Great food for a great price and made quickly

Food is very good and im going back again.

Literally don’t waste ur time. They’re always closed. 3 times now I’ve driven after work to get there before closing only to hear they’re closing early. Every time. Workers don’t wanna be there.

I love everything I ever put in my mouth here. The service is amazing. The lovely Nadia will take care of you and make sure you have some super dank grub in your stomach when you leave. The motif makes you feel like youre in downtown NYC. Stop on by and get yourself some food from this awesome downtown spot.

Ms. Nadia has THE BEST food with the best prices! And in less than 15 minutes. I love going in to see her, and Manhattan has became my favorite weekday lunch spot! It goes beyond the food, though. She genuinely cares about her customers. Go give her a visit and see what you have been missing!

We had a breakfast sandwich here and it was great. The lady running the place was friendly and food was delcious.

Me and my friend went to this place on an evening. We tried their food and drinks. We were really happy with the quality they served. Moreover, the place a very different and unique vibe. We went their just for a drink or two, but we ended up spending around 3 hours at this place. The place has a very good vibe that binds you in itself and you enjoy staying there. The staff was really polite and made sure that we got each and every service in time.

My first of many visits! I really wanted a taste of home today and thats kinda hard to find here (Chicago). I got exactly what I had in mind. Its just something about a deli that does it for me that a lot of commercial places cannot!!! Im a transit bus driver and the wonderful woman acknowledged it immediately as to expedite my order. I wasnt in a rush because I hadnt started my shift so I waited and took in the atmosphere. I forgot I was in Alabama. It felt like home or truly... New York!! I ❤️ it! Thanks my Cuban sandwich and fries were what I needed💋💋💋💋

This is a great place

I love this place!! And the grilled chicken salad is to die for!!! The chicken marinade is wonderful! You HAVE to try it!!! I was scared to eat salad after the recent scare, but apparently that tainted stuff comes out of Florida. Nadia is very careful about ordering her produce and she makes sure that her food is safe for her customers. She really cares. :)

This place is very cheap. Price for a Cuban sandwich was $12.00 plus a can of coke which is usually .75 cents was about $2.00. The food was not good at all. The sandwich was not a Cuban sandwich, it was some meet stuffed in a regular sandwich bread and it wasnt even pressed like a Cuban should be. Fries were ok, but didnt even get enough. I couldnt even finish the sandwich, was still hungry and wasted $15 on a sandwich. Very disappointing. Will never go back.

Great owner and atmosphere. The food is delicious and probably has the most variety of meals for your appetite. Not only is the food great but it is probably one of the more reasonable and affordable places to eat in the Downtown Birmingham area. I work across the street and eat here frequently.

Im not usually a cheese steak person, but I got the chicken philly lunch special and it was delicious! I would definitely get it again. Service was pretty fast and lady at the counter was really nice. FYI, drinks are no longer included in the combos unless you get one of the daily lunch specials.

I love this place. All the food is great, and the service is even greater!! The Chicken Kabob is my favorite, but the Cheeseburger and Philly Cheesesteak are high on my list of favorites too.

So much on the menu that I want to try, but I find it hard to order anything but the philly! Perfect for lunch and definitely one of the more affordable places in the area to eat at!(Edit: finally tried the burger. Wasnt impressed. Going back to the Philly)Knocked off a star because refills are not included on the public facing fountain drinks. If you didnt want it to be self service, please consider putting it behind the counter instead of taping up a makeshift sign.

My first time at manhattan deli I order chicken wings for myself and seafood plate for my grandmother and it was amazing!!!!! 😍 The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I will definitely go back again and again!!!!!

Best Reuben sandwich since Ive visited in NYC nearly 11 years ago. Restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly with great customer service. The Cook personally came out to check if everything is OK and if I like the food, which in my opinion provides a great relationship between business and customer. I live in Homewood and drive at least 2 times a week to go eat there. One of the best food spots in Birmingham. Lol need to call triple D on them!!

No public bathroom or hand washing station. Refills are 50 cents.My chicken gyro was rubbery and with a pittance of fries and a drink set me back 12 bucks. The fries arent bad though.

Nadia continues to deliver great breakfasts and lunch at MD&G. Located right on 20th street in downtown Birmingham they have outdoor seating and a wide selection of sandwiches and other tasty entrees. I have been coming here on and off for at least ten years and my favorite is the gyro combo. For breakfast try the bacon croissant!
