Service is a SCAM !!! I bought a pre-owned 2012 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Premium. Took it for a test drive, everything seemed normal. Asked the dealer if there is any work that’s need to be done, he said it’s all set, doesn’t need any work for a while. Literally, not even a week passed, it started showing check engine light on dashboard, took it for service, they said it will be $2,000. I said it doesn’t make any sense, I literally bought it a week ago and I have to spend another $2.000 ? So I ended up spending the $2,000 and they gave me a warranty for 12k millage. In this 12k, if anything happens, they will fix it for free. Well not even 2 months after, it started showing the check engine light again !!! Took it back to the service and they said it will be another $950. I said I have warranty on it till 12k millage, they said the warranty was not for this issue. So I ended up spending another $950. Then I tried to reach out to the service manager. I left 2 voicemail, didn’t get any response. Then I went to his office but he wasn’t there for some reason. I left a note with my name and number, still no response. I would never recommend anyone to go to this place. It’s full of scam !!!

Used car department sold me a 2011 Audi A4 with a lemon engine knowingly. When I spoke with the salesman about the oil consumption issue he tried to tell me this wasnt a common issue. Even though there was a whole class action lawsuit for this exact car!

Went to look at and test drive an Audi Q5. Salesman was Ali. Car was dirty so we asked to see it again the next morning after it was cleaned. We were asked to put a deposit of $500 to hold the car. We agreed and gave our credit card. Ali came back and said we’re not gonna take the deposit. If someone wants to buy the car before you come back, we’ll call you and you’ll have to make a decision on the spot if you want the car or not. We argued saying the only reason we’re not making a decision now is because the car is dirty and we would like to se it cleaned to get a good look. He maintained that he can send pictures of it after it is cleaned and they don’t want our deposit in case someone else comes in. Mind you, it’s 1:30 pm and we advised we would be there the next morning at 9:00am. We cancelled the deal and walked away Bunch of snakes at this place. Go elsewhere.

When I took my Q7 for regular maintenance, the service department damaged the passenger side door of my car. The service assistant said they would need to replace the door and they would provide me with a loaner.But when I insisted on not paying for the service until I see the finished job on the door, they refused to give me a loaner. Their service department manager, Ashley, said it’s their policy not to provide a loaner unless the service is paid.Not only was my car damaged by them, but I was inconvenienced greatly by not been provided a loaner.I have an A7 and a Q7 . After this experience I’m thinking about trading in both of my cars for a different brand so I would never have to deal with an Audi dealer again.

Buyer BEWARE! Deceptive dealership! Cash buyer from out of state. Dealership said car was in showroom condition - asking top price. Drove 2.5 hours with check in-hand and found huge gouge in paint on rear bumper, that was attempted cover up, a second scratch down to the metal on the rear bumper, also touched up and abrasions in a THIRD spot on the rear bumper. Was also told the car had summer/all season tires, but instead has winter tires on it. Salesman (Sam) said he “didn’t notice” any of the damage. Complete waste of time.

I have a new car. theres a noise from the wheel (it sounds) when the car goes over 50mph. Googling this issue there seems to be a lot of others who have had this problem.They claim it was the antenna on the roof which is not correct. How can they spend 4hrs on my car then tell me that? i know thats not the cause of the sound and im not in service in the automotive industry!They also did not have a loner car available for over a month. Though, i heard them tell someone on the phone that they had one for that person. They must base it off of type of service or something but maybe they could be honest about that.They also dont do body work but failed to mention that over the phone when i told them i needed some done. I assume they wanted the money for the oil change and other service i was requesting.I wont be going back and i wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

For most of my adult life Ive owned and driven only one domestic auto companys brand of vehicles. Secretly however, I’ve always wanted a German import and, being on a retirement budget now, I wasn’t sure that would be possible. As I looked around, I really liked the size, features, styling and price range of the Audi A3. I tried the two Audi dealers closest to where live, but neither seemed particularly interested or motivated in finding a vehicle with lease pricing that fitted my financial requirements.Fortunately and on a whim, I called Fred Lavery Audi, roughly 40 miles away. I spoke to a young lady named Katie and laid out my needs and wants. In what seemed like no time at all, she came back with an A3 Premium that’s now sitting in my driveway. The entire process took hours, not days. She also went the extra mile in arranging a really unconventional new car delivery for me, due to my inability to actually pick up the vehicle that day. All in all, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience dealing with Fred Lavery Audi.As for the vehicle, it’s everything one would expect from an Audi. You can literally see and feel the German engineering quality as soon as you hold the keyfob in your hand and it just gets better from there. The A3 is a pleasure to drive, as I knew it would be.My only issue with Audi in general (and this by no means specific to Lavery) is the lack of an available variety of colors and vehicle options on the lower end of the price range. Your choices are limited to basic black inside and out, 17 wheels, etc. But, its a great car.

