I purchased a Wolf scooter brand new from this store. The staff was more than willing to sell me the scooter And treated me great. It currently has 100 miles in on it. We have had nothing but problems with it. I’ve had to have it serviced by other shops three times. Every time I try to reach MotorWorks they respond, but when they find out it’s for service they never answer my calls or return my messages or texts. They have awful customer service and definitely not a place I’d ever spend my money again. This is very unfortunate, As I’m all about putting my money into the local guy and supporting his business. But I refuse to advertise and recommend a company that doesn’t follow through with their products.

Definitely a place we will go back for upgrades. Jake took very good care of us (which after reading the reviews was no surprise). He made sure that we were able to go take a look at a side by side and once we purchased it he and his crew installed hand controls on the vehicle for us, he stated this was their first time installing them and they did a great job! The crew stayed well past quitting time to make sure we had our new toy for the weekend. Couldnt ask for better customer service..OH and the Can Am Commander is FANTASTIC!

This is the only place to buy your scooter/moped from. I had an amazing experience with Jake and Minnesota Motoworks. Personalized service, great selections, and local great guys. I bought a used moped from Jake. They did a full check of it before they delivered it. I had issues with my bank allowing the payment to pass. Jake was cool the entire process. I recommend this place to everyone!!

I recently purchased a new moped through them and couldnt be happier. Jake took the time to show me some different options without any high pressure sales tactics. When I selected the moped I wanted, the purchase was smooth and I was out the door with my bike. These guys rock! Great moped for a great price, especially for a college kid who doesnt want to break the bank getting to work. Even delivered on the U of M campus and took care of registration (it took forever to get to me but it wasnt their fault at all). The service was great! Ive been going here for my car an my motorcycle service. Just got new tires on the bike, brake pads, and fluids changed. Was in an out and did a fantastic job. Not to mention they always have a great inventory to look at, every time Im in I think about selling/trading my bike or just getting another toy. They have this SWEET 08 Yamaha R6 there now. Man I want it.

A great place to purchase from. This was one of the best experiences that I have ever had purchasing a trailer. No pressure, no surprises unlike places I have been in the past. Jake took time out of his Sunday to show me the trailer and was up front and honest about everything right away. He was great to deal with as I could not pick it up for a week. This is the place to take your scooter! I had a hard time finding someone to work on my 87 Honda Elite locally and had almost given up getting it repaired. Then I found Minnesota Motorworks on the Internet. They were friendly, quick, efficient and did a great job on the tuneup. My scooter is running like a champ now AND it was much less expensive than I thought it would be. I drove an hour one way to get to Minnesota Motorworks and it was worth it!! Had to text him because he doesnt answer the phone. So I texted him and he claimed he was out on a delivery. Not true because I showed up 4 min later and he was just in the shop doing stuff. Jeff would barely use words. I had to keep asking basic questions about the scooters he had. He obviously didnt take me seriously AT ALL. He wasnt willing to spare a single word that he didnt have to. Not one. It was awkward. And inventory? MINIMAL. Ill bring my 4K elsewhere.And the response he sent is lies. I asked him...okay whats the lightest bike? Okayyyy.....what does that cost.... okay what are those ones on that side? Okayyy what do those ones cost.... when a salesperson isnt engaged, its awkward. Anything i need to know about scooters since ive just began looking??? ....... no. Ok. Thnks.

I was a little disappointed my wife and I rode from Lakeville to Blaine to test and possibly buy a scooter there. Everything was all set according to the text i received the night before. When we arrived the scooter was BLOCKED in and we were told wed have to fill out a bill of sale in order to prove we are interested. That to me was sketchy as you know what. I will drive further to be treated better.

I purchased a 2012 Piaggio scooter from Jake in June and can only describe the whole transaction as FLAWLESS. I had researched Piaggio scooters for a month and had decided on the make and model. I just couldnt find what I wanted local. I was skeptical about buying out of state and not ever seeing in person what I was purchasing. I contacted Jake and negotiated a fair price. I second guessed myself several times about spending this amount of money for a purchase of this size over the net and out of state. Nervously I took the plunge and purchased the scooter online.Jake is a stand up guy, he arranged transportation through his carrier at a lower price than U ship and kept me informed along the way the whole time VIA email and phone. My scooter arrived undamaged and in perfect shape in an enclosed trailer from the Transportation Company. Ive had the scooter for a couple of months now and have put 1000 miles on it with ZERO problems. I recently purchased a used 50cc Taotao scooter from Jake at Minnesota Motorworks. I also got it for a screaming deal considering the shape it was in. However, after 3 days of driving it, the timing belt gave out. Jake drove out to my apartment, picked up the scooter and replaced the timing belt and performance variator free of charge. The scooter now runs great, and I couldnt be happier with the service I received. I will certainly be a returning customer, and I recommend Minnesota Motorworks to anyone interested in purchasing or repairing a motor vehicle. Hands down best service Ive ever received.

I went to Minnesota Motorworks to look at some scooters I saw online. When I first pulled up I thought I was at the wrong place. It looked like a strip mall. So I went in the building and it was a warehouse with a slew of scooters. It looked like Christmas. Jake introduced himself and showed me around. He was very informative and not like a salesman at all. Which is a good thing. He actually recommended a much cheaper (in price) scotter. He was flexible on the price and allowed me to spilt the cost into 2 payments. He then further advised that he would perform a tuneup (costing $200) for free. When I advised that I would need assistance getting the bike home he said he could deliver it for next to nothing. If that wasnt enough I was looking at some helmets while he was filling out paperwork. He turned to me and said that I could have the helmet. He offered a 30 day warranty and said if I had any questions or concerns that I could always bring the scooter back in to be looked at.I cant say enough positive things. If youre contemplating a scooter I would suggest you go to Minnesota Motorworks. They know their stuff and their only there to help you. I will certainly be a repeat customer.

This place is a scam!!!!!! do not buy from them on paper they say they were selling me a 2015 moped but when the title come home from MN on the title of the moped was 2014. call the owner and he said that 2014/2015 are all the same ...so? tell me how is that all the same??? theres a year manufacturer there foe a reason... was not willing to help or negotiate.....

Im very happy with my 2016 Can Am Defender HD8 that I purchased @ MInnesota Motorworks. Jake worked with me to take my snowmobiles in on trade and delivered the UTV, along with the UTV accessories to my home in western Wisconsin. It was a positive experience & I highly recommend MM for all of your recreational vehicle needs.
