New home owner trying to get good seal on door before winter, keep the mice and drafts out. Nothing from Lowes fit the old door so had to call the professionals. Joe came and did the requested seal job, but stuck around to fine tune the garage system for proper closing.. and set me up with a garage door opener. Havent met a Joe that isnt an absolute phenomenal individual.

I called Great Garage Door Co for a same day repair. My garage door was in sad shape. The spring, cables, rails were all in disarray with the door barely hanging on. My car was stuck inside as well. I was extremely impressed with Mike as a technician. He gave us a very detailed itemized estimate of what to expect to pay. He was able to fix it very quickly, replaced the components that were old, gave me tips on garage maintenance for the future and did it with such a great attitude. He was extremely knowledgeable.

I contacted Great Garage Door and spoke to Brian. I told him that I needed my garage door fixed pretty quickly. The garage door was down and I couldnt get my truck out. He let me know that they could come the next day and the price it would cost. Mike, the service technician, was so sweet, nice and courteous that it really made me think that maybe customer service has not gone by the wayside. I first called another company and was being pressured into over a $700 repair, I decided to call around for quotes. Great Garage door was able to give me a rough estimate by email for everything I was told needed to be replaced by the other company, Great Garage Door was still over $150 less. Best part was when the technician inspected our door, several of the things that were quoted were not needed! He throughly explained things and was super friendly and did great work! Not to mention saving me over $400, I am glad I called them! Great Garage Door will be the only place I call next time and I would refer my friends and family to them!

It’s hard to know who you can trust and what type of service you will receive. Your company was recommended to me by my father-in-law and I am so happy that I called him. The whole experience was exceptional. From the customer service representative who answered the phone and set up the appointment, to Marc Hedy coming out to do the repair. It was only a matter of a few hours from the time I called, until I was able to use my door again. Marc was awesome. 10/10 would not recommend. They do not keep records of orders and just send out invoices based off assumptions they make.They called me one day in Sept and said my HOA ordered a new garage door for me. 1 month later my HOA is billing me for over $1300 for the services Great Garage told them I had called to order. When confronted by me, Great Garage states they thought I worked for gassen and placed the order, however they had no record of who actually placed the order because it was placed 4 months prior. Nevermind how incredibly rude and condescending some of the guys are who work here too.I would never choose to use them for services, especially now that their bookkeeping methods are incredibly sketchy.

I wasnt sure if we needed a new door or just the cables. Dean was our tech. and said you, the one we have will last for years, that was refreshing to hear a tech. tell me the truth. Dean replaced the cables and checked the track, oiled it and made recommendations for weather-stripping that would help the life of the door, he was a great guy and fast!

I received an unauthorized charge for a service I never received and tried to work out issue with manager Dwight and he refuses to communicate and hung up on me. Go with any other garage companies even if you may pay a bit more for honest service.Dwight started the call by accusing me of posting a bunch of negative reviews here but this is my first review on Great Garage Door. Dwight was hostile and threatening and do not deserve to be employed at this capacity.Edit: Thats not true, Dwight, and you know it.

My remote control garage door openers and my keypad opener all stopped working at the same time. I replaced the batteries on all 3, but they still wouldnt work.So, I called Great Garage Door Co. and they sent Tony out on the same day.Tony was amazing! It was obvious he knew what he was doing. He completed the following tasks within 15 minutes, yes, only 15 minutes:1. He verified the old keypad opener and both remotes no longer worked.2. Install and program a new keypad opener on the frame of the garage door.3. Program 2 new remote control door openers.4. Install a new key opener, incase my keypad opener and 2 remotes all stop working in the future.I was amazed at Tonys fast and efficient service and he did it right the first time!If youre in need of new garage doors, keypads, remotes, or anything garage door related, I highly recommend the Great Garage Door Co!

We must of got these guys on bad day according to most of the reviews we did not not get same help with the set up, in fact the response was it its in the manual (some of it was not like coding the touch pad). The installer didnt clean up (over 40 staples) and installed the third opener on the opposite end of entrance to the house and I wont get into the sensors. They did come out to move the third opener but felt like this was annoyance to them, instead of sorry we installed your opener in awkward corner of the garage and didnt ask if you didnt want it by the entrance. In fact, we got an estimate on new doors and they didnt call back like they said they would, so I guess we got the hint. Now we have done a lot work the last three on the house with contractors and businesses and this experience stands out as the only negative experience. Disappointing since our experience seems to be an aberration from others.

