Update 11/17/20: Audiotronics came out and fixed everything. They explained they had several medical issues that had caused them to drop the ball. With everything going on right now in the world that is understandable and they took responsibility for the issues. Often even just accepting responsibility very much speaks to the professionalism of the company. I very much appreciated them coming out to fix everything and would continue to do business with them. Now if I could just get Stateson to fix all their issues.Old:Paid for an installation on a home in conjunction with the contracting company, but the end product was rather unfortunate. 2 of the outlets were placed in locations other than the plans, a 3rd I had to take apart to fix. The box that was installed had cat6 that was cut too short to run effectively out through the bottom of the utility box that was provided. None of the cables were capped, so apparently I only received a partial complete job. I made several attempts to contact the company and they stopped responding. I was already wary about doing business with them, but the contracting company said thats who they have an agreement with. Ive already filed with the contractors on the improper install as well to which they agreed it wasnt done right once they came out and looked at it. Im about $500 into my own time and tools now with unfortunately no recourse.

Good local place to get audio and visual equipment, they definitely know way more than the people at Best Buy. Prices might be a little higher but most the time they will match them or get close also they will show you all the features of the product and most products on display for demonstration.

GREAT service in the Apple department! Solved my problems quickly, offered options, and even helped me navigate a glitch I had when out of the country. I just called them and they helped me out.

Last transaction cost them a star. Purchased a very expensive set of speakers on clearance, but new in sealed box. When I picked them up they were marked as a store display from Hollins, there was a big yellow sticker on the box. Speakers work great and had all accessories, but I wish I had been told the truth up front.

DONT COME WITH APPLE PRODUCTS. Took a week for them to get back to me about my Mac and then it was going to take another week at least to fix it. Apple store took care of it in two days and ended up doing it for free even though it was out of warranty (more of a plus to Apple, but something Audiotronics could never offer). Dont come here with Apple products - the drive to an Apple store is worth it. They also charge you just to look at your Mac. I realize theyre a business and need to make money, but youll save at least $100 by going to an Apple store. And youll get your Mac back faster. Win win win.

Competitive prices and authentic equipment. Nice staff, very helpful.its a small facility located just off exit 5a 460 bypass in Christiansburg/Blacksburg region. They offer repair services and products of a variety of equipment.The lighting cord & power supply on my wifes iPad went missing while she was at the hospital. we needed a new one quickly for her to do her school work. I called multiple places. including the cellular companies This was the only place that had one other than Best Buy, and Adiotronics was 3 dollars less per item than Best Buy.When I called, the staff was patient, helpful and kind. they pulled the products for me and had then waiting for me at the register when I arrived. They were easy to find and knowledgeably answered every question I had, even as I continued to think of more once I was ready pay for the products.they carry a variety of electronics, including flat screen led theater systems to cell phone and tablet accessories.They have decent hours, the staff is very help , and the are in a fairly good location.You will hopefully be pleased with them if you have the need for their services.

Fair priced and closest authorized Apple repair shop to Virginia Tech (that I know of).

If you take your Mac product in for service to Justin Mann in the Blacksburg branch, you will never go anywhere else. On about 4 occasions my son or I have needed his assistance with our MacBook Pro laptops and in each instance Justin has exceeded our expectations for customer service, price and turn-around time. He is very thorough and in at least one case did extra research to find a service bulletin that covered our issue under warranty even though we were out of the original warranty period. I have dealt with Audiotronics(formerly Scottys) for over 40 years. I even worked in the store as a college student.As opppsed to the lack of help in the big box stores, you can depend on personalized service, warranty followup, and solutions to your most perplexing problems.Most recently I bought a new SONY smart TV and needed guidance pairing it with my surround sound. No problem, just a coaching phone call and we were fixed.In November I had the blessing of having audio technician Hunter install a new audio system including rear speakers and Kenwood receiver in our new motorhome. He did a masterful job which looks factory installed. Great job on my back up camera

I cracked my 2015 MacBook Pro 13 Retina Displays screen a few weeks before school started. I looked around for a bit for a repair shop and came across Audiotronics and was surprised at how good the reviews were. I called and they gave me an estimate for the repair (believe they said around $575-600), bit my lip, and took it in (Im a broke college student!). I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon and paid a $99 deposit. On Monday they called me and confirmed the price: $454 to order the part from Apple and $120 for labor (sales tax ended up being $24.06). I gave them the go ahead and they ordered the part. The next day, they already had it ready for pick up! I just got my MacBook back and I am extremely pleased. Not only did they do an excellent job at repairing the screen, but they touched up other parts as well. I had a few dings and scratches from a few small drops and bumps, and they took the time to fix these as well as the screen with no extra charge. My Mac now looks practically new: its clean and has virtually no physical damage. Apple products are great until they break, but I definitely recommend Audiotronics if you want to save some money, help a small business, and have your computer in the best of hands.

Recently, we were part of a lightening strike in the neighborhood and some of our TV components were damaged. Kim Scott came out almost immediately to help us get back on line and restore service. He continues to check on us to make sure things are working properly. Mike Price has been an angel forever because we are technology challenged and constantly bug him about the controls and other technology issues. He has always been patient and courteous with us. Justin Mann is our go-to-guy for all things computer related. No question is irrelevant and he is quick to diagnose problems and reassure us that our computers are functioning as they should.We bought our first TV from Scottys (now Audiotronics) back in the 60s when we first came to Blacksburg. We have bought every TV since then from Scottys (now Audiotronics) and we would never consider purchasing one anywhere else. Think about it - The place has been in business for over 50 years! How have they managed to stay in business for this long???? This is unheard of!! They beat out the competition then, and they run with the big dogs of the big box stores now and successfully compete with them on a daily basis! The prices at Audiotronics are always competitive. Their service is spectacular, and their honesty, fairness, and integrity should be a model for businesses everywhere.Having dealt with the business for approximately 50 years, I can truthfully say the personality and character of the business has not changed. The staff has the same attitudes now as it did back in the 60s - friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. I would never consider going anywhere else for my electronic problems and needs.

Audiotronics is one my favorite places to shop. I have brought everything from TV’s, car stereo, home audio, and many more items. There are many reasons I go hear instead of big box stores. The first is I can get someone to help me I don’t have to go searching for someone all over the store. Another reason they know there product. The staff has a great way of telling me about the product in a way that I can understand. One of the salesmen I deal with is Mike Price. He always has done me right. Never felt like he was trying to get one over on me. A lot of people think that they will overpay there. This is not true the Sony TV I bought there was cheaper there than Bestbuy or HH Greg.
