I dropped my car off Monday to get my brakes done, they had inspected and given me an estimate not even an hour later. They were done the next day and I got my car back in less than 24 hours. On top of that, the pricing was good and they were very transparent and communicative. Great shop! Definitely recommended!

I have been going to Misson Auto since I was 16 years old! Dana and his crew have always treated me amazingly. And educated me from a young age on how to care for my car! I fully trust him with my car and will always tell people to come here! Transparent with all the work they do. At age 16 Dana took me back too see the repairs he did and showed me the old parts he took of my car and they explained the need for the that repair. This is why I trust them.

I got my ac compressor fixed about a month ago. Not only did they charge less than everywhere else by a few hundred dollars but they also changed my oil and came in on their day off to finish the job. A month later and the ac is still nice and cold :) I will come here for all my future car needs.

I called an hour before closing and asked if I could get my car in to get a caliper fixed. They were able to get my car that night and I got it back the next day. They were very honest and did a fantastic job at communicating with me when they saw other things that needed fixed. Reasonable price and fantastic work. I would 10/10 recommend.

I went here based on the great reviews, and was not disappointed. I scheduled an appointment and was told i could bring my car in to make sure it was okay to drive while waiting for my appointment. The mechanic came out and looked at my engine and everything and even screwed some loose things back together that he saw.The next week when i took my car in, they were very fast at calling me and telling me how much everything would be and what the problem was. This was the fastest time i had ever had my car taken in somewhere and gotten it fixed. It was so stress free. The prices are very reasonable even for a 19 year old teenager. My car sounds so much better. I’ll definitely be using this auto care company as long as I’m in Bloomington.

I bought a used car that needed brake work, so I called Mission. I had read their reviews and the reviews were very positive. I spoke with Tricia about setting an appointment and brought the car in. I had purchased parts with intention to install on my own but decided against it. Tricia said they’d use mine, no problem. Dana called later in morning telling me what he’d found and what needed done. I picked up the vehicle and found it was fixed in a very professional manner by Matt. Great work, Mission!! You’ll be my Go To car repair from now on.

A honest quality car service place!

I called just to see if I could get a quote on how much it would cost to get a diagnosis on my transmission. The woman that answered the phone immediately said well we dont have a availability for 2 wks & informed me she couldnt give me a quote because she didnt know what they would be looking at. I told her I wanted my transmission looked at to see if I was having transmission troubles & asked her if she could then give me a quote & she still said no because I dont really know what they would be looking at & I said I just told you what they would be looking at and everywhere else I have called was able to give me a basic quote on how much it would cost to inspect the transmission! I told her I was no longer interested in Services if a business that deals with cars cant even give me something as basic as a price for inspecting the car & that they were the only place that I had called who was unable to do so!!! Customer service is very lacking.

My air-conditioning wasnt working so I took it in to get looked at. I dropped the car off at 8am and before noon, they had called me back to let me know what needed to be fixed. Danna explained in detail what was wrong and how they would fix it. He was able to provide an estimate right then. It was extremely fair price. I brought the car back the next week to have the work done and everything was fixed within the day. Trisha, working the front desk, was amazing and incredibly personable. She had a complete break down of all the prices for me to look over before any work was done. I am new to town and it was extremely comforting to have found an auto repair shop that I know I will return to again, when needed. Highly recommend these awesome people!

After years of being disappointed by mechanics in Bloomington, I was really impressed with Mission Auto Care. The team is responsive, they do a great job of explaining what is going on with the car, what repairs they recommend, and how long they will take. Their prices are the fairest in town, and they offer a warranty guarantee on their repairs. Ill be using Mission for all my repairs from here on out.

Brought both our vehicles to Mission for routine maintenance. Mechanics did good work, and the office communicated with us about the status of the cars. Prices were reasonable, and they did not try to sell unecessary work. Will definitely use again.

The drive belt on my 01 Corolla broke. They recommend a towing company which they just added to my repair bill. I dont know what kind of deal they have worked out but it was convenient to only have one bill at the end. Everything was fixed and ready to go within a day. They saw I was overdue for an oil change and asked before changing it. I dont know how much all of that should usually cost but I was happy with the price. I certainly didnt feel ripped off.

Fair, Honest and Accommodating Im stationed in Italy, and my daughters car broke down at school in Bloomington. Coordinating its repair from 4500 miles away was challenging, and a bit nerve wracking. Despite the car being very old, with parts being difficult to find, William assured me they would do what ever was necessary to repair the car... and did a fairly good job of putting my apprehensions to rest... scheduled an appointment had it towed in. Despite a one day set-back due to an unforeseen issue with a previous appointment, they repaired the old car in a timely manner... at a fair price.Its dedication to customer service like this that America needs more of. I appreciate the care and concern they had for my situation of being thousands of miles away and trying to coordinate the professional repair of my daughters car. Thank You Mission!

