Workers are AWESOME. My issue lies in the price you are paying for the quality if product. Paid more than $50 for an adult sized spider man costume. The zipper busted when it was being unzipped to be tried on.

Great place to get all of your Halloween decorations. Large selection of costumes and awesome animatronics..!! Will be back earlier next year for our yard display.

Cannot say much about the store, as after checking the store hours on Google, and seeing that it was updated 5 days before by the business, I took my kids to boardman for their Halloween stuff, confident theyd be open until 11pm. We showed up at 915 to find the doors locked. The manager came out because another customer who had just left the store forgot her purse inside and was knocking on the door. He did allow the girl to get her purse but stated the store was closed. Why update hours of operation and then not be open when it your corporate website says you are? Very disappointing and big waste of gas and time.

Wow… so we were at the Boardman spirt store checking out and were made aware of a 25% off coupon just as our transaction was going through. After the credit card transaction was processed we asked if we could have a price adjustment. The store manager “poppy” came up to us and said no he’s not doing that because it’s against policy to return something within 24 hours of purchasing it.We then asked him why we couldn’t just get the price adjustment and he said because he won’t do it because were still in the store. I asked can we walk out and come back in and he said “no” because he sees us.I went back in 10 minutes later to ask if we could just do the price adjustment again so we didn’t have to come back and he raised his voice and nearly started yelling at me in front of other customers saying that he already told me no and he was would not lose his job over it. I was calm and rational and he was the one raising his voice and nearly yelling at me after spending $200 and asking for a price adjustment.I cant believe the store manager nearly yelled at me after spending money in his store and trying apply discount. I highly recommend upper management double checks their choices for store management.

5 year old had an emergency bathroom stop with 6 kids all buying costumes the lady said sorry no bathrooms... REALLY! So I had to drop all my stuff and leave! So disappointed!

Screw Spirit of Halloween in Boardman we were just denied entry to the store, told there was a tornado warning, and we should seek shelter... Really? Where? In my car?

Overpriced garbage and very poor service

Decent store. They had lots of nice decor and costumes. The store was kind of messy but we figured it was a busy weekend and they didn’t have much staff to properly clean up. The girl at the register was awesome, though didn’t catch her name. She was so nice she gave us a 20% off coupon if we donated for the children. I wish we caught her name to applaud her! Make sure to donate when you go in and ask for the coupon it’s worth it!!

This store is very well organized.They carry fall, Halloween, party, and even bridal and anniversary items, with great selections and fantastic customer help and service! I will be back !!! Very friendly employees!

We love Halloween and stop here every season it’s open! Great location. Covid guidelines followed and such. We come in here quite a few times during the season staff was pleasant for the most part although I wish they could show us where things are rather than point to a general area but it’s fine I suppose. We know all about the spirit of children And have donated every year. The only thing I highly dislike is the way it’s asked to you. Your staff should NOT be asking “what would you like to donate” and point at the sign. For 1 what if someone don’t know what it is and 2 Id find it insulting if I wasn’t in the right position to donate. Sometimes people can only afford what they are buying at the moment. The way the woman was asked in front of me in line today was very rude you could tell she really was uncomfortable with the situation and having to say no with a line behind her MULTIPLE times yet your staff kept hammering a donation. This makes me not want to donate at all when we come in. Please stop this it’s not right and should not be allowed.

There is a huge selection of costumes for everyone. They have crazy Halloween items you can not find anywhere else. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The store was clean and organized, so everythings easy to find. The stores open untill 11. Which is great for last minute shopping. I will definitely be back and recommend it.

Wish it had more animatronics up. Not as spooky as usual and they dont utilize the whole store floor area. Its curtained off. It would be cool if the whole old Toys R Us was filled with Halloween decor and costumes!

This place is way better than most Halloween stores Ive been to over the years. Also the fact that they take donations to local childrens hospital is a plus in my book. 100 percent of the proceeds go to having a Halloween party for kiddos that cannot make it to the kids or treat sits ok with me:) People that complain that they have to spend a long time in this store would never be a complaint of mine. I could spend all day in here! Ill be there Nov 1st to buy a bunch of stuff to prepare for next Halloween:)

I wish I could give a lower rating. Spirit Halloween is ripping people off via creative pricing.Ex: size xl costume $25.99, then the we find the same character, same vendor in a size small $44.99!!!!! I brought it to the attention of the Manager who stated, the price must have gone up, but the items hadnt been ipdated.... Really??!!!!

Priced alittle high and sizes run little small but you will find a good costume for kids or adult.

Large selection...welcoming staff. Everything was organized well and easy to find.

Ordered online 10 days ago and my animatronic has still not arrived. Cant get in contact with the 1 866 number. No one will answer. Spent 52 minutes on hold for there automated service to say sorry no-one is available and hung up on me. Terrible company with worse support.

You can tell these employees are seasonal help and under paid. They are rude and uneducated. They know nothing about their product. If you ask them a question they’ll just continue to repeat the same thing. Don’t touch the dressing room counter or the lady will ask you to remove your hands and tell you she needs her space. It’s going to be a huge deal to ask the employees anything. Don’t waste your time. Order online or off amazon. If you do come in express to spend an hour or so. I waited in line for over 20 minutes.

The staff in the past has been absolutely incredible but whoever the manager is now is a whole mess. Bribing people to donate to their charity instead of answering what it is is so sketch.

Awful store. Everything was over priced. They wouldnt let me return a few items after I spent 100 dollars there for 6 items. They told me I couldnt return only can exchange. They stopped doing returns after the 18 of October but didnt inform me of that said I should of read the receipt. I asked to speak to the district manager she was nasty and rude on the phone when I told her that most people do returns she said that Wal-Mart doesnt. Ive been calling customers service for two days now been on hold left message and voicemails still no response. Wouldnt recommend anyone to come here. Go next door to party place they are much cheaper and have nicer staff.

This store is so expensive but it is still one of our favorite things about Halloween! Okay selection but I wish they have more in stock. All of the pennywise merchandise was gone in a week.
