Excellent service and very responsive. Had a tire fall off my lawn mower which I have purchased there and have serviced there. Called to see if it could be looked at soon. I left a message with the service manager and he called me back within a few minutes and said to bring it in. Within 2 hours of bringing it in I had a text that it was fixed. Thank you!

This past weekend I was shopping for a good weed trimer. In visiting Acme Electric, I was very impressed at the knowledge of the person helping me. Not only did I end up walking out with a Stihl trimmer which after using the first time, I fell in love with. I was given a training session on how to properly start and operate the trimmer. I would not only recommend Acme Electric, I would highly recommend Acme Electric!

Bought a Milwaukee set, said free battery comes with purchase. I triple checked with everyone there that a free battery comes with it. Right when my card went through, the sales person says they don’t give the battery’s right away. They have to order them. Two weeks later, give a buzz and no body knows anything.Customer service was very poor, was getting judge mental looks the whole time there and then get lied too about a battery! Go somewhere else, horrible place!

Horrible place to order parts. The woman in the parts department is very rude, acts like she doesnt wanna be there, and do not ask for over night parts itll take a week at the price of over night.

I’ve been spending no less than a, 1000 bucks a month on nails, for the last two years, not to mention all the tools for the last ten years. They recently got a new sales rep, and couldn’t deliver to my job site. So I had to go to there store and pickup my nails, I figured they would match the price that I’ve been getting from the rep. But No the manager in the store charged me full price, and wouldn’t work with me. They just lost a good customer.

I needed a special grinding wheel and they were able get it in two days it was not a stock item. In Bismarks store, but they took the time to find it in Fargo, and got it for me. Thanks.

I wish there was a competitor that had the same/similar range of products and services. Acme service is consistently poor. Both at the stores and with online orders. Wait times are long, and prices are often steep too. Ive experience both the Grand Forks and Bismarck locations for many years.Recently I placed an order online, and waited a month, then called and was told that the item was discontinued. In spite of this, my credit card was charged. Further, instead of getting me a replacement part, they only cancelled my order, and told me the replacement part costed 2 times as much. They were unwilling/unable to send me the replacement part number for the same price.Needless to say, Ill be avoiding Acme Tools as much as possible. I hate to do this because I like supporting local stores. However, in a world where online competition is tough, brick and mortar companies really need to excel at customer service. When they cant do this, its their own fault they lose business.

Customer service for sales is great, if you approach them as people and are polite they will bend over backwards to help you. They have exchanged faulty equipment no questions and have been very helpful with problems far outside of warranty periods. Parts & service is great the parts take a little while to get in but they get parts cheaper than anywhere even the internet.Go somewhere else for rental ... their rental department is deplorable.

Call for information and parts availability, they never answer to phone and never call you back. Your better off using the internet and finding the parts yourself.

Went in to purchase a $300 jobsite radio, while testing it out I cranked it up to check out the sound. The one guy behind the counter rudely said were trying to conduct business over here. Told him Id buy it somewhere else.

Customer service sucks never order from them again

A few of the sales staff is great and do what they can to help. But I must say, management is terrible. Most of the time they are too busy drinking coffee, reading the newspaper or watching some sports program on TV. Watching TV and not helping customers is bad business. Plus, when you see customers in the store and all of the sales staff is too busy talking to each other at the front counter, that is also bad business. Get rid of the TV, there is no need for it unless it displays work related content, such as sales and/or promotions. Get rid of the coffee machine and the popcorn machine. They hinder work progress and doesnt help the customers when you have employees eating and drinking all the time. In my opinion, Acme employees should be stocking shelves, checking counts, checking shelves or pegs for damage and replacing them as needed, resets, doing more work instead of standing around.

Customer service is in need of help. Mgr in parts sold me a kit that was suppose to fit my Still product. It didnt and they wouldnt return it due to package being opened. There arent alot of ways to see if things fit without removing them. Lady behind the counter was very grumpy. Made up for it later though as I ran into a friend who was going to purchase some equipment from there. Told him what happened and he went elsewhere. I will continue to do that whenever I can.

The worst customer service possibly ever!! Rented faulty equipment not once but twice! The first time the brakes seized the second they gave me the wrong key for the machine and didnt have it in working order! I had dragged the equipment four hours away just to find out it didnt work. Since it was Friday that I rented it the machine wasnt operable until mid day Monday. Then upon return not only did they not credit me for the days they overcharged me! The deal is three weeks = one month as far as price. I paid for two weeks then upon the second two weeks I got charged for another month! With this kind of customer service they are not looking for repeat customers.
