This place is wonderful. They have good quality harp strings for very reasonable prices. They even knotted my string for me!!!!!! Their music selection for lever harps is very nice, too. I cant recommend this place enough.

Vanderbilt Music Company had exactly what I needed and it was shipped quickly and with care! I highly recommend this store.

I had heard very positive things about Vanderbilt music but they have far exceeded our expectations! We were looking to get a pedal harp for our daughter and from the first phone call with Michelle Abbott we knew we had found the perfect place. She came from the perspective of both a performer and teacher and knew exactly what our daughter needed. I had spoken with about a half dozen other stores and none had her perspective, or took as much time to ask questions about what we were looking for and to answer all of mine! She set up a rental plan for us with the option to (hopefully) buy the harp in a few months. And as for the harp, we absolutely LOVE it! It sounds and looks amazing! Our daughter is in harp heaven. :-) Also, Michelle went above and beyond to get the harp to us even sooner than we imagined. We are so thrilled to have found Vanderbilt and have a place we can depend on for future harp related needs. (I can say with confidence that they will be getting our future business with strings and music, etc!) :-)

I wish every business were as customer friendly as Vanderbilt Music. That would make my life much easier! I contacted them on the recommendation of our harp teacher when I needed to buy a set of strings and have returned to them several times for small items (such as music) and large items (such as a transport cover). I have an antique harp that is not a standard size, and Michelle has been incredibly helpful in guiding me through what types of strings to use and what size transport cover to purchase. She has solved many of the challenges I faced when we first got our harp, and even found a tuning key that could fit between the tight pins (and for a good price). Michelle is not only very knowledgeable, and a harpist herself, but also very accessible by phone, email, and text. I highly recommend Vanderbilt Music.

Were here in California and Michelle provided exceptional service to us over the phone and via email. We felt she was genuinely interested in helping us find the right harp, not just to make a sale. She was courteous, prompt, and extremely informative every step of the way. Our harp teacher in the SF Bay area also praised Vanderbilt and said she trusts them. Harp shopping is difficult in person and even more so long distance. Michelle manages the company well and is fantastic!

I went in to pick up some strings last week. The staff is friendly and, since there usually arent a lot of people in the store, theyre quick to help you get what you need. Id recommend going into the store if youre nearby so you dont have to pay shipping. Also, you get a 10% discount for ordering a full octave of strings, so take advantage of that offer if you can.

Im intrested in purchasing a Harp and I called this company to find out more information. They have wonderful staff who are willing to help out and are very knowledgeable about their products. Good products, friendly and professional staff. Ive ordered harp strings here several times before and not yet have had a defected string. I used to get strings from Lyon and Healy, but started having a heck of a time with them constantly breaking for some reason. Ill be ordering them through Vanderbilt Music from now on!

Super helpful staff! I bought my first harp here a few years ago and plan to go through Vanderbilt to order my next one.

Their customer service person operates using different names. Calls himself sometimes Penny Duersken, sometimes Penny Trisler. Absolutely negligent in responsibilities.They charge you without your authorization, they even dont provide you the invoice or total for review before charging you. Moreover, they put extra items into the invoice - you dont receive them, but you pay for them. And they dont refund...Stay away from Vanderbilt when possible. Unfortunately, something bad happened with their service.
