As far as ice cream stores go, this one has very little atmosphere. Nothing memorable about it. Yeah it has ice cream, but I can also buy ice cream at Kroger.

I went to this Jiffy treat on Tues June 29, got two milkshakes medium vanilla and medium butter pecan. I was told it was 16.00 ask why oh they you have to pay tax. I suppose Mom and Pop shops, I will not suppose adding 20 percent to the bill. Look at my receipt they charge 2.43 for each shake besides the cost. yes they refund five dollars. Everyone needs to check their receipt. This place has lost my business and yes posted this on Facebook also

Wish I could stay in Bloomington a few more days so I could try more items off the awesome menu. Had the Black Raspberry ice cream. 😋 YUM!! Hope to come back!!!

It was OK. Not the best ice cream Ive ever had, but it hit the spot on a really hot, humid day. Friendly, efficient service.

One employee was nice the other seemed a little uppity or prejudice. She took one order and ignored me when I asked her a question because I was thinking of adding to my order. She just walked away acting like she did not hear me. When I tried to ask her again, she walked further away. Therefore, I waited for the other girl who was preparing the order to complete my order and then I added to my order. Although, the slush did not taste to well I tipped because the one girl was trying.

My cookie dough ice cream is amazing. I really enjoyed it they have always done a good job every single time. I will of course be back. The workers are friendly at this location. They are fast efficient and kind. Thank you again for a pleasant time and good food. Ive been going there for years.

Perfect place to celebrate firsts missing tooth. Had plenty of spaced out outdoor seating for many different groups to eat there.

No longer doing curbside pickup. We called and asked to order to our car, because customers were not social distancing in line/outside and not wearing masks. They denied our order, and said we would have to come into the store. The manager was supposed to call us and it’s been days without a call. We took our business to The Chocolate Moose, who still do curbside pickup!

With great safety and social distancing practices in place, it was a nice treat to stop in for milkshakes for my kids and a Turtle Sundae for me! No pics, it was hot and we didnt want to let the deliciousness melt.

Great staff and quality ice cream

The cyclones at Jiffy Treat are amazing. Lots of mix-ins to customize and make your own creation. They also have a little selection of sandwiches and fries. I find the prices to a little on the high side. We payed almost $20 for a cyclone, parfait, and a scoop of homemade in a cup. But how can you put a price on bliss?

As you might expect in a place that specializes in desserts it is awesome. In addition the normal ice cream, they have vegan alternatives that are quite good. They also have just about every ice cream mix in you can think of. The staff is always polite and even though it is frequently busy they are fast. I highly recommend Jiffy Treet.

Best tasting ice cream in town! Tiny space, but they work quickly to complete orders. When they weigh my cone I wonder if they would actually add to or take off some ice cream if it wasnt exact.

The ice cream is a bit expensive but it is very delicious. It has outdoor seating. It also has indoor seating. It has many flavors including Superman, cookies and cream, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and cheesecake.

Their hurricanes (or whatever they call it, the ice cream mixed with a whole bunch of toppings and whatnot) are amazing. My favorite ice cream spot in Bloomington. It’s a little bit pricey, but you get a LOT of ice cream even if you order a small size.

We have never had a problem here until tonight. The man must have been fairly new or really just doesnt care. We ordered 2 small cyclones and a sundae and 5 other people behind us got there orders before us. And my cyclone was supposed to be a turtle cyclone and it was literally vanilla ice cream ( which I dont like just vanilla ice cream ) with 3 pieces of graham crackers and 4 or 5 pieces of chocolate. I now know why I always get ice cream on a cone...ugh

The ice cream was really good. My grandson tried rainbow sherbet float with sprite. He really enjoyed it. I thought it was a little pricey. Other than that it was a nice place.

A Bloomington treasure. Great homemade and soft serve ice cream. Friendly staff. Lots of options from sundaes to blizzards. They also have a sugar free option with lots of flavors. Highly recommend.

I like to hit this place on a really hot day. It has a lot of unique ice cream treats on the menu, perfect for cooling off and satisfying your guilty pleasure. My only gripe is the sub-par customer service, but that seems hard to find anywhere today.

People were giving weird looks, donno y, other than that, fine.

Definitely a fan but last week we received really poor service at this location. The person working the register got snippy when I pulled out and American Express card and was very rude about his approach of telling us it wasnt accepted. I didnt mind using a different payment method but it could have been handled better. To top it off both people working stared at us while we waited for our ice cream and made us feel uncomfortable. The person who took our order was also very impatient when we were ordering even though our order was extremely simple. Probably just a single employee with a bad attitude but made me hesitant to visit this particular location again.

This jiffy treat is more like Baskin Robbins that use to o be there not jiffy treat as well all know and live theres not enough seating totally college based

Food was pretty good, but extremely slow service. I think 15 minutes to wait for 2 Coney dogs is a little ridiculous. The woman behind the cash register was not very pleasant either. Might come back to try just ice cream.

I had a Cyclone which is soft serve blended with toppings. Service was good and quick. Will be going back to try one of their homemade flavors.

Very little inside dining seating. Even less outdoor seating. Basically you get your ice cream and leave. For some reason not affiliated with Jiffy Treet even though they are spelled almost the exact same way except for one letter. The ice cream isnt bad tho and they do have a variety of options.

Specialty Sundaes are very big. More than enough for two. Ice cream was delicious. Cyclones are also huge.

I wish we had a great ice cream place on the east side of town. Unfortunately, the quality of Jiffy treat has been sloppy. Today, I saw a botched dipped cone go into a cup and still be served to a customer. Also, management is weighing ice cream in front of customers. Something is wrong when scoops cant just be scoops.I ordered a chocolate malt and was told that there was no homemade chocolate. Then, I ordered vanilla, but due to a shortage of vanilla beans, they are not making shakes with vanilla. So, I ordered a kid size cone with strawberry, but they couldnt do that either. So finally, with a watered down root beer float and a tiny swirl for my daughter we paid about $6. Wth. I know that this isnt the biggest problem in the world, but ice cream joints are a place to forget and enjoy. Cmon!

I had heard a lot about this place before going, and was super hyped about trying it. I dont think the ice cream was bad, but I think it could be better. 3 stars because it was over hyped, but prices are good/standard for ice cream.

Loved this place until yesterday evening. First issue was that I wanted a chocolate dipped cone. The dip wasnt working properly so they gave me a cup with ice-cream and the chocolate dip and cone on top in a melty mess. Should have at the very least offered a discount imo. Second and most upsetting issue: Someone (who appeared to have been drinking) walked in, bypassed the line, grabbed a spoon, walked by the OWNER and back behind the counter where he proceeded to taste multiple flavors of the homemade ice-cream with the SAME spoon (ice-cream falling off the dirty/used spoon back into the rest of the ice-cream) until an employee told him he needed to get a new spoon. Our family is thoroughly disgusted with no plans to return to this location.
