I have taken my old f150 2004, they did a great job with a spark plug that broke in the engine. I also took my Armada 2012 for breaks replacement, they also did an overall check since I was driving across country! They did such a great job!

They towed my car from my own apartment complex even though I had a clearly marked permit. Absolute trash.

Very trust worthy. We were looking for help trying salvage the vehicle, they were completely honest with us. It wasnt a good idea to waste our time on the repairs because the car wasnt worth the money. Goods mechanics want to you coming back. I appreciate amazing guys like these gentlemen!

They came right away when I needed a tow at an affordable price. I was a little bitter, because gave up my car to them due to not being able to afford having it fixed, but that has nothing to do with them. Alex is who I spoke with through the whole process and he was very pleasant to work with. The owner was also kind and patient. Thanks, guys!

After unknowingly parking in a tow away zone, Chandler towed my Corvette; completely my fault. Alex at Chandler was completely professional as I paid the bill. I also watched others come in for their towed vehicles while we were there. Alex really does a great job diffusing frustration from car owners who also parked in tow away zones. Alex went out of his way to help me out and I greatly appreciate it. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate using Chandler for my car repairs.

I made an appointment with this shop because of their longtime service and reputation in this community. My friends assured me it was the best place to go. I was able to schedule a diagnostic test quite easily and was told i would need to leave it with them for about an hour. BUT when I called to verify the appointment an hour prior to the scheduled drop-off time, I was told that they were covered up with work.SO I rescheduled for 2 days later. I took my car in at the (SECOND) scheduled time, and the office door was locked (10:45 am). I dropped the keys into the key drop box and left. When I returned 2 hours later, I was again told they were covered up with work. (They didnt bother to call to tell me that before my scheduled appointment--the second time!) Her excuse: Well, we cant tell the police department that were too busy for them. But did they call and tell me the police had priority when I rescheduled? No! Their solution--bring it back Saturday.No apologies offered--only excuses! So please understand your needs will be put on hold if the city needs their services, and youll have no advance notice. Promises made--PROMISES NOT KEPT!

I am very disappointed in the service and value of this company. The front desk lady was very nice but what kind of place tows broke college kids cars for $160. boooooo

Chandler is newly in charge of towing service for resident parking at my apartment complex. In the one week that they have been in charge of this (effective September 1, it is now September 9) I have been woken up in the middle of the night 4 times by them very loudly towing cars and driving around our complex parking lot looking for people to tow at around 3 AM. Their inconsideration for the people who live here who are trying to sleep and go about their lives really shows how this company just wants to make a quick buck by being a predatory towing company and they couldn’t care less about the people living in this town.

I have been going to Chandlers Garage for decades and recommend the repair facility to all my friends, who also use their services. They just did a brake job on my Volvo, and it is great. No noises, smooth stopping. Perfect.Chandlers has done many repairs on my different cars and are always honest, thorough, fairly priced and often 2give me tips on avoiding future problems. Great 5 star garage.

Not sure about the claims of them being cocky. They were exceptionally nice toward us. The owner seemed very knowledgeable about the issues we experiencing. A tow guy that was towing our car back home from the dealership suggested that he drop the car off at Chandlers and said they wont try anything unfair. They were right. We were referred to them by several people in town and they didnt disappoint. Highly recommended.

Took my car there for a new tire and they ordered my tire and got my car to me quickly and at a decent price.

They always go above and beyond to make sure they give you the beat possible service, and your safety and satisfaction are legit their top priority. The mechanic even fixed a few things for free that I had no clue about, all because he didnt want my car leaving him being less safe than it could be.

I have taken my cars to Chandlers Automotive for about 20 years now. They have always treated my cars like their own, using their expertise to keep them both performing and lasting. Very friendly, informative, and extremely honest people to do business with. I have taken my vehicles there on probably a half dozen occasions and referred them to my wife and friends. I was also referred to them by a friend who complimented their honesty and transparency. They know their stuff and have always made things right for me! Ill be back to do business again.

