RUN RUN RUN!!! If I could give a zero, I would. I wish I had read the reviews before using this company for my medical equipment need. I only used their equipment for 7 days but they are billing me for an additional 22 days. My care was completed December 30th, but they are billing me through January 21st. The equipment was back in the possession of their sales rep the beginning of January. I should not be charged anything for January and no one at Apria is interested in correcting this billing error. In fact, after reviewing my payment receipts and the payments made by my insurance company, we are both due a refund. I should not have to pay for the break in communication between the sales rep and Aprias Billing Department and there definitely should be a law against medical companies filing fraudulent claims to insurance companies and swindling patients. My advice, seek other options before using this company.

Billing has been an absolute nightmare. I have two insurance policies one being a secondary. I was told I would owe $54 after all services are rendered. I paid the $54 and I continually get a phone call for $295 which I do not owe. It is also someone from a Third World country that I cannot understand and will not ever stop to discuss the bill with me. This is been an absolute nightmare and I will look elsewhere for my replacement supplies.

The patient portal has been broken for at least a year. Ive had THREE orders magically lost even though Ive received confirmation emails. Same story every time when I chat with support - were sorry we have no idea what happened can you please call to place your order. This is 2021. I DONT WANT TO CALL TO PLACE AN ORDER. Im officially done with Apria and giving my money to somebody else. Anybody else.

I agree that you should run from this company. They have owed me a refund for two months and I have not received it yet. Customer service is not good. Promise of supplies on time is not expected. You will have to contact your care provider to help you obtain them. Saddddd!!!!

Just absolutely awful customer service. I would 100% give 0 stars if I could I have been calling for at least 7 weeks for a CPAP machine. One person says they can service my location, another person says they cannot. Conflicting information! They are inconsistent and clearly do not know what they are doing. I will recommend anywhere besides Apria Healthcare. Just terrible. I should have followed advice RUN! Dont walk from them Let me stress: RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

UPDATE: FAST FORWARD TO 2021. THEY ARE BILLING ME FOR ALMOST $300 AND CAN NOT TELL ME WHAT ITS FOR!! I HAVE SPENT ABOUT 2 HOURS TOTAL TRYING TO GET MY ACCOUNT CORRECTED AND HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE! I TRIED TO GET THE BRANCH MANAGER (MICHAEL) TO CALL ME BUT INSTEAD DIANNA CALLS BACK AND SAYS HE ISNT GOING TO CALL ME. SHE JUST SAYS TO CALL THE RESUPPLY TEAM WHICH IS WHERE I STARTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. THESE PEOPLE ARE A JOKE. AFTER I GET THIS STRAIGHTED OUT, I WILL NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. I WOULD SUGGEST NO ONE ELSE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EITHER! TAKE NOTE OF THEIR 1.2 STAR REVIEW. THERES A GOOD REASON FOR IT!If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t go through insurance so that I could go through who I wanted. They told me one thing and they have done the total opposite. They are so over priced, I’m not even saving money by going through insurance, really. When I picked up my machine, I didn’t even go to an office, they just met me in a messy waiting room and told me to sign a bunch of stuff said a bunch of stuff really fast and pushed me on out the door. They didn’t tell me anything about the machine, they didn’t do any sort of fitting to see what head gear and cushion worked best for me. Heck, they didn’t even get a quick measurement to get me the right size of the stuff they chose for me. When you call, you get someone from over seas who you can’t understand and they will not transfer you to a local office!! Terrible!! I am working with my insurance to use someone else for my breathing machine supplies! It’s been a mess from the get go.

If I could give them 0, I would. Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with to get supplies for patients. My patient had a new trach placed and the hospital referred him to Apria for his humidication system with supplies and they denied his order for no reason. He’s covered by Medicare and this company said that they are Medicare contractors. No one even called to let the patient know that his order was cancelled. My patient went days without this equipment and could’ve ended back in the hospital because he didn’t have it. When I asked to speak with the billing department to see why it was denied, they wouldn’t allow me to speak with anyone. Definitely will never refer a single person to them ever again. Med South took care of everything in one day.

Seriously hate to give such a bad review but this company has the WORST customer service that Ive ever been exposed to - even worse that it is a medical company where oftentimes a life hangs in the balance. Run, dont walk, to any other option you might have for services other than Apria.***Dont be fooled by their comments on these posts to try and appear to be resolving anything!! I sent the information they requested in their reply two weeks ago and havent been contacted regarding my complaint. My review stands and I hope that their attempt to look as if they are actually responding to these complaints falls short with this additional information!

If i could give a 0 I would. Awful customer service. Cant get anyone to answer the phone or call back. The driver was a hateful back talking man. No one cares about the customer service but when they called to renew super nice. Account was on auto draft so imIsure that was the reason. It is 12:37 pm Ive beebewaiting since 8 am for them to call me back with an ETA so i called and told them to just pick it up. This is the second day Ive rescheduled my work because of them. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY! Lots of companies to choose from out there.

For the sake of your life, do not use this company. They proved to be a complete disaster to work with from the time they promised services would be rendered to the time they promised again and didn’t come through to the time they promised again and failed yet again to the time I received a refund 2 months after the fact. I can only assume my encounter with them was an outlier because if it’s the norm they would be out of business. Again, complete incompetence from customer service to operations to billing. Shockingly bad.

