So far so good. Reservation was easy. Move in was easy and the units are nice. Great security. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Best storage facility Ive used so far. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were both helpful, kind, and patient as I struggled financially after losing my job and was unemployed for several months, due to the COVID-19 shutdowns in 2020.The facility is always well maintained and clean, as I see it. I highly recommend this facility for all your storage needs!

Got totally scammed. They gave me a good discount on a 5x10 unit and then gave it away to someone else with zero notice, forcing me to pay $350 extra for a 10x10 on the day of my move-out.

I find this place very convenient and clean. Well maintained and apparently secure. Just wish they gave the military discount to veterans as well as active duty, or at least disabled veterans. Otherwise, very friendly and accommodating staff on the phone and locally.

Was only there for a few minutes to pick up something I bought from market place.They had an automatic gate, but it was simply in the open position. Anyone could get in. So, not the most secure place to keep your things.

This was not my first experience using Extra Space Storage. Like my last in another state, I found it a very positive experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. They showed they really cared and helped me lease a space before I arrived in town. The facility is clean and the lighting is great making me feel very welcomed and safe!

Ok place..nice people. I just got a notice my rate was going up $30 next month...only a few months into renting. My last storage unit NEVER increased my rate in over 2 years with them. Not happy! I guess there have been many lawsuits against this company related to this practice. I will be looking elsewhere for storage.

Joel was extremely helpful and nice over the phone when explaining the process, paperwork, and features of the unit. I was able to put in an online request for a storage unit at 10:15 am and begin loading items into the unit by 11:30 am same day! The unit was clean and easily accessible for loading/unloading. Additionally, they have locks, mattress bags, and packing materials available for purchase in the office. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for month-to-month storage in Bloomington.

I can’t remember the ladies name but she was really very helpful & very very nice! She helped me with all the questions I had & went over everything to where I could understand it!

It was great that we could get one in under 15 mins, the first month was free even, but the price after that fist month will be $238/ month afterwards for a 10 x15 unit whereas their competitors offer that same space for less but are harder to get a hold of.

1st off be ready to be asked 100x to give reviews before you get put the door. Little excessive but now I wonder if they are tryin to improve their stats.So not happy with their exit service. Rented a rv spot n called to give them notice. Was told I would not get refund for partial month, 100% ok with that but then was asked when i could be out so they could double rent the spot as many people wanted it. I said no I would keep it till end of my term. Well i guess she forgot as she called 2 weeks later wanting another month rent. She apologized n stated she forgot .. named the computer system but would take care of it. Fast forward a month, now Im getting calls from collection agency. Agressive either pay or get lawyer... wow.Now I have to wait 2 days for a call back from office. There is zero ways for them to compensate for my troubles for their mistakes.I dont recommend extra space. Plus there is a better place near by... cheaper with paved parking. Do your research.

Every nice staff! We are moving in a hurry and I was able to quickly and efficiently reserve a storage unit on their website then came into the office and paid the deposit. Moving from Idaho back to Indiana in four days with no place to live was hard enough. The Extra Space Storage Team were friendly, courteous, helpful, and even followed up with me twice to make sure I would have someone there to check me in whenever we arrive and received the cheapest available prices. Friendly people that made it easy for me to store my things. There was a gap of two weeks between my leases so I needed to store my stuff. I had only rang a few days in advance and it was during the busy time of May. They were happy to accomodate and said if I wished to skip the chaos come in earlier and so I did.I didnt know how much I would be storing since I would also being buying a bunch of stuff not until I moved in. When I went to look I started with a small size and they asked if I thought it was enough I was unsure and said maybe I should take a look at a medium, I was asked how much I was storing and based on what I said they told me to stick with the small. It was good to see they were not just trying to get me to spend the most amount but that it was a good fit for me.Would use again if needed.

Was on line when talking to manager and was quoted a price of $127 monthly but on line price was $77. They obviously had no intention of offering me a lower price until I call them on it. Promised rate for as long as I rent the space until I got to the office to sign the contract then was told they will change it if they want. Pressured to purchase insurance I did not need and was actually initially told it was required. It is not in fact required. Facility is clean but I can imagine they pressure people to get more money.ADDiTION: I currently rent a storage unit here and when I began doing business with this company I was guaranteed one rate and that it would be my rate for the entire time I rented the unit. Now six months into the rental they have raised the price of my storage unit. When I ask why the Manager said that I was never guaranteed a fixed rental rate. He apparently felt I was lying to him about what I was told by his employee when I rented the unit. Now since it is the dead of winter and I have no way to immediately empty the unit they have me over a barrel. I strongly recommend you do NOT rent a storage unit from these people.

Starting online, the website was easy to navigate, and all the information I was looking for was readily available, including price. I was able to immediately talk to a representative online, who answered all my questions. I rented a unit and got a call within 5 minutes from Joel, the manager on site. He set up a time to meet that day, allowing us to immediately begin using our unit. We met him at the facility and he found us a unit. Of note, the first unit had endured hail damage and had a leak, so he immediate found us another one with no delay. Once he made sure the unit was what we needed, he took us to sign our lease, explaining everything and answering every question. Amazing customer service!!!! Would highly recommend!

This is the second time Ive used Extra Space and Joel has been great both times. This time I started online and made the reservation. He called me minutes after and I stopped by just after that to get everything set up. It took about an hour from the time I made the reservation until the time I left. They are always friendly when I have to deal with them.

We use Extra Space Storage on a regular basis for our ever changing storage needs, both personally and as a company owner of Don Bush Family Moving. The customer service is always top notch and I always feel that my belongings will be safe on the property. They have gate entry during hours in which a manager is not on site - if you call most of the other companies in town they dont even have an on site manager making sure things are okay. Give them a call, you wont be disappointed.

The manager is excellent and provides great customer service! The facility is very clean and very easy to access. The units are spacious and secure. They are a little more expensive because of the quality and security that is provided.
