Good selection of craft supplies and holiday decorations, great deals on jewelry making supplies specifically. I wish their charms came in pairs of two per pack, as many people like to make them into matching earrings and will have to buy a second one, but thatd not really a store problem. Their seasonal decorations have a good variety compared to the usual other craft stores in the area.Staff kind of ignores you though, and sometimes there isnt even anyone at the checkout. No one was there until an employee standing around noticed I was waiting to check out. A lot of charms are also locked up and require staff assistance to open, when often times you cant even find a staff member around. Would be much better if management staffed the store properly.

Manager offered to assist me since my mobility is limited. Two other people interrupted at different times en route to have their questions answered. Manager abandoned me without a word and assisted them first. I found a silk flower as I was standing waiting for her return, so I went to the cashier to check out. Manager returned saying she had been looking for me. Unbelievable. Wouldnt of had to look if I werent abandoned to begin with. The store should have more floor people to assist customers

The store is clean and easy to navigate with plenty of space to respect social distancing. I am always able to find what I need and then some. I do have a problem finding associates to help when I cant reach an item or have a question.

Wow to the framing section. Sam helped me frame up a picture I’ve had for years and just haven’t brought in. She made up a really beautiful, multi-matt idea to draw out the colors in the picture. We just HAD to have it the way she designed the framing. The price was out of budget, so Sam held my design until my frame went on sale. She was open and honest and helped me get the best bang for my buck. I CANNOT wait to see what the picture looks like when it’s completed!! Thanks so much, Sam!!!Update: Sadie is amazing too! She helped with my picture as well. I’ll definitely come back to this location!!

I worked with Jade for a couple of weeks until we got everything pulled together for a very special framing job. She is very patient, very artistic, professional, and friendly!

Horrible customer service!! If I could give this location zero stars I would. Waited for over 45 min for a curbside order with a small child in my car that I do not bring into the store with me due to Covid. Finally after the third attempt to call for my curbside order I spoke to the manager Keri who said its busy in the store mind you there were barely any cars in the lot and she would come out in a few min. I asked so a customer whos been waiting 45 min for a prepaid order is ok and she responded with theres not time on curbside orders....WOW just wow. Real customer service right there..not! I even told her I had a small child in the car. She didnt even come out some guy did and said I dont even work here (even though he had a Michaels shirt on) he said Im just helping. I grabbed my order and called corporate right away and cant even understand the person and been waiting to talk to someone else for an hour. Unbelievable and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!No wonder the lot at Hobby Lobby was full when I drove past and Michaels is suffering. Hopefully someone from corporate reads this and talks to the manager Keri at the Bloomingdale store.

The store itself seems depressing and uninspiring, however the staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is small compared to others and doesnt have a large inventory. It is stocked with the basics. I never go there to be inspired. I buy want I need and thats it.

I enjoy Michaels and its ability to foster creativity. This Michaels however has a unique floor plan that I dont believe really fits the brand identity. The Google maps location a little off but it was right down the street across from the red lobster. I tried updating the location and it is awaiting Googles approval. Blessings!

I cant walk in here without spending more than I should! Its amazing! They have so much stuff - picture frames, pictures albums, craft supplies, yarn, canvases, etc. The inspiration here is overflowing! Fun and creative!

Always enjoy roaming through this store. They cover almost all crafts I can remember. Scrapbooking, miniatures, jewelry-making, floral arranging and more. They have great weekly sales and coupons can be emailed to your phone. They also have children and adult classes available. I also buy many decorative items like baskets, boxes and vases here.

Man working behind the framing counter was super nice! Very informative and even gave me suggestions & nice ideas on how to frame a concert poster. Would recommend!

If you are into any type of art or craft type projects this is the place for you!! They have anything and everything you could possibly need or want and the employees are outstanding!! Every employee weve ever had the pleasure of coming into contact with has been more than friendly and willing to help us find whatever we needed and make suggestions as well. We have gotten some great ideas and items here and made some really cool things. This is a neat place and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend it!

