Matthew told me that my cashiers check that my bank overnighted was the best phony he’d ever seen. He said he never heard of the bank which was Center State Bank in Florida with 120 branches three of them in Boca. He deemed the check to be no good and refused to take it to any bank.I was on my way to Punta Cana in the Dominican republic so we had a cashiers check overnighted, as I was not in Sarasota to sign a wire transfer. When I returned to Sarasota 14 days later I went to my bank got a copy of the cashiers check which was perfectly good, and then posted a notorized bond from the bank so that Matthew couldn’t cash it at a later date. H e told me he would send it back to me with the word void on it ,he hasn’t ,it’s been three weeks. I don’t know why he chose me for this but he did this to me he could just easily do it to someone else .I think he’s a slimy businessman. I am prepared to post copies of both of the check and the bond canceling the check .

Matthew green jewlers deserves negative stars. I bought a ring from him 4 years ago and he promised me it was the best option for both my money and holding its value. It is gia certified and authenticated by him. I went back to him after separating with my ex and he not only refused to buy it back but tried offering me 60% less then what I paid him for it. When I mentioned a trade for a watch he just danced around the question and wouldnt make it right; selling me for hours on how it was the market of diamonds the last four years. I did additional research that deemed his statements useless. Dont trust matt. He will convince u to pay an inflated price of a worthless diamond and if youre selling to him he will devalue your item stating its not unique or that he has so many of them he will pay you below wholesale value. Dont waste your time