Went there to get an oil change and had to get a part replaced to prevent my antifreeze from leaking. I went to go pick it up after it was done, employee told me that it looked like my ball joints needed to be replaced, I said okay to the fix. He also had said he would take the car somewhere to get my new tires on and an alignment since they didn’t do tires, as kind of a favor I guess. I picked the car up and my new tires were still sitting on my backseat. I probably wouldn’t have said ok to replacing the ball joints if I knew my tires weren’t going to be replaced. I payed about $380 for it to be done. They’re good at what they do, just not keeping their word it seems.

Had work done on both of my cars in the same week. They were friendly and affordable. You can tell they are really good at what they do.

Reasonable cost and good service. I have been here twice, once for my hood latch & cable and once to replace the headlight assembly. Each time they were friendly and explained everything clearly. They were willing to use the parts that I had already purchased online. The shop is really busy, though. It is clear that they are well known and have a lot of repeat customers and referrals. They open around 8:00 AM. Since they are on a side street off of South Walnut, it is easy to catch a bus back into the center of town or to walk (its about 10 minutes to Courthouse Square).

I was having brake issues and was concerned driving around with the noises coming from my car. The gentleman that answered was actually really nice and guaranteed that I would have an appointment at 8 am the following Monday. Showed up right at 8 am and no one was there. Called multiple times and left a voicemail. Still no response. Another customer showed up at 8:30 and said he had an appointment also and still no one had shown up at the business. I waited 45 minutes before calling another business that could actually show up at their posted times. Extremely disappointed at the lack of communication and glad to give my business elsewhere. A shame.

I needed to have my antilock brake system fixed. They were able to get the part and install it for a decent price. When it ended up involving multiple parts of my car being broken they offered me a few choices Including one that had a 50-50 percent chance of working cleaning the part rather than replacing it. When that didnt work they didnt charge me for the labor that went into cleaning it as they knew I was in pretty dire financial difficulties I think. five out of five stars as they were fast, helpful, nice, showed me what was wrong and were a decent price. helpful showed me what was wrong and were a good price. I brought in my blazer that refused to start below 30 degrees. I had taken it to three other places and the problem was a mystery. It took a three visits of 3-7 days each, but due to the persistence of the team there I my car is running great and has been better than ever in this crazy Indiana weather, fires right up in the 5 degrees and snow. For a college kid I was worried about money after three visits but they made sure the third was free, and the invoice is pending on refunding me for the second visit as well along with any labor costs after the first visit. They genuinely care about the customer, are very honest, and will stay with it until the jobs done right. Highly recommend these guys

I recommend Mission Auto Care. I went in to get a pre-purchase inspection for a car I ended up buying. Without even having an appointment DJ checked out everything in my car, hooked it up to a computer, gave it a test drive, and filled me in with some helpful pointers about my car maintenance when I expressed my interest in learning more about my car. He was helpful, kind, personable, and gave me a good deal! I will be returning there when I need something fixed!

Mission Auto did a great job on my car. They used mats to keep the floorboards clean and the work performed was job well done. The cost of repairs was much less than I was quoted elsewhere.

I called Mission Auto panicked the Monday before Thanksgiving (and less than two weeks before my due date) because my car started making a very loud rumbling sound and shaking horribly when idling. The owner told me he was booked, but that if I swung by towards end of day he would take a look at it and see what he could do. It was an exhaust issue and he recommended a muffler shop that ended up fixing it same day for a very reasonable price. My husband and I were both so impressed with the owners kindness, honesty, and expertise. He didnt have to fit us in his schedule, and I am so grateful that he did! I would absolutely recommend Mission Auto.

We were passing through Bloomington on a road trip, when our cars headlight blew out - stranding us until we found a fix. DJ dropped everything so he could help us out immediately, as though we were long lost friends, fixed us up and then refused to accept payment. I called ahead and scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance. When I went in there today, they told me how they actually didnt have an appointment for me. As an IUB student, my transportation is my car. They said that they could get me in today, but I wouldnt be able to pick up my car until later this afternoon. When I called, they said it would be done by noon, so I scheduled around that. They didnt have a waiting room. The next appointment they had was scheduled two weeks out. Ultimately, I decided not to have my car serviced through them. I think its very unprofessional to not write appointments down. Let alone this place looks like a hole in the wall and they didnt seem too upset over the loss of business.