Im happy to have been a customer of Fred Lavery for about 15 years. As the place has grown the service has improved, which is a nice reversal of the usual progression of service quality accompanying growth. So - I like the place. I like the guys who are in the service bays and those doing the write-ups, and I especially like the customer waiting area which is most tastefully furnished (Real Le Corbusier chairs!) and relaxing. Jeff in the service department at Fred Lavery Audi was courteous and thorough in attending to the service needs. He followed up as promised, my car was serviced as promised, and I was provided transportation as promised. 70K Service on recently purchased 2012 Cayenne Turbo. Was advised a major tune up was done at another dealer just 10k miles ago (I was not aware of this) so only check up, oil and brake flush were recommended. Initially, I was concerned about buying a new Porsche from Lavery based on some of the online reviews. However, I was fortunate to find a very good Sales Associate at Lavery, Dean Stanic. Dean worked through the process get an extra allocation and order the car to my specifications. The entire purchase process was low stress and pricing was very fair, especially for a car that was not in stock. The SA and dealer have been great every step of the way. The service department helped me greatly during a very difficult time! My brand new S3 was caught in a flood and the motor stalled, after being towed by Audis roadside service (TERRIFIC), I was instantly taken care of by Andy, who had my car seen in a timely manner by a mechanic, and on such short notice too. With flood damage I was expecting to hear a very grave diagnosis, but the very talented team were able to get my car like new again with me back in it on that very some night! In the end I ended up saving an additional $3k with Ahmed Shaban at Audi Birmingham. I would also add that Ahmed was a pleasure to buy from. He was always a couple steps ahead of me and knew exactly what i would want and need from him during this buying process. He worked hard to get me the best trade in values, kept me informed the entire time without being a bother, was honest and direct and he and another driver brought the car to me the next day (4 hour drive each way) and drove my two cars back - a huge benefit and time saver. Visited the service department. The staff consistently failed to communicate. I dropped the car off on a Friday early afternoon. I was given a loaner car. I was told they would reach out that day. They never did. It turns out my car would be in the shop over the weekend, but that was never communicated to me. Then on Monday, they still failed to call, so I called them. Turns out my car was ready, but no one called to tell me. When I came to pick up, I was told I would get a call the next day to see if the issue I was having was resolved (car shaking at certain speeds). Still no call. The staff member I dealt with was kind, but the lack of communication was annoying.

John and the service team are great; always professional and accommodating. The cost of service is a bit staggering for something as simple as an oil change.

The first time I brought my car in for service and everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. It was during a winter storm that was quite bad by the time they were finished so they delivered my car to me! Glad they will be my regular service department.

I had my panamera towed to Fred Lavery around 8.30 pm after it had stopped on the freeway. Even though the showroom was to close at 9, John was very helpful and stayed after 9 to take care of me and gave me a loaner to get me home. They took excellent care of the car, provided me with updates on the repairs and had my car ready in 4 days. I was given a loaner for the entire duration.The service and attitude of everyone there was exceptional

Bo in the service dept was vey helpful and friendly. He offered solid advice regarding my vehicle’s maintenance and even allowed me to use a spare office in the building to get some work done while I waited for my car to be serviced. Will definitely return!

Wow. Exceptional experience. We have been to the Grand Rapids, Farmington hills and Rochester Audi... this one BY FAR surpasses every other in terms of service. One time I needed to get new windshield wipers last minute for my drive back to West Michigan. It was terrible weather and I couldn’t wait. I called both Rochester and Farmington hills, and both could not get me in for at least a week. I called Birmingham and Ken told me to come right in and they fixed me up in less than 30 min. Ken took great care of me!!Fast forward a couple months and my check engine light came on. I called Farmington hills and they couldn’t get me in, then I called Birmingham and Ken told me to come right in. When I got there, I met Bo... one of the service consultants. HE IS EXCEPTIONAL. my car needed a part that they weren’t able to get right away, so he literally called around to other Audi’s and found one that had the part. He drove over there and service guy Clayton stayed late just so that I could get my car back the next day. Top notch service. We will never go anywhere else but the Birmingham Audi especially because of Bo’s and Ken’s high level of care for us. They really are the best!! Thank you
