Recently I received an email saying that my iPhone was due for replacement, so I went to the Verizon Wireless Authorized Retailer nearest me: 135 South Old Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, Michigan. That turned out to be a very good decision!The man who helped me was Marcus Russell, Senior Wireless Consultant. I appreciated that he took time to ask me (and listen) to how I use my phone, what my needs are in a new phone, and what fits into my budget. I got the feeling that I wasnt just another customer, but that he sincerely wanted me to be happy with my purchase.We discussed various options, and I decided on an iPhone 8. It took a few days for it to be delivered since its an older model, but Marcus immediately called me as soon as it arrived today. He transferred all the apps and data for me while I went away for an hour. When I got back, everything was ready and my new phone works great! It has all the features I love about my old phone, plus some new ones that Im eager to explore.Marcus made sure I understood all the details of my payment plan along with how to get help if I have any questions about my iPhone. He really treated me like a member of his family. Im sure I wasnt his most important customer of the day, but I never felt rushed and I believe I got an excellent value because of his expertise and kindness.I gladly give this store my highest recommendation.

Three days later, after walking into this VZW, I not only had a new purple phone, but an iPad with $200 off, to boot. Thank you. Went in today new customer. They are following the guidelines for safety. Joseph was kind, and showed me compassion because it was my first time in a store other then shopping for food since the pandemic. He even wiped my money off before he gave it to me. Honestly my anxiety was high and it wasnt crowded and he was remarkable. He told me all the features of this phone and explained all the paperwork. Cause conversation helped easy my anxiety. He was professional, compassionate, and I absolutely hate phone shopping. He made it the best experience I ever had. I left AT&T for Verizon because of their piss poor customer service. Joseph is fantastic. He stayed after hours to help us. There was some discrepancy between the store and online offer which we were availing off. He made sure to annotate it so they can honor it and I will call Verizon customer care this week. They have generally offering amazing service I don’t anticipate any concerns.

I chose this verizon store because of the great reviews but walked away pretty disappointed. Not sure if I just caught the employee off guard, or maybe hes new, but he told me through verizon you have to choose a payment plan, you cant just upgrade the phone and pay the retail price. He also told me they didnt have the phone in stock, Id have to travel over 2 hours to get it. I told him Id just order it off Amazon and bring it in to activate it. After calling verizon customer service I was told not only is the phone in stock at the Verizon store across town (10 minutes) but I can also pay retail price, no payment plan needed. :/

The phone I had picked out was supposed to be at my local store today. I was disappointed when I arrived today to learn it was not there - my current phone was with my previous employer and will be shut off the first of the month - tomorrow. But my sales rep, Rick, found me the phone I wanted in Birmingham. I got great service there from Joseph, who completed my new account, new phone, cleared my employer’s phone, and did it all expeditiously and with a smile.

Joe is misleading and may lie to sell a phone. He told us we are going to get new phone based on our upgrades but we ended having to pay for new phones and the phone bills increased considerably. He then said we should call Verizon to get some of the activation fee waived but they said waiving the fee is done by the store. So he either doesn’t know what his job is or was just sending us away with a bunch of lies, again.I highly recommend not dealing with him. My experience with him was the worse I have ever had with a Verizon store. And if he says he is going to call you back then DONT BELIEVE HIM.

The Royal oak Verizon store no longer provides service when you purchase a phone. The Birmingham store on Woodward is the only place to go. I had an issue later in the evening and Jeanine provided great service over the phone. Girl power!

Kristens customer service was simply amazing. To say she went above and beyond for me would be an understatement. She listened carefully to my needs and found the best fit for me with an iPhone and iPad. In fact, the store didnt have my desired phone in stock, so she drove all the way to the Auburn Hills store to retrieve one, then called me back as promised when she had the phone at the store. She helped me pick out accessories for my devices that made sense for me and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. She was extremely friendly and courteous. I received better customer service than any visit Id ever made to a Verizon-owned store. I would highly recommend anyone come see her.

Kristen is the best retail employee I have ever met! My phone was bugging out and I ran into their store and she fixed it right away. She was super friendly and also set me up with a screen protector. She put it on perfectly and made sure I knew about the warranty the screen protector came with. I lost my receipt for the screen protector to set up the warranty online and I called the next week and she promptly texted me the receipt. If you have any phone needs go to this store when she is working! She’s not only friendly but extremely helpful too!

Had a great experience actually. Every time I go to upgrade a phone, theres some sort of problem. It was exhausting to say the least. Kristen at this location actually made it easy..From the preorder of the new s10, to picking it up and the trade in and making sure all my stuff transferred over.. it was just easy. Switch from Att to Verizon few days ago and couldn’t be happier with my service/ help I receive from Kristen E. We did some bundling and each step of the way Kristen showed me on the computer what she was doing and what my saving were gonna be very explanatory every step of process so we switch three phones and she help install a HUM for my teenage drive absolutely loved my experience there and with Kristen great work will be back for all of our needs!!