They were able to give me a quote over the phone - [now I know if you have a simple service and a company refuses to give you a quote over the phone its a major red flag] - plus no high pressure sales tactics and add-on fees like other companies.The installation of the opener was super quick. I also meant to ask the installer, Mike, to give me a quote to fix some damaged rollers on my door, but when I came out to the garage to ask - He had ALREADY noticed and fixed the problem for free. I was having issues with our garage door keypad and remotes. Tony installed a new keypad and informed me that led light bulbs can cause issues with remotes not properly working, I found a non-led light bulb which he installed for me and we no longer have issues with our remotes! Keypad is working great as well. Thanks Tony!

Everything was first class from the friendly receptionist on the phone to Mike, the service technician. Mike arrived on time, readily analyzed the problem and quickly fixed it. The gentlemen is probably the rudest man I have ever encountered in this type of industry. I asked how long it would take for the repair and he said the longer you talk to me the longer it will take me. I asked can you give an estimate like 15 mins or 6 hours and he turned away. My family owns a construction company and I will be sure to never recommend them to anyone. I’m actually shocked that anyone in customer service would talk this way.

Install went smoothly with one exception. I appreciated the tech took the extra step in calling the manufacturer in an attempt to figure out the universal remote.

Recently purchased a home and the existing opener was very old but it worked...until the first below zero day we got. It completely stopped working and the chain fell off. Called Great Garage Door and got a quote over the phone (which was more reasonable than a few of their competitors) and Tony came out the very next day within the time window I was given. Tony and I chatted upon his arrival and settled on replacing some rollers, pulleys and installing the new opener. He did a great job. Everything works great.

This was a great experience. The sales person came out gave us a an explanation of the product they had to offer and what would work best. We talked about options were able to get on their schedule fairly quickLy. Product is TOP NOTCH. They will do my next garage. I gave them five stars because the work done was absolutely wonderful and the garage door is beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the garage door installer person had a trump hat on which I did not like. I had this company replaced my garage door opener and door my opener went out after 3 years my traveler motor went out I was told by Lift master it was because the door wasn’t balance properly they did not do a good job call the company they said 119 dollars service charge plus parts if the door was balanced properly then the traveler motor would not go bad

Had some major door issues and from my first call to Chris to the installation from Dan B. was fantastic. Chris arrived and confirmed the demise of the door and after a quick survey gave me a great quote. As promised, the installer (Dan) called the next morning confirming his arrival time and was on time. Dan was fast and efficient and old door was out and the new one in (all new spring, rails, etc). No way could I have bought and installed the same thing at their price or speed. Amazing!

Bought a new R17 door for my garage due to my old door being damaged. What a GREAT experience. Worked with Chris to get ball park prices so I could compare other companies. Price was hundreds less. Door was in stock and installed within a week. Even before some of the other companies could get out to give me an estimate. The installer was excellent, CJ really knew what he was doing and did a wonderful job. This is a QUALITY door, great warranty, priced right with excellent installation. Look around if you want but you will end up buying here.

One of our torsion spring broke the other day. Looked into replacing it myself, but it can be a dangerous task if you’re not experienced. Would’ve been ~$90 in parts. Called Great Garage Door Co for a quote, which landed on $219. That included same day service, replacing both springs, 5yr warranty and are coming the garage door. Fantastic value!!! The technician who came out was extremely nice and professional. Very very happy and will keep on using this company!

This past Friday my 2 car garage door spring decided to snap. I called Great Garage Door at noon and they said someone would be able to arrive between 1-4:00. I was blown away that they were able to send Brian out the same day. Brian arrived and was professional, and answered all my questions. He installed a new spring in no time. Thanks Brian for saving the day and not having my cars trapped in the garage since it was too heavy for myself to open by hand. A few days after mine broke my friend that lives in Stillwater also had her spring break too. She also had GGD come out the same day and fix hers as well.

Love my new doors! Jake moved the tracks up a bit so they wont rust because of a low spot in the garage.

I originally had a garage door installed, but one of the panels had some slight damage. It was obvious to me that the damage did not occur during installation, but rather it was delivered that way. While initially disappointed, another installer (Matt) was back in several days and swapped out the damaged panel. It was then that he noticed a piece of weatherstripping that was mis-cut and needed to be replaced. While quite minor, he was back the next day and corrected that issue as well. Great Garage Door Co. made things right.

I had a very loud garage door and I purchased the rubber belt door opener and I got an appointment next day. Josh was my installer and I got to say he went above and beyond his job. He was efficient and very informative. I am loving how quiet the new door opener operates and thanks to Josh because not only is the new equipment excellent but a lot has to do with how well the installer does. The original garage opener was only installed two years ago so it was definitely not old but what did not help and Josh pointed this out, was that the installer did not correctly mount the plate to the wall correctly. So at the end of the day I am definitely a very satisfied customer. Excellent work Josh!