Stopped in to do a bit of holiday shopping. I spoke to 2 different sales floor employee both of them were very helpful. The cashier was very good as well and helped me maximize my savings with coupons.

Their online 40% off coupon is the best! I usually wait for that one! Cant find the same deal at other competitors and i love the pickup in store options!

We have been there several times & the service great. Wait for the sales. We bought picture frames on sale & it was worth waiting for. The signage in the store was excellent. However, they did not have what we were looking for this last time. I would recommend that they have somewhere for the non-shoppers to sit.

Very long check out lines when you are trying to pop in real quick. It didnt help that the one cashier was buddying up to someone and telling her to give her a good review!!! The gentleman I had checked out four people in the time that one was checking the woman out. And telling her to take our survey, and heres my name! Really??

Good choice of crafts supplies. Hobby Lobby is still my preferred as it has more of an offering and variety, but Michaels is open on Sundays. Look on their website for the 50% off coupons, its always active.

Easy peasy

I went to Michaels this evening to get something framed. An employee Mickena was working there at the time of my visit. She was helping another customer get something framed. I asked how long will it be to which she responded 20 min. I figured Id wait right there. 20 min went by I asked again how much longer she replied another 20 min. So, I waited and waited before i knew it an hour and a half went by and she still wasnt done. Carrying a conversation with the customer while working knowing she had other customers waiting. I spoke to the manager telling them the situation who surprisingly saw nothing wrong with the employee talking while working and being oblivious of other customers waiting for over an hour and a half to be helped. If she would have informed me how long it would take I wouldnt have wasted all that time watching her talk. In my opinion thats vary unprofessional and Im vary disappointed at the customer service I received today.

Didnt have the selection that was showing on their website. They had only one type of dress forms. Staffing was short and we had no one to ask help.

Older store very crowded aisles, didnt feel organized. Store in an older plaza, parking lot needs repairs, some retailers are independent businesses.

The store is great but google maps led me to a location that was .5 miles away. This Michaels is actually closer to the Petco and Toys R Us on army trail road.

As a guy I wish there were some do this for me booths were I could just pay them to do a project as I suck at crafts and just wanted some basic things done. But cant complain. minus 1 star because sometimes its hard to find an employee or decipher which product goes with which price in the cramped shelves.

A medium sized store but with a little bit of everything. They have craft kits for younger Craftsman, up to beading, a variety of paints, picture frames, etc. We always find something fun for our family to work on together here.

I went to the Michaels at Schaumburg and they didnt have the yarn I was looking for but the lady was so kind enough to call this store and have them hold it for us they physically went into the aisle grab the one that we wanted and put it to the side for us Not only was the customer service theyre so great they also gave us a coupon I could not have been more happier with this customer service thanks again for everybody who helped us my wife was very happy to finally find this yarn.

Havent been in a Michaels in a long time but I was impressed by how well the store looked. Well stocked ,clean and a friendly staff.

Eric is the man when it comes to custom framing!!! I have had over 20 pieces done and have yet to find myself anything less than utterly satisfied!

7 & 8 year old had projects for school, and they had to make heads, thus styrafoam was perfect, and not bad in price either.

I recently went decoration shopping for my wedding here and they had everything I needed at great prices and they had great sales! We ended up asking a lady for help, her name was Rupal and we told her what we were shopping for and what we needed. She helped us out so much. She was amazing to work with. Ive shopped at this store for over 10 years and have always been happy with the prices and quality of merchandise. However, in the past 12 months the quality of merchandise has dropped (Ive returned on several occasions with damaged goods to return), the checkout ladies (and I do mean plural) and the store manager are rather rude for either a purchase or a return, and generally what was a pleasant experience is now unpleasant. Do yourself a favor and shop JoAnn Fabrics a block away, youll be happier.

I like this store a lot but its junky looking. The shelves and lanes are crowded and cramped. It needs to be rearranged inside to accomondate its popularity. The check out process is annoying on the weekends because of the crowds, clutter and long checkout lines.