If I could give a LOWER rating, I would. I have never despised a company so greatly. Every interaction has been chaotic, unhelpful, and infuriating. I cancelled my service with them months ago, and just saw that they posted a new charge on my credit card today! I am furious. Even when I thought I was done with them, I still have to fight with them. DO NOT USE APRIA!!!

Where do I start?!! Mother being discharged from hosp with oxygen. Apria & another local co, immediately vying for our business before discharge. Supposedly (you learn these things later) Apria has already run moms insurance & medicare & tells us there will be NO Charge. Other company was, come to find out, more honest & tells us at the most it will be $30/month (obviously b/c they had not yet run her insurance). At least they were honest. Unfortunately, we went with Apria. All goes fine until a couple weeks later i receive a letter from Apria stating the prescribing dr. is not in their PECOS system and if i do not get them enrolled within 10 days we the customer will be billed. They know/knew good & well the dr. was in their PECOS system b/c the hospital obviously contracts with these companies! Not to mention the hospital we were in is the largest in the state. How could they NOT be in their system? Whatever PECOS is. So, i call the case mgr at the hosp. & she confirms everything. They ARE in PECOS & Apria knows they are. So i tell Apria to call her & give them hospital phone & fax number & case mgr. name. Never heard another word. Then it comes time for her to come off oxygen & nebulizer. So, I call Apria to tell them to pick up equipment & understandably they say they need a STOP order from the prescribing dr. So I get the dr. to fax one over. Every time I call Apria they act like they dont have certain information but if you persist all of a sudden they find it. They also kept starting each call I made with you owe $380 would you like to pay now? I kept telling them we do not owe anything. So they move on to why youre calling. We then start receiving bills that we owe. Finally I call insurance & she states Apria has never once tried to file a claim & that oxygen & nebulizer ARE covered at NO COST! She also stated that PECOS is not our (the customers) problem. It should have been Apria handling that (even though it was a scam to start with). Insurance lady calls Apria with me on the phone & puts them in their place. Now all of a sudden - we have no charges. I should have gone with local company & looked at reviews first. You can use this company just be sure you note & date every call & get insurance involved & go ahead & check with your insurance first yourself to see if you will be covered. And by the way - the local guy at Apria, after the initial sales spill has never once returned my calls. His name is Michael. And their delivery & pick up guy is simply rude. You can understand why b/c of the company he works for. Its a shame. Feel sorry for those without help.

My Mom was realeased from the hospital one week ago. She was to have been delivered a Nebulizer that day. We have yet to receive it. I have called consistantly. Today I just have lost all patience. She needs this machine to do her breathing treatments as she has pneumonia. She’s 88 years old and her 02 levels are fluctuating. This has been the worst experience ever. If the unit is not delivered today, we will be switching all of her Oxygen equipment to another provider.

Service was ok while I was with them, but leaving has been a nightmare. They have repeatedly found more charges to bill me for. Then, after being told Id paid everything, theyd bill me again, then tell me I owed nothing when I called. Despite having multiple invoices from them showing I paid everything and have no balance, they have now sent $9 to collections, more than a year after my last service. A rep has said that the debt was forwarded erroneously and that theyll get it zeroed out, telling me (again) that I dont owe anything. How do you send a debt I dont owe to a collections agency?! If its not cleared this time, Im calling a lawyer, because multiple calls to them over the past months have been ineffective at clearing this up before now, and Im tired of spending an hour on the phone every few weeks dealing with them.

Terrible customer service. Everytime my aunt has a problem or need, it takes days or weeks to correct. Now, for the past 2 days her InogenOne portable oxygen condensor has been not working. Apria said yesterday that a replacement would be delivered by 10:00pm. Was not delivered. Today, by phone they said it could be delivered by noon. Now, they customer service line and eta.apria is saying delivery between 9-9:30 PM when the office clearly closes at 5:00. When my uncle was on oxygen, he was with another company locally and when we called they were there within a few hours. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

I agree with the woman who posted Run! Dont walk away from this company!.After my veteran son sustained an explosion to the face and after 2 months in hospital, I was able to bring him home to continue surgery here. The salesman who brought the suction machine for us to take on the plane (Portland, OR office) did not even check to see if there was a battery in the machine!!!!! My son had a tracheostomy and had required frequent suctioning. Miraculously he did not need to be suctioned while on the plane and we couldnt have anyway until the stop in Las Vegas. At this stop in Las Vegas is when we realized there was no battery!!! God took care of him for the rest if the longest part of the journey home. If he had had alot of mucus and couldnt cough it up he could have died. I should have sued them but was so covered up in caring for him I couldnt do one more thing. If I could give them a ZERO I would!! This is for the Portland, OR office.

I wish I had read the reviews before I started this nightmare. This is singlehandly the worst company I have ever dealt with ever. My Dr ordered my portable concentrator 9/23, 8 days later when I called to check on the progress they said the Dr didnt write the script correct and I needed to call and get it fixed. Which I did. 8 days later they said they were not a prefered company for my insurance. (Wrong) got that fixed, then they said they didnt have the concentrator in stock it was om backorder. It would taked 6 to 8 weeks to get it. Its been 7 weeks so i called today for a progress update. They told me they just got the new script from the doctor on Oct 9th today is the 15th. They said they had to have 8 days to process the order. I disputed that told him it was not acceptable that I wanted to talk to his supervisor. He told me the supervisor would call me today. So far nothing. They l lie. If you catch them in a lie, they will lie to cover up the lie. Do to insurance rules i cant drop them. But its like this every time I have had to deal with them. Do yourself a favor and find another company.
