I’ve never been with Spirit Halloween store, I was thoroughly surprised with an large amount of Halloween costumes, even two days before Halloween. Staff was very kind and helpful to us.

I really like this store and the variety of products. The prices are great and the staff is friendly.

As I walked up, the guy outside (who looked like he was on a break) stood up and opened the door for me and my stroller. While shopping, I swear I was asked 10 times if I needed any help. (which judging from the reviews) some people seem to forget is called customer service. See if you get that kind of help anywhere else. They helped me find everything I needed and WAY more. I went way over budget but just kept smiling and laughing because of one of the ladies that was working. And when I got to the register the cashier had me rolling with her Vanna White impersonation pointing out the pictures of kids of the donations the are collecting. (anyone who does not donate to kids in the hospital is a monster). And finally while leaving several people told me to have a great day. And it really truly felt like they meant it.unfortunately they couldnt come home with me and explain to my spouse why I went in for a couple costumes and walked out with a car fully loaded with stuff.

If you shop here, be prepared to be harassed, at the register, repeatedly, by the high school employees, to donate. After I was asked 3 times to donate, after I said no, repeatedly, I was told, that they really care, about the children, implying, that I dont. Im a teacher and a parent. Management needs to do some serious training, on how to treat customers with respect. Next time, were shopping, elsewhere. Ive read the reviews. Apparently, you pull this ridiculous and rude stunt, with all of your customers. Shame on you, for harassing your customers to donate, after theyve specifically, said no, just for your tax write-off.

🥰🥰 i totally adore the costumes this year *oh my gosh*😁I accidentally got the wrong size in my daughters costume and they let me exchange it without a giant hassle even though i couldnt find my receipt, they looked it up for me! Definitely one of the best stores for a friendly and helpful experience!!

This location is by far the most stocked and they seem really busy most of the time, Im surprised at how well they keep up! Whenever i checked out, the young ladies behind the counter were apparently trying to help soothe an autistic child whom was caught off guard by one of the animatronics and was too frightened to even walk back through. I felt so bad but they were really nice and even turned them off completely for the childs comfort. I guess its worth noting that if you have someone with you that has auditory sensitivities I encourage you to ask an associate for assistance and they will do whatever they can to help make it a fun experience rather than a frightening one! The sweetest staff in any spirit Ive ever encountered! God bless them❤

One of the busier stores compared to independence and way more stuff too. I really hope they get more home decor in because thats exclusively what i have dedicated my paychecks to😜

Sold out of everything. Even online. They bug you over and over again to donate, even when I told her I donated last time. Then she got rude because I wouldnt donate. Super rude.

Accused of stealing, felt so uncomfortable. I asked them to check my purse and they didn’t. They didn’t apologize. Will never go there again

They followed us around like we were crooks and forced masks when the store next door did not ..... prices also up from last year.

Do not buy from here. We bought a 50 dollar costume that we couldn’t try on in store. Which is fine but when we got home my daughter tried it on and it was to big so she took it off put it back in the bag and we brought it back. To exchange. The lady said it had an odor and that they couldn’t not except it for a. Return or exchange. I could understand if I had this costume for a few days but it hasn’t even been 24 hrs. Very unprofessional and will not be coming back someone else can have my 200 I spent from now on.

Great for all ages ,great finds ,awesome personal , Ive shopped here for many years and now my haunted yard is full of many props and Ill keep shopping here and buy so much more. I love spirit Halloween its my little playground

I was accused of stealing because of profiling based upon my appearances. When confronted about an object I put back, there was no apology given. I’ve lived in several states and none of which were ever this rude. It’s sad to say in a city such as this in the middle of the Midwest, that they’ve come to profiling such as this. I’ll never visit this location again. I’m very frustrated with my service. Not to mention, I did purchase several items. Well worth over the cost of what I was accused of stealing.

2nd time in the store was followed around made it uncomfortable to shop. Did not feel welcomed

Was forced to donate money, after I was asked and said no. They also took it upon themselves to round my amount up without asking.

Staff was unhelpful and on their phones the entire time I was there, then when I was checked out they rounded up my purchase with a donation without my permission
