here for a party that was a volunteer appreciation dinner for the Changing Lives homeless assistance organization. The food was good. The best part of the meal was when Mr. Batmasian told the folks who werent part of the party, who were there eating in the same room, to be quiet while he spoke. That was funny. He goes Were trying to save some lives here - can you please be quiet. I love that guy - one of my favorite people in Boca. Hes also their landlord. Its good chow - go here. Enjoy!

Came in for dinner and was told there were no tables available when there were plenty of open tables. Other people came in at the same time and were seated. Clearly they pick and choose who they want to serve. Thank you for showing me who you are so I didnt waste my money in your establishment.

Good solid menu with several options. The service is excellent. My only issue is the lack of spices used. It is a personal thing with me.

Positano offers authentic Italian food at a moderate price. Long Island transplant restauranteurs opened the spot which offers tasty fish options and yummy salads. The pasta sauce was a bit salty, and service was slow on a busy Saturday night, but it was a decent experience overall.

Food is excellent. Service was great. Liked The spacing of The tables for indoor dining.Many choices for The 3 course special dinner.

This place has gone way done. I personally believe it has changed owners and bought by a sub shop. Our dinner was a collection of frozen veal, shrimp, Campbells tomato soup and Tabasco sauce.

The only reason I give 1 star is because I cant give zero stars. The host is extremely rude. I suppose we didnt meet his approval because we were told there were no tables available yet, but other people have got table while they arrived after us. Obviously on the back of hes mind he have an idea what type of people we are. Shame on him.It could have been worse spending hundreds of dollars in an place like this, and with no respect.

Without question, Positanos is one of my favorite restaurants in Boca Raton. The Italian cuisine here rivals some of the best Ive ever had whether in or out of Italy. As a former international pilot and an owner of nearby Pedego Electric Bikes in The Tower & Shoppes at Sanctuary, we are very fortunate to have them as neighbors. Everything on the menu is exceptional. Kudos to the owner, chef and waiters for making Boca even a better place to live!

Our friends introduced my wife and myself to Positanos last night 6/20/20. We were thoroughly impressed with this restaurant . Not only was the food excellent the wait staff all were wearing masks and were extremely attentive to every detail. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be back.

A little over priced.

Love the vibe of this restaurant reminds me of being in Italy, authentic home-made Italian favorites and some different styles of salads and some calamari and shrimp pastas that are phenomenal. Have a reservation.

The ambience of the restaurant is very Italian even one of the waitress is from Italy and he addresses to you speaking English and Italian mixed. The food taste and presentation is more like homemade than high end cuisine which I liked, the service is very good and all waitresses were very nice, price wise I think is good considering the amount of food that they offer, you can calculate like 30 dollars per person without drinks of course. If you want to eat italiana food and want to feel that you are in Italy somehow give it a try you will not be disappointed. Thanks for reading my comment.

The food is really good, but this place has the worst service. They are so rude, they could care less about good customer service. Then host is absolutely the rudest person you will ever come across. We have a reservation and he basically ignored us, we didnt want to sit outside and he said tough, you dont like it you can leave. We were hungry so we stayed but we were floored of how little they care about new business

Went in to eat tonight and they told me they were full, half the restaurant was empty. A couple came in right behind me and they didn’t have a reservation but got a table. I feel they discriminated against me because of my service dog. Horrible people.

Love this resteraunt! The food is always very good, the waitstaff is the best. Most serving are very gracious in size, I find myself bringing home some for later. They have a decent wine list as well. The outside patio is very cozy and pleasant.

The food and ambiance was great. However, a few bites into my pasta, there was something thin and hard that I bit into. It looked like a twist tie, but the server realized it was a piece of steel wool from a scrubbing brush and he immediately got me a new pasta. It tasted great, but at the end of that meal, AGAIN I tasted something hard. This time it was a little rigid black ROCK. We were shocked and confused but very calm. The server seemed upset and showed the manager, but NONE of our meal was comped. The manager didn’t speak to us at all. We saw him walking around too. We paid full price with no offer for a gift card or even an explanation. It was such unfortunate service from a place with such good food. There’s no excuse for such a lack of consideration for their customers.TLDR: Weird things in food TWICE with no compensation or explanation.

Excellent service and food. We visited this cozy Italian restaurant in east Boca on mothers day. The menu was prefix due to the Holiday. Everyone was very happy with their meals. The Veal Chop with Arugula Salad was excellent. The tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had.

Always busy, good Italian food, entrees come with salad and pasta. The bread basket has several options. When it is nice out they have a front patio for dining. Because it is busy it is best to make a reservation. The house salad is really good.

My mother and I have gone to Positano for years. We are there practically every week. Thursday was my Birthday. They couldnt have made me feel less special on that day. They never even acknowledged that it was my Birthday even though when making the reservation i told them. What would it have taken to stick a candle in a piece of cake. I dont frequent a restaurant that shows me such disrespect. We go out 5 nights a week for dinner. I dont need to dine there. It was my mistake we have gone to Gazebo for the last 20 years on my Birthday.
