I shop here whenever I cant get to other Asia markets that are not as conveniently located near where I live. Dry goods are fine. Fresh produce, meat & seafood could be very fresh or not so fresh depends on their turnovers.

I am giving this place this asian grocery market 4 stars because it is exactly what it sets out to be. If you need Asian food products, youll find it here. The only lacking area is their vegetable selection. If you grew up going to Asian markets or Chinatown with your parents then this place will feel very familiar. As soon as you walk in, take a giant sniff and the very distinct odor of asian grocery market will be apparent.

Ive been shopping here for approximately 20 years and their vegetables are normally fresh. However, I bought 2 bags of Chinese broccoli a few days ago. When I got home to clean them they were squished and had brown water in one of the bags. Wasted over $7 😩

Its small and the shelves are crowded with a big variety of Asian and Philippine food. The lighting isnt ideal and good luck getting anyone to help you find something youve bought there previously. However, the variety is good for a small store and if you remember where you found something it will be in the same place next time. I have found the check-out women to be ungracious, bordering on rude. Not sure if its because Im white or if they are indifferent to everyone, but since Ive mostly experienced Asian and Philippine people to be very nice in other business settings, it puzzles me that this store cannot manage to hire pleasant check-out people. Maybe its me and maybe they hate their jobs. Who knows? Dont expect much help or any interest if you ask a question. I must also mention the prices are rather high. Still, its convenient and theres something to be said for that.

Decent array of Asian food supplies. Not incredibly wide selection, but will be able satisfy general Asian ingredient needs. Mostly Filipino items but with some general East Asian supplies also. At the side of the store, is the fresh and frozen fish and meat section. Some vegetables also available. Again, not diverse like other Asian food markets but answers the need.

Other reviewers said parking could be difficult. I went early so there was enough parking. There was no limit to the amount of product you want to buy, like meat or fish. Prices are a little bit higher than other Asian stores. Its quite a drive for me. I only tried it cause its owner is Filipino and I want to support the business (Im Filipino too). But I also have a budget to meet and higher prices wont help.

Its a good place to buy only certain items. They have empty shelves and placement of products are not in the correct position where prices are displayed. Items will ring different than where it was placed in the shelves that customers should be aware of. Other Asian selections cost more than in other places. They wont apologize for the pricing error.

The store has not had any cosmetic update since it opened decades ago, so it looks like a dump. But dont be put off. They carry Asian food from several cultures. Theres a large selection of frozen food, every type of sauce and spice that you can think of, lots and lots of fish and a good but limited supply of Asian vegetables. The prices are reasonable.

Review №44

Prices are very good here. The staff was fine. The place just looks run down and the seafood area reeks. Parking is an absolute chaos not that its the stores fault. multiple stores jammed together in a half shopping center. Would still reccommend.Update: changing my review from 4 to 2 stars. The place has inaccurate prices the last time I went back. Literally upcharging some of the stuff because they said there was a price increase. A lot of items this time does not have prices listed on them. You cant find prices unless you request for a staff which is annoying. Also word of caution, beware of expired goods. They occasionally have some, cans etc. Just make sure you check the dates on them.

Somewhat typical Asian market, not that clean. I doubt they have a lot of sales for the shelves ate a bit bare. But if youve shopped for Asian food in any smaller towns this is pretty much expected, but Binghamton is a big enough town to have a much nicer market. ..but this is the only one Google found for me as I drove through town.

JUST A FRIENDLY SUGGESTION:If something there is on SALE, you MUST check the expiration date first. I went there last Sunday and saw crackers was on sale, I bought some and found out later that they were expired like a month already.I know that I may have to check before purchasing; HOWEVER, I feel like I was cheated and tricked by them to buy bad stuff in appealingly cheap price. PLEASE have some standard for your own shop and sake.IT’S NOT EVEN NEARLY EXPIRED, IT HAS ALREADY EXPIRED!!!!! COME ON!!!

If you go to this store make sure to check your reciept before you leave. I was charged $17 for an item that I didnt get and when I went back and told the cashier about it, she told me that it happens several times because of some computer malfunction (instead of scallion, it charged a different item). I cant believe they didnt fixed it since it already happened to some customers. I could have lost some $$ if I didnt check my reciept and probably some people who wasnt aware about it was charged without knowing so please be careful.

Employees do not know what they stock- I called ahead for a specific item and was told they have it. I asked for the price and was put on hold for an extended time. I took the ride as I had a small window of opportunity to go there after searching the store I went to the cashier, No One remembered speaking with me, they did not carry the item and just walked away not giving me a solid answer. I wasted tolls, time and gas to NOT GET a very popular chinese herv, if I just ordered it on E bay instead of driving I would have it tomorrow.
