We had the worst experience ever. We had this salesman Stuart and he was rude and when we didn’t want to get the car he wanted us to get. He said, good day. He never tried to find us something around our price range and we sat there for 2 hours and he never was around us like he should as a salesman. So, we will NEVER go back there ever. After we left the sales manager called us and told us he could find you a car, but we declined because y’all let money walk out the door. You can use good customer service towards your customers and it does help to be nice and smile. If you ever go there don’t talk to Stuart!!! The worst salesman ever and plus he was a fast talker which I didn’t like. Never again!!

Filled out the online app and went through the process to get approved. They told me I was approved with a down payment soo we set up a date and time for me to come in. Went in there to finish everything up and I sat I. There for 2.5 hrs waiting for my salesman to finish everything he comes back and says your not approved. Waste of my time.

Dougie was patient and gave me the space to think for myself and offer input when I wanted it. He allowed me to inspect the car as long as I needed to. I recommend him to all of my friends. Just went in for my free oil change but the process easy and convenient! I always get prompt and thoughtful service. The work is completed within the time period I was given and I get a courtesy phone call to let me know I can pick up my car. All I’ve had to do were oil changes and tire rotations on my 2015 Jeep Patriot High Altitudes and so far so good...

I was in the market for a used truck, preferably a Ram 1500. I ended up on Jim Burke’s website and filtered for Used Rams and found 12 that I liked. I went downtown to go look at them to figure out which I wanted and to buy it and couldn’t see any on the lot. Eventually had to go inside to get help as no one saw me circling the lot looking for the trucks. The salesman that helped us was nice but had us pull up the trucks we liked on our phones and give him the details and said he would go to his manager to find where they were. He came back saying they had none anymore, that they all had sat for 75+ days and were sold to the auction and if I was still interested I could potentially buy it back from the auction. Super shady to have many cars online you no longer have. I got frustrated I wasted my time and left to another dealer. Do not go to Jim Burke to see a car on their website, chances are they no longer have it.

I had deep scratches in my BMWs bumper and they did an excellent job with removing the scratches and repainting. The estimated cost was very reasonable for the labor involved and Josh was very cordial with his assessment and progress updates. Lifetime warranty on the work also... I highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Billy Kimble. Mr. Kimble was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Although Mr. Kimble and I went a few rounds in the negotiation process. I never felt pressured to purchase a vehicle. Jim Burke went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the deal got done. In the end....I got the vehicle that I wanted. I have yet to complete my 1st oil change, however, after reading some of the reviews about the services department...Im getting a little nervous. Im sure Mr. Kimble with assist me with this is as well if necessary. I recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to give Jim Burke a chance

Absolutely terrible dealership. BEWARE of these guys. They will say, do and will screw you any chance they get. Jim Burke Automotive was under investigation and found guilty of CRIMINAL CHARGES. Sounds like the perfect place to spend your money!Don’t be a victim of the typical used car, huckster, unethical behavior exhibited by this dealership. Just go to another dealer and purchase your car there.I’m in the process of starting litigation against them and of the 7 attorneys whom I’ve spoken to ALL of them know if this dealership and the terrible, unethical business practices exhibited by Jim Burke and its “Management”. Believe me if you have any problem or issue IT WILL NOT BE RESOLVED, it will be passed on and on to a inept GM who is the worst one. Don that works in the body shop was referred to me by a close friend and he gave me the best service I have ever had in the automotive world. He went out of his way to perform extra work on my vehicle and he it wasn’t just work for him, he cared. Not only that, everything turned out exactly how I wanted it and looked flawless. Recently had some service work due to a recall on my previously owned Hyundai Santa Fe. My experience was exceptional. The service department was very professional. Provided an area for me to wait with comfortable wait space that provided free WiFi and refreshments. They also continuously offered shuttle service to the local area while I waited. I believe Jim Burke doesnt care about customer service or customer appreciation because when you come in to the service department to get maintenance on your vehicle, the staff will avoid you like you had the plague when you approach them for help. Its like you almost have to stand in the middle of the floor and yell CAN I GET SOME HELP IN HERE PLEASE!!!. Staff in the service department will just sit behind their little desks and wont even acknowledge that you are in there until you get right in their face and tell them you need service. Maybe they are trained to be that way because customer service is only as good as the people who manage and run the company. Dreadfully, when your vehicle goes to the back to be serviced, be prepared bring breakfast, lunch and dinner with you because youre stuck and at the mercy of Jim Burke service department. I had a staff member to tell me it will take about an hour and a half for an oil change and it turned to three and a half hours. I asked a staff member how long before my vehicle is finished in two hours. The staff member check and he told me it was still on the rack. At the last service appointment, my vehicle sat on the street when they finished with the doors unlocked for I dont know how long after service and I had to hunt down a staff member to get my keys. No one came to the waiting room to let me know my vehicle was ready. And that side of town in Birmingham has vehicles broken into all the time. So let me end this rant by saying there needs to be some checks and balances of the staff at Jim Burke service department because customer service is little to none there.

