Everytime I go in, its a pleasant experience. The selection is awesome. I have gotten many birthday and Christmas presents in there. The sales are great too. I bought all of the Uncharted games there for 15 bucks!The staff is more than kind and capable of giving you the customer service you need. The store manager, John, has been nothing but helpful every visit. I would give it a 10 out of 10 but 5 out of 5 is just as good.

We love every GameStop! My son and I just enjoy walking around the stores and at times find the best clearance items. We have noticed that every store has very subtle differences. For instance, we felt that this store was more organized. Even their clearance items were very organized unlike other stores. I would recommend this store.

Went into the store to buy call of duty cold war for the play station 4 guy said they had one copy i said ill take it, guy told me they had a promotion 30% off a used game while i was looking for a used game they sold the copy of cold war i was going to purchase. Like thats how you lose customers

Look there all really nice and above and beyond witch I love a lot but one thing that really sucks is they don’t answer the phone at all I tried calling them 6 times and waited about 5min in between no one answered the phone now I called the GameStop in villa park and they answered right away

Mario is the all time best person working at this store. He is always nice & very patient too. My daughter always leaves there with what she needs thanks to Mario and he even managed to get in the game unit I wanted in time for my birthday. By far the best Game Stop thanks to Mario.

I love this GameStop but the only thing is that it isn’t that big and that they don’t have a lot of amiibo there. But on the other hand the people there are very nice and are actually really cool!

Very good store good price and good service

The staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is a little lacking, being that it is a small store, but they have most of the in-demand items. Its a great place to pre-order the next big game or console that is coming out. Its a great place to buy used stuff too, if you want to save a few bucks.

Purchased a Neca Godzilla figure and the leg was broken when I opened him. My local store didnt have anymore but I called Bloomingdales location and spoke to Lex and she informed me they had one left in stock and would happily place it on hold for me for an exchange. She was very understanding and not surprised with Neca history or broken figures. Thanks again!!!

Tbh I could do without all the multiple sales pitches. I get that they have to do it but its tiresome and all I want to do is to just buy a game and leave.

I think gamestops are mostly cookie cutter but this one actually has good employees that genuinely like and play games, not just selling them. One employee talked me out of a purchase and into another one and it turned out great.

Every time I go in here everyone is always so nice, knowledgeable, and doesn’t care if you’re buying something or not. Sales are pretty good too.

Put a game and system on hold through website. I got the conformation email then went to pick it up, they didnt have it. Also gave me misleading information about a current promotion. I went to another gamestop and was told that an employee at this location was wrong and probably trying to keep something for themselves. This place is big but dont choose for preorders on popular items.

If you have ever heard that Gamestop offers horrible prices for buying your electronics then the rumors are correct. There really isnt anything special about gamestop other than you can buy video games here and I would say that business for these places are going down just to the fact that gamers buy games online and dont have to drive here.

THIS PLACE #1 customer service I have ever experienced. I have not only expressed this to about 100 people since my visit yesterday, I am going to write a letter in to Corporate and let them know about their staff at the Bloomingdale court location.My kids (6 & 9) dad moved to Florida and for Christmas sent them a Nintendo Switch and a $25 gift card each to use toward whatever they wanted at Gamestop, he then gave them a $50g.c for their bdays in January. We have an 8mo old puppy who managed to get ahold of one of the gift cards chewing it enough to destroy the mag strip and eat away the last 2 sets of numbers. All we had were the first 8.I thought it was useless and expected to be told it was our fault and I would suck it up and put in what they needed to buy their firs game Super Smash Bros brand new $60.NOPE I WAS SO WRONG!! Ronny called over the manager (Im sorry sir I didnt get your name), and he had Ronny call customer service while I texted my ex and his wife asking for the powerpoints phone number or whoevers last name and zip code they put it under. No such luck looking up the account, BUT Ronny worked some awesome skill and after looking up the first g.c. number he had customer service do a search for all other cards purchased with the same debit card. They had found one that had all the same first 8 numbers and gave him the final sets. He entered it and the pin and BAM my daughter was able to buy the game her and her brother wanted.RONNY, you my dear are a fantastic employee and above that a good human. See my son was home very sick with the stomach flu. My ex doesnt provide me child support and I am a single mom. You made my day. I am a small business owner (a salon suite called Monroe Hair Studio about 3mi away in Bartlett) Im not trying to plug, I would like to offer you and the manager free haircuts for your help. I wish I had the means to give monetarily, or buy lunch to show my sincere gratitude.I will not be shopping for my kids future games or accessories anywhere else. I honestly hope you are recognized for your kindness and hard work. With your customer service skills, you have just earned your company so much word of mouth free advertising from myself and all the clients I tell as well as my ex and his wife as they were happy the money was not lost. Its a rare thing to find such good employees these days. You made my day and my weekend and I cant thank you enough.

Kind of a small store... Though most game stops are small. They closed the one in Stratford Square Mall so this one is 2x as busy. They do have all the items you are looking for so I am guessing that is all you can ask for

Hello fellow gamers. I had the worse experience at this location GameStop yesterday. I was in there to trade my xbox one and couple of games and a controller. The employee looked at my stuff and said sorry but you have to pay more for my trade in and I get nothing out of it. And they were Very Very Rude and pressure me to buy just used games.Overall I Am Very DISAPPOINTED And I am definitely not recommend this location GameStop or any other GameStop location.

The guy with glasses refused to work with me because I didnt have my receipt and I didnt use my power up card when I purchased the game and said I can only trade it in for 11 dollars when I paid almost $40. Dont waste your time coming to this one

I was warned by my daughter whos 8 not to go here. I took 12 games and they wanted to low ball big time saying scratches to set you up but they were minor finger smears. $7 is what they wanna give you for all when they sell same games $10 or more each. What a joke Id rather give them away then to give them my bussiness.

Im done with this location and gamestop in general. I went in to buy a gift a few months ago. later my wife went in to get a different gift. the guy working their told her that I was in and what I had spent (which is non of his god damn business). so I stopped in again around x-mas to get the family gifts. the c%^ksu%^er again told my wife I stopped in and what I had spent after I asked them not to do so they would not find out what the gifts were. clearly they do not appreciate their customers, have big f%^kin mouths and do not know how to shut them when asked to do so.

Hello fellow gamers. I suggest you steer clear of this location. The Best Buy a few stores over is much friendlier and worthy of your precious money. Either that, or the Game Stop inside of the Stratford Square. They are also very nice. Why do I suggest this? Because the Manager Christopher treated my friends and I to the single worst customer service experience I have ever had. I called in to ask about a few games, he was rude and short on the phone. When we went in he kept doing pressure sales to get my friend to sign up for the membership. We asked 4 times for him to please just ring up the games. He ignored the request and kept talking about the membership and arguing. Then after we finished the transaction he became insulting to my friend. I have since submitted both a survey with a complaint and called in requesting to speak to the DM. 3 days later and the DM still hasnt called me. But the Manager Christopher called to apologize. However his apology was more of a Im sorry you just werent understanding what I was saying, let me explain it again and basically suggested that it was our fault he was rude. So, my fellow gamers. I highly suggest you trade your loot in at another location and spend your shinies at either the Game Stop inside of the Stratford Square mall or at the Best Buy a few doors over.
