Had two Australian black opals set by their jeweler, one bezel set and one with prongs, one silver and one gold, placed perfectly! I also had a vintage platinum ring prongs repaired with new center diamond placed flawlessly as well. Marc helped me find the diamond with the specifications I wanted and the right price, which was comparable to a stone I liked on rare carat. I recommend Hustedt for all your jewelry needs!

Took a 66 year old Omega Seamaster in for an overhaul. This is a birth year watch, so it has great sentimental value even if it is not the most expensive watch I own. Hustedt sent it off to their watchmaker for the work. It took a little while because he had to locate parts for the old watch. After it came back I wound it, set it and wore it for 6 days. At the end of that period, I checked my watch with the atomic clock and it was still within one second of the time set. I could not believe that even when new, this automatic mechanical watch could keep time like that. My compliments to Hustedt and their watchmaker. I would recommend them for work on any watch old or new.

Went to buy a new wedding band for my wife. The staff was very helpful, and even though they were incredibly busy that morning, they made sure that they took the time to check on every customer, and were very respectful in making sure that everyone was content. They answered all of our questions and were patient helping us find the right product. Prices were extremely reasonable, and we are completely satisfied with the service and with the ring.

I worked with the folks at Hustedt for about half a year trying to figure out what kind of custom ring I wanted to buy for my soon-to-be fiance and they were absolutely phenomenal. They listened to all my needs and wants and were able to custom make an entire ring as well as give me an amazing price for the stone. Definitely dont pass this little local shop up, its truly a *gem* when looking for fantastic piece of jewelry at an awesome price.

The people at Hustedts are not only my favorite jewelry store people, but they have become part of my family. In August my husband started Hospice, and I wanted an eternity ring to match my wedding ring set that we had bought last year. My sons fiance and I went to Hustedts in Bloomington on a Saturday. We got there 12 minutes after they had closed. After hearing what I wanted and why, they opened up for me and found exactly what I wanted.Later on I asked if they had any lockets for cremation ashes. They sent me pictures and Larry and I picked out a locket together.My husband died September 18th, and October 5th my Dad started Hospice. Dad passed away October 28th and then my Mom passed away November 15th.I made another trip to Hustedts to request that they make a pendant using Larrys, my Dads, and my original wedding bands. I also had my baby ring and a diamond pendant that my brother and his first wife had given me. Today I went to pickup my My Guys Circle of Love pendant. As usual they went above and beyond. Words cannot express how grateful I am for everything that they have done to find and create these beautiful pieces of jewelry that represent my lifes loves!

Best experience ever!! I went in just to browse engagement/bridal rings and Kelly helped show us some. I was not seriously looking at that moment but did find one that caught my eye. I would show up off and on and just look some more keeping an eye on the setting I liked. This went on for months. And months. Then I finally got serious. Kelly spent so much time with me in the store and in her research in choosing just the right diamond. She helped find one that wasnt too small, or too expensive. We looked at different shapes, sizes and clarity. I kept holding out for just the right one. Im sure there were times she thought I would never follow through or make a decision. She was patient and saw us through until the end. With her help I found the perfect diamond and the mounting I wanted all along. The whole staff was wonderful. William Marken Jewelers will be my jeweler for life.

We love this place. Husband went ring shopping with no knowledge about diamonds. They explained everything very well to him and made sure he understood. Never once did they make him feel uncomfortable or not wealthy enough. Doesnt matter how much money you want to spend these people will treat you like family. We have been costumers for 11 years now and dont plan on shopping anywhere else.

Great home town service at excellent value

Contacted them because their preferred relationship with my corporate office. Left a message and didnt hear back for 3 weeks. Called and spoke to another associate and had to call back a third time after not hearing from him for a week. At that point, hed didnt even remember who I was or that we had a 15 minute conversation 7 days before. After not hearing from them for another two weeks and counting, I found another jeweler.