Jim Burke’s body shop was great! They were able to get my car in fast and completed in a timely fashion! I picked it up yesterday and it looked amazing!! Not only was it fixed but washed and vacuumed! Each person I spoke to was very friendly and helped explain the insurance process! I recently purchased a 2017 Jeep Wrangler in July2017. I was given a voucher to have my vehicle cleaned for delivery because it was “not”ready for delivery. I took the vehicle to get an oil change recently ( 12/13/17) and wanted to use the voucher for the cleaning. I was told by the service personnel who took it over to sales, that the cleaning would not be honored. I then called a sales manager who told me that it was past 30 days and to much wear on the vehicle. I am greatly disappointed, seeing this is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Jim Burke in 12 yrs. I don’t think I will be purchasing another from Jim Burke because of this. I love Jeeps but I’ll find one elsewhere next time( 4 years). Always pleasant experience for oil changes and service though.

Craig Barnett was most helpful. First he explained exactly what would happen in terms of diagnosing my air conditioning problem. Since my car has an extended warranty he made sure I understood clearly our desired outcome and what would happen should Problem not be covered under the warranty agreement. He was very professional every step of the way.I was very pleased with my overall experience. The parts and labor ultimately were covered by my warranty agreement. They make it easy to pickup and got my car back in a reasonable and expected time frame.

I basically got some type of answering service that took forever to find my truck that I bought new there almost 7 years ago and have had serviced there ever since. The girl on the line could not answer any of my questions and told me to just ask the service advisor when I got to dealership.Other than that, everything went smoothly once I got there. Worst treatment ever from a business I was tryingto do business with... I sent my financial informationto them the day before my appointment with the sales specialist. Nothing had been run. I had to sit there while they ran my credit. The vehicle I wantedwas sold(supposedly)while waiting... Terry the Car Guy could not be bothered to show me a vehicle.To date over a month later I have not received a call back! Havent been happy with this car buying experience at all. Had some flaws I pointed out to them in the beginning. They did fix the window but it seems the car has been in a fender bender they said they will fix no it hasnt been fixed. I pointed out the dents havent been fixed. The salesman said he would make an appointment so it would be fixed I call now they dont want to be fix the car. The brakes are squealing the transm6souds horrible to pick up seed. Engine light on....this is a very stressful sight. What could it be? My emission test is due in a couple of weeks. Trying to save money I went to a car parts store and they connected their testing device which showed that I needed 2 sensors. Sensors have to be very specific. My gut told me to go to my Nissan dealer.My goodness....my dealer checked, computer got reprogrammed, nothing else needed, money saved. Did not honor valet I agreed to take my car in to drop it off and be taken and picked back up. Upon making my call to be picked up to Jim he had two individuals to drop off and wasn’t sure how long it would take and gave me David # to call for pickup. After informing him that I needed to be picked and Jim gave me him #, he asked me what was Jim doing and why he couldn’t pick me up. Told him what was told to me and he proceeded to tell me he was on the other side of the world and didn’t know how long it will be before he would get to me. I asked him where is the other side of the world. He said center point. I said ok He did come to pick me up about 25 minuets. I was stuck waiting for a pick up when my contracts comes with valet service!!

