They had my books and the staff was extremely helpful. Its good to still be able to grab books from a book store. Support them more before Amazon kills them.

This is a nice store and most of the staff was very friendly and helpful! Only downside is sometimes the cashier has to also work the coffee bar, and that can create wait. But overall, a great bookstore

They have a lot of books. You could get lost in this place for days. But I was disappointed I could not buy Starbucks gift card there.

I always love a good bookstore. Books-A-Million is one of my favorites. This Books-A-Million is well located well organized and fully stocked. I highly recommend it.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Staff very helpful and friendly.Let down just a little in the Adult Coloring Book Section, having no real variety and that was my main purpose going there.

Had big sale on books

I went in looking for a certain book on physics. I discovered the sections on religion and Christianity were several times larger and easier to find than the small shelf holding a pitiful selection of science and nature. Ill have to order the book from Amazon. Books a million can do better.

A major gripe with this place are the prices. Exuberant prices for literature you could get half price on Amazon or Ebay. The main attraction here is the atmosphere. Its certainly not what it used to be when I was a child, with their train set-up they had with a television in it playing childrens movies. I missed at least seeing that remain but now as an adult I really enjoy having comfortable chairs to set in and browse through a book before I buy and ALSO the coffee kiosk that serves hot and cold coffees and fruit drinks. It breeds a fantastic and extremely comfortable atmosphere.

Relaxing atmosphere! Lots of choices/varieties in books, music, magazines! Economical prices with lots of items on sale. Staff is warm, and professional! Clean/well stocked restrooms.

First visit at this location. I must say that everything was very neat and clean! Noting was out of place. I met my parents there and they purchased a Bible cover for me. This store had a great selection of covers to choose from! Very pleased!

I have been to this store twice in the past week and the staff there is awesome. There is a lovely lady named Adeline or something close to that who was a great help! I went to two other books stores before finding the book I needed there and it still wasnt in the right section but they found it for me anyway. I came back a few days later and bought more #xmas gifts just because they were helpful.

I really enjoyed my visit here the store feels a little sparse, but the staff here was super friendly and helpful. We talked to our barista for a good 5 or 10 minutes when she made our drinks, which were also very good! I found everything I needed, and will definitely be visiting again.

Helpful and friendly staff who can always help me find what book Im looking for or even tell me about new books to try. The coffee shop is delicious and the Baristas can help me figure out what I want if I dont know for sure. Amazing place to get a coffee and browse. Awesome selection of not just books but toys and collectables too. Some of the best staff of any store hands down. If they dont have it, they can get it.

I have been to many locations before but this one was very clean. The staff was super helpful with all my questions. This is THE Books-A-Million to go to for sure. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for books or a nice place to browse.

The store is ok, but the mens bathroom is another story. I walked in and I walked right back out.

They say there are used books in the store... now if I could only find them. Coffee is mediocre, service isnt very friendly or attentive, prices are average. The only thing this place really has going for it is the large selection and occasionally clearance item pricing. I love books so Ill probably be back.

I am a hard copy book lover at heart, despite having a subscription to Audible. I love having a book I can hold in my hands and make notes in.This makes me and BAM besties.I only wish they had more seating to read books and sip coffee from Joe Muggs.I also LOVE that they have TONS of Harry Potter merch. All the HP merch. And to my delight, I discovered that they also carry Horror movie/book memorabilia.They also have clean bathrooms and helpful floor staff.Tip:When you sign up for a BAM card you immediately get a $10 gift card and a 20% discount!

Ive always enjoyed going to BAM. No pressure to buy anything; peruse anything you want; and coffee.

Nice collection of books. Extremely helpful staff. Convenient location for people living around the Inverness and hwy 119. They also deal in used books which was a surprise for me.

This place opens tills 10 PM. Since it stays open late, I often get a time to stop there and get Mocha. People working there are extremely nice and I know some of them for last few years.

I wasnt sure if her name is Cari/Carl, but she was working the Joe Muggs area on 8/4/18 around 3:45pm and she has the best customer service attitude and is the sweetest woman. She personally walked us our drinks and greeted every person that walked in while doing her job. I really appreciated her hard work and felt like it needed to be shared!

This is always a stop off on the way into and past Birmingham, Ive found some nice older items here, since this is also one of the experimental hybrid stores, part traditional BAM and part Second and Charles, which is owned by the same company. Driving up from the Opelika/Auburn area, this is the first cultural outpost youll find, friendly staff, and, again, interesting, often surprising, finds in media.

Meh BaM is a good bookstore but this management is yuck. I went on on black Friday to get the sale on young adult books for my daughter for Christmas. The manager greeted me and walkedme to the books and pointed to the ones on sale. I literally named the books I was looking for and she told me they were buy 1 get one 50% off (which isnt a great sale to begin with) . At check out they didnt ring up that way and the cashier called her over. She lied right to my face and said she took me over to the area that was on sale and these books didnt fall under that sale. I was so mad I made her refund me there on the spot and then went and bought them on Amazon just so BaM wouldnt have a sale. If I inconvenience myself to spite you you did wrong. Shouldve just lost the measly $10 and kept me as a customer. Wont be back sticking with Amazon.

BAM is still hanging in there, competing with online sales and e-readers. I typically purchase magazines, rarely even glance at the end caps with new releases and always lament at the choices available.But, it is one of two book stores on the 280 corridor and the staff is friendly, even if they are forced to shill magazine subscri0tions at checkout.

Staff is unfriendly, the latte was terrible, and a woman who I think was a manager rolled her eyes when I asked if they had Wise Mans Fear in a regular print format. Ill drive to 2nd and Charles for my books from now on.

The management is beyond rude except for a few workers,I have had no good experience in there. I can say this the only reason I will be going back is for the books and nothing more.