My son is a student at IU. I was referred to Chandler by another parent that lives in Bloomington. Ashley and Cody were great. They really took care of us and were straight about the issue. They werent able to fix it but they didnt jerk us around which is what I was afraid of in an unfamiliar town. I will definitely send my son to them again with any other vehicle issues.

Been going to Chandlers garage for decades. Cody did a great repair on my Volvo, found wiring breaks in a bundled harness and fixed all six broken wires. Now have brake lights, license lite and no false codes...great job!Also did a flawless brake job on Volvo, no squeaks, noises, no dust..high quality parts. Also great trouble shooting and repairs on an Olds Silhouette and Nissan Datsun 200SX that I had.

Parked our car in a flexepark lot today, paid for our parking then returned, Chandler Towing towed our car. A sign was posted on the fence, church parking only! Flexepark was in green stripes along street. In the center was where we parked with no signs stating that you couldnt park there. We assumed since it was not labeled that we could park since we paid! Well, they towed our car! Also, the white SUV we parked next to, that was there before we arrived, was still there! I understand making a $$. But being deceitful and putting blame in the church. Really?

I’m not at all surprised to come here and find that others have had the same experience I have had with this company. Their predatory towing practices are criminal. Period. I parked in a downtown Bloomington lot with flexepark signs. Rather than leave my car behind in a strange parking lot, I walked across the lot to talk to the flexepark attendant to make sure I was parked appropriately. My car was towed WHILE I WAS STILL IN THE LOT TALKING TO THE FLEXEPARK ATTENDANT. When I tried to run after the tow truck, the drive peeled out of the lot. It turns out I was not parked in a flexepark spot, but I know for a fact that the owner of the lot did not complain about my cars presence because I had not been there for even three minutes. DO NOT GIVE THESE CRIMINALS YOUR BUSINESS

Took advantage of my lack of mechanical know-how. Charged me an arm and a leg, and guaranteed their work. About 4 weeks later, I already needed a new alignment. Idk much about cars, but Im positive you shouldnt need an alignment four weeks after one was done. Work wasnt guaranteed. Me being lazy and not looking thoroughly through the paper work was my fault. Guess their guarantee is only a verbal binding agreement. Would not recommend them at all.

Uses illegal and unethical predatory towing tactics during busy days such as football games. Parked in a friends apartment complex for ~15 minutes, come outside to see a tow truck about to take the car away. A witness said the tow truck came in just minutes after we parked and went straight for our car. This is illegal in the state of Indiana, look up the laws. Terrible business.

These guys are excellent, experienced, honest mechanics. I took my Nissan Cube to them because it had an electrical short that had my local Nissan dealership stumped. The same circuit on this car had already shorted out once before, and the previous owner had paid $1,000 or so to replace an electrical component/sensor that her local Nissan dealership had said was the source of the problem. The owner of Chandlers shop diagnosed the problem within hours of our taking the car in, when he took out the radio and found that the short was caused by a penny that had been inserted into the CD slot by the previous owners young son, and which eventually fell out the back of the radio and melted the circuit that controlled the radio, interior overhead light, and the rear brake lights and headlights. He repaired the circuit and the problem was immediately resolved--and the car never shorted again (though unfortunately, the radio was shot). I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Terrible towing company. They damaged my car. Dont trust them.

Offensive and rude. Owners son is very cocky and talks a lot, makes sure you know he is very powerful with his tow truck. When asked when we could get our car he (and his 2 co-workers?) screamed profanities at my husband and I. He told us we could only pay cash if we wanted it that night. Price gouging, $150 to go 2 miles?? They towed 21 cars from the same lot during the Taste when several had parking open for the event. When we questioned the price the owner defended his son and threatened to sue us. We didnt see the one sign 10 feet in the air, our fault, but we didnt deserve this treatment.

I recently lost the key to my van and had no way of operating it.Chandler Automotive towed the van for me and than programmed a new key for me. If I had to go to the dealership to have it done it would have been very expensive Chandler Automotive had the equipment to do it and did a wonderful job.

Worst people on earth to deal with. Cocky, rude, the worst!
