Ive had good experiences with Merrells in the past, which is why I bought this pair. But after just a little over a year in my current shoes, Im noticing some premature wear and failure of the interior lining. Id like to remain a loyal customer, but if quality is changing, Im afraid its time to search for another manufacturer of rugged, outdoor footwear.

Perhaps it was because we entered the store at 6:45 on Sunday, but we were neither greeted nor asked if we needed help by either of the two employees we saw. After 5 minutes looking at shoes we left. We were then told, See ya. Yup, no you wont.

The best shoe shopping experience Ive ever had. Assistant Manager Matt was very patient and his level of knowledge about the shoes and getting me the right fit (including some creative options) is outstanding. Matt was able to remember which models Id tried in which sizes; explain why I might need to try different sizes in different models (some run narrow, waterproof models fit differently, etc.); and VERY patiently help me through the process. Im sure by the time I left he felt like hed been on a 45 minute trivia quiz (since I couldnt remember everything Id tried). All of this time he was able to help other customers and keep things going with me. I will definitely be returning to this store!

The best shoe shopping experience in the Mall of America, or most other places for that matter. They treat their clients like gold. Definitely a loyal repeat customer.

I had a very good experience. I do not know the name of the girl that helped me but she was super helpful and knowledgeable. I didnt feel like she was trying to sell me but genuinely wanted me to like the shoes and have them be what I need.

Rude sales associate. Yes, we did go in right before closing but there is no reason for the way she acted. We stopped into the store on Sunday 6/10 at about 15 mins before closing. The sales lady asked us if we wanted to try some shoes on, but we told her we were still debating because we were determining if we wanted to get a men AND women’s pair of shoes. When we told her that, she didn’t not reply. Instead she turned to the side, rolled her eyes, and whispered very angrily Oh My (f word) God. I heard and saw that and was disgusted. We ran right out of there. Needless to say, we will be buying our shoes online.

Excellent products (shoes especially) and staff very helpful. Matt is the one you want taking care of you...he knows the shoes and clothing inside and out (pun intended).

An excellent place, the person who attended me was very attentive all the time.They speak Spanish so it is more convenient for Latinos to go shopping at Merrell!
