Horrible place to go. My recent visit has been nothing short of a disaster. I went in for a routine annual exam and a pair of glasses. At first I was excited to get my glasses but that excitement quickly left when I realized that I could not see out of my glasses. I made them aware of this and was told that they would adjust them for me but how was that going to solve anything they were way too strong for my eyes. Fast forward 5 visits later and i still have a pair of glasses that I cant see out of. They have returned them to the lab once and refuse to do it again . I have paid over 100 dollars and there is no way this is right.

I was very pleased with all staff members. They seem happy to work for the doctors at Meyer Eye Care. The doctors are exceptional there. They are interested in my eye health and share the results of the testing with me. The office is unique as it is housed in the Blue Island Opera House with great parking on Western Avenue or in the lot behind the office. They are known for their great selection of eyewear.

Best eye care facility Ive ever visited. They offer state of the art technology. The staff was friendly and Dr. Ahrens was so knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to me. My experience was 2021 technology with old school patient care. I have found my eye care home

What a hidden gem this practice is!! A beautiful, boutique with high-end designer frames. Dr. Jill, Dr. Dan and the staff are professional, kind and compassionate....and at appropriate times, even fun! This is not your average optometry office, it is far more. The technological advances in testing and treatments are impressive! You get an in-depth exam, like no other. Test results are explained to you in great detail by the doctors and you feel so very informed when you leave that appointment. I highly recommend giving Meyer Eyecare a try for your optical needs!!

We had anxieties having his eyes examined with his sensory issues / speech delays, but Dr.Ahrens and the staff were incredible. Easy to work with, thorough and comforting. Where do I begin ??? The staff is courteous and helpful. My appointment time was on time meaning I was taken care of as soon as I walked in the door. Steps were taken to assure precautions were in place regarding safety and health concerns. The eye exam was thorough and Millie took the time to make sure I was pleased with my frames and lens specifications. My glasses were ready for pick up right around the time predicted and the fitting was scheduled with full and complete satisfaction . I highly recommend Meyer Eyecare . You wont be disappointed.

I just recently found out aboutMeyer Eye care and Im so glad that I did! I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ingelse, she was so very pleasant and VERY knowledgeable. I was in the exam room with my +70 year old Daddy. I hadnt yet told her what the previous Drs stated and she found it right away and then some! After seeing how patient and thorough she was with my Dad I told her that Id be back along with my kids and grandkids! Id definitely go and check them out!

Poor service, waiting for a prescription for over one week for elderly mother. Today, they said they would call me by the end of day, they did not. I dont blame the Frontline staff, our family blames the owners. They should inform all patients, that their computer system was down earlier in the week. If this was my ophthalmologist, this would never happen.

Love it here! The staff is friendly every time I call or bring my son in for adjustments. Customer service is excellent. Doctor explains tests and scans in language that I understand. Not once has she let us leave without fully understanding procedures or treatment. Highly recommend!

I took my 8 year old son, and this is our 3rd eye doctor, we absolutely loved it, I was a little worried because its a small business owned and thought they wouldnt be up to date on equipment but they had more advanced equipment than the other two bigger businesses we have been to. Not only that they had so much patience with my son and absolutely nice to us and very knowledgeable with my sons condition which the other two locations didnt and I was so worried I actually was going to go to our physician to get referred to a specialist but with the COVID-19 we been delayed going to our physician. Highly recommended Meyer Eyecare.

Dr. Jill is phenomenal! I have astigmatism in my eye and it’s very difficult to find contacts that work! Instead of giving up and telling me to wear glasses, she is nothing but determined to find me the best pair, spending extra time to find the right fit. She is also wonderful with children and has helped my anxious daughter feel comforted to the point where she looks forward to going to the eye Dr.

My first time here and it’s awesome . Everyone is beyond amazing with friendly service. They explained everything to me in a way I was able to understand and i never felt like they where pushing me to get something I didn’t need. As someone who reads reviews for help , I highly recommend them.

The staff at Meyer Eye Care exhibit the epitome of customer service and treat their customers with such professionalism and genuine care. I am very impressed with how this clinic and all its staff take the safety and well-being of their patients during this COVID crisis. Masks were mandatory throughout the visit, and there was hand sanitizer available as soon as you entered. There was a short wall of plexi-glass at the front desk as an additional barrier. We were quickly taken into our exam room and didnt need to wait in any waiting area. My 6-year old had her annual exam, and despite all the safety measures in place, we both felt comfortable and at ease throughout our visit. The technician was friendly and cheerful, and patiently answered all of my daughters questions. Dr. Ingelse is simply amazing! She has so much knowledge and expertise in her field and it shows! She even remembered details about my daughter, whom she hasnt seen for 2 years! I was really worried about my daughters sudden onset of blurry eyesight, but with Dr. Ingelses thorough evaluation, my fears were quickly eased. The eye glasses technician was also wonderful! She patiently helped my daughter pick out her glasses and gave us very helpful feedback when glasses were too large for her face or if the nose piece wouldnt sit well on her face. She also offered my daughter a toy from the toy chest at the end of our visit, which was a great way to end our already awesome appointment. My whole family will be coming to see Dr. Ingelse for years to come!

Great customer service. Fast but compassionate. Half hour and your done with all tests, seeing doctor. Unfortunately you will need to reserve more time to pick your glasses, because they have a lot to choose from ....

The care here has always gone far above any place weve ever gone. They never just rush you in or out, and always thoroughly check everything. The entire staff is kind and courteous.

Ive been going to Meyer for 10 years now and I wouldnt think of leaving. Everyone on staff is wonderful, patient, and very friendly. I just started bringing my daughter for her own exams since shes school age and she loves it as well! She walks right in and plays until our appointment and she enjoys the interactions and is very comfortable being there no fears or worries! I Love Them its always a great appointment- never there all day. And the office is welcoming, clean, and comfortable as well. The glasses selection is GREAT and reasonably priced. If you need an eye doctor this is an excellent one!

I love this place!!! The doctors and the staff are extremely friendly and really help with your Eyecare needs. Their frames are a tad bit pricey, but they have some wonderful selections. Last time I was there I couldn’t make upmy mind, but the staff was extremely helpful and was very patient with me. Please try them out. You will be satisfied too....

The thing that I experienced with Meyer eyecare was they are not the typical office that is only concern about fitting you with glasses, but they are about total Eyecare. Making sure your eyes are healthy. The exams are not just for fitting glasses,but making sure your eyes are well. They take extreme care in checking for the welfare and safety of your sight.