I brought my 2016 Jeep Patriot in for a wheel speed sensor. I had a 9:30 appointment. I arrived at 9 am with my 3 year old in tow. Simple right? At 11:30 they finally let me know it wasnt going to be warranty as we were out of the mileage range, which was incorrect, and was able to be corrected, and that the part was across town. Around 12:30 they come back in to let me know he was going to go get it from the Hoover dealer or it would be 3:30 or so before it was delivered. Here we sit at 3:30. FOR A SIMPLE WHEEL SPEED SENSOR!! THis waiting room is less than comfortable and with a three year old leaving and coming back with the escort service is not an option (car seat!?), there are no changing tables for diapers in ANY bathroom, no water in the cooler available even though Ive asked 3 employees now, and no one has asked if the kid needs a snack! What if I hadnt packed any? Or didnt have cash for the very small selection in the vending machine? And the tv is stuck on old westerns. You cant change it. Ive asked two employees sitting outside, both of which have said just a minute and never came in! Get it together Jim Burke. This is the WORST service we have ever gotten from a Jeep dealer. EVER. We will not be back at this rate.

This place was awful and all of these salesmen are sharks I told them I had a $380 budget monthly and they say the got me a deal for over $500 I say I can’t do that and they take off $3 a month... they guys are a joke. The selection was limited and the guys are over payed fools. Try carvana they helped me with financing and I found a car I actually wanted for a good deal. Thanks Jim Burke I would’ve never found out about carvana if your dealership wasn’t so awful.

The guy that greeted me and wrote up my ticket named Cody was great! The problem I had was i requested for oil change and tire rotation. I was told that everything was good on my car except brake pads and rotors. They failed to tell me that I needed 2 tires. The tires were slick and thin to the point where you could tell I was about to have a blow out. I dont believe they rotated my tires because there is NO WAY you could have missed the bad tires! Jim Buick receives an F for a poor job of service.

Great customer service and prompt repairs with upfront estimate and no unnecessary additional services pushed. Went to these guys many times when I lived in bham and most recently when I had a blowout and bent rim outside of bham. They worked quickly with insurance and had me fixed up and ready to go quickly. Specifically worked with Eddie this last time, but everybody there has been great in the past.

Usually good service but this last time I had my care serviced the service was horrible. I made an appointment to get my car service. The appointment was at 11:00 A.M. I arrived at 4:15pm to pick my car up and the technicians were just starting on car. I was late for my 5:00 appointment because of this. The gentleman that waited on me was very nice and apologetic but an oil change with an 11:00 appointment shouldn’t take 5 hours.

I just started leasing a Subaru Impreza sport about two months ago. I had a flat tire on a Friday afternoon so I called Jim Burke right away thinking they could help me. When I called, I asked them if they have the tire in stock and when they could get me in but the guy on the phone kept saying “I’m not sure”, “ I might have to order it” “maybe you could come in...”. I asked him if he could check his inventory because I really needed my car for work Monday. He told me to call back the next morning. I re-explained to him that I really needed to figure this out because I drive for work and needed my car situated by Monday.I called Saturday morning - he said they didn’t have the tire in stock and they’d have to order it. Then he asked me repeatedly what tire I had and I told him multiple times what was written on the tire. He called back several more times to confirm what the tire was. Then he said he didn’t know when the tire would be in, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday.I called Monday morning to see if they had any update on when the tire would come in but the service department didn’t answer. Then I called someone that I had been in contact with in the leasing department. They tried to get a hold of someone in service. By the end of the day the only thing they could tell me is that they didn’t know when the tire would be in because the guy who helped me Saturday was not in. I emphasized that I really needed my car for work and that I’d been driving on a spare. They said they’d probably have a loaner car to give me on Tuesday but they’d have to get back with me in the morning.Tuesday - I heard nothing all day. No updates about my tire. Heard nothing back about the loaner. Finally I called someone in the leasing department again around 3 and they said “no ones called you yet??”By the time the guy finally got back with me he said he hasn’t been able to locate the loaner that it “disappeared”, he didn’t know why so many people were involved in this, and that the tire was still not in and he didn’t know when it would come. I told him that I was frustrated and I needed either a tire or a loaner. He said if he would have known this Friday he would have given me a loaner............Wednesday morning I was finally able to pick up a loaner car and then my tire came in and I picked up my car Thursday.Not sure why I had to chase down this guy. He couldn’t tell me straight whether they carried the tire on the car that I leased from them. And his problem solving skills were just not there. The whole experience was frustrating and now I’m not looking forward to ever getting my car serviced there - especially if I have to work with this guy every time.
