This place is pretty expensive for all the older generation that I take care of in this area.

Friendly, informative, usually fresh fried chicken. Today was the first time we wasnt happy with the chicken it because it was dry inside the & out. But will go back cant be perfect all the time.

Our server couldnt speak english very well so our orders were messed up, we asked to split the price of the pitcher and that took 3 different servers to figure out what we needed done. Our margarita was watered down tequila we couldnt finish it. Overall it was a very confusing and unpleasant experience. Wont be returning.

The chicken fingers and chicken livers here are very good. I stop in here for a snack all the time. I also like their meat department. Its always fresh and u can tell it by the taste!

This is my go to when I need to pick something up quickly. Ive recently started using their curbside and LOVE it. The orders have been done quickly and have always been correct. When they bring out the orders they have always been friendly.

I bought food for the work mini fridge. The salad went bad within 3 days, the tomatoes molded within a week and the meat which was pairie fresh, molded and went bad within 2 weeks. Everything was fridge kept, yet it all molded and went bad. Dont waste your money like I did. Their prices are higher then kroger and what shouldve been fresh food, wasnt.

It was Easter weekend and I needed a ham for Easter dinner. I couldnt find one in Bloomington so I called IGA Ellettsville and they had a large selection left. Saved my day of searching and it was delicious!

Somewhat run down, staff and customers not wearing proper masks. Some customers are also not wearing masks period. If youre on a budget, which I definitely am this place works great!

Refrigerators were down in the milk section for sure(soured milk), out of a lot of groceries in different sections.

I live in Bloomington but I drive the extra few minutes to Ellettsville to shop at IGA. I think supporting locally owned, independent businesses is important. And, this IGA provides a far better experience than Kroger or Walmart, in my opinion. For what we buy, IGA prices are usually equal to or lower than Krogers. Ill support this local franchise over a mega-corporate store any day!

Small local grocery store. Things are easy to find. Their hamburger is the best around.. Their food department is a good hot meal at a reasonable price. Their prices on. Alot of things are a bit high but the store is quite handy.I recommend the store to those who want convenience and close to home.

My mother is 91 and because of covid-19 Ive been doing her shopping and running errands for her since March. Because my mother lives in Ellettsville IGA is very convenient, its clean, well stocked and always has everything on her list. Their baked goods are top-notch and the Fried Chicken from their Deli is hard to beat! The only reason I didnt give them five stars is because, in my opinion, their items are expensive but I guess thats to be expected from a small town grocery store.

Everything is overpriced, but I dont always want to drive to Walmart or kroger. The convenience of not having to drive all the way into bloomington is worth it when I just need to pick up a couple things to cook dinner so I cant complain too much.

It was decent. No issues other than I always feel like their prices are a little high compared to nearby Krogers, Walmart, and Aldis. But it was clean, things were easy to find. Employees were friendly. No complaints from me

Usually go here for the pick 5 for 20 bucks on meat. Their prices on everything else are kind of high but at least i can get meat without going broke. Got a pack of drumsticks 2 days ago and the sell by date is tomorrow and they were packed a day before that according to the package. Opened them up and they were bad. Smelled like something had died and rotted. The selection for the pick 5 was absolutely awful too. Not sure if Im going to go back.

Fried chicken is awesome, but they cant manage to fix enough to meet the demands of their customers. Also, they act annoyed when you walk up and wait to be served, even if you smile and try to be nice. The produce section is sad, but you can usually find what you need in a pinch, which is worth not driving all the way to Kroger in Bloomington. Best chip and soda selection for a small grocery store and lots of deals if you shop whats on sale. Dont get in a hurry though because theres probably only one cashier working and theyre all as slow as molasses.

Really nice store all the shelves and meet case and everything was stocked. The store was clean that employees were really nice and helpful. The checkout line I went through there was no wait and the cashier was really really a sweet person.

Great home town grocery. Chicken livers are delicious back at the deli. The Best Meat Dept in town. Great cuts of meat and really affordable prices.

I stop by to pick up some salad and to compare prices because I read all the reviews and most said that they were a little pricey well compared to Walmart they are a little pricey but for convenience sake theyre not pricey at all some things were priced higher I agree. Overall it was a pleasant experience the shelves were abundantly filled and they had a wide selection and it was clean inside and the chicken is delicious just like other people said! The staff was even very nice and helpful. I just relocated here from Fargo North Dakota and compared to Fargo their prices are decent.

Nice small grocery store. Prices are generally higher than the bigger stores but they do have good sale prices . Not a huge selection but its convenient for me not having to drive into Bloomington.

All I gotta say is get their fried chicken in the back deli. Delicious!!! Prices on groceries are higher than other stores so I usually go here if I forgot to pick something up since its close to me. May have a small wait in line. They dont always have more than 1 lane open but overall, good small hometown grocery store. Employees are always pleasant.

This store is in a community that has a lot of low income people. Since it is the only grocery store in this community, people are stuck shopping there. They can charge what they want, so they do. They wrap up produce so you cant see if it is fresh or not & they charge premium prices. Only to find out when you unwrap it, it is old!

Their baked goods are wonderful,. Their chicken is great they have some wonderful staff.

I like little stores

IGA is a good hometown grocery store. The shelves are stocked, the store is clean, the staff and customers are friendly. It reminds me of how groceries were when I was a child. It beats Krogers hands down. I prefer an independent grocery store thats not a hippie hold-over granola grocery.

Everything here is highly processed foods. Slim fresh produce options. Very few organic options. It is the only grocery store in Ellettsville though.

Went there earlier today and the cashier was clearly sick. He was putting my luckily packaged food into the bag after wiping his nose with his hand. Glad I wasnt buying produce.

Typical small town grocery store. Everything is pretty expensive, but its worth it if you dont want to go to Wal-Mart. Also, the meat selection is better than Wal-Mart.

The credit/debit machine was malfunctioning and the cashier was pretty rude. Their prices are much higher than Kroger so going forward it will be worth going slightly out of my way to get more value for my money.

Its a little home town store, thats easy to go to and get in and out of. I love the IGA choice of product.

IGA is a store of last resort. Dusty old products and very little produce or good looking meat or dairy.
