I have been dealing with Logan on a maintenance issue with my hot tub that I purchased from someone who had bought it from Family Leisure. He has treated me like I purchased it directly from them myself. He has been very professional and helpful. Highly recommend

Very knowledgeable and highly recommend! I bought my pool from Family Leisure a few years ago (perma- salt). I am horrible at understanding water testing. It is so nice to be able to bring in water and the knowledgable staff always help. With all the rain this summer, I was having issues with algae (I did not have chamber on right setting). Their suggestions cleared it right up. Everyone is always very friendly. Highly recommend!

Super nice staff but very limited inventory. So much of their merchandise is stalled at port or transfer company short on driver’s so not their fault. It’s a good idea to call and ask if deliveries have arrived.

The staff was customer focused throughout the entire experience. They were helpful, offered suggestions, and worked with my schedule to deliver. There was never any pressure to buy, they just provided helpful information. Logan has a huge help. He talked me through the logistics of delivery, and without him the process would not have gone as smooth. Delivery was also great. I will be back in the spring for new patio furniture.

I am so frustrated with this company. I have been talking to one of the salesman there, Logan. He is now not returning my calls. I purchased a pool last Summer and it was installed incorrectly, which they acknowledged that there was a issue with the install. I spoke to them last June and again in March of this year. They said they would be out in April to fix the pool which will need a new liner. I haven’t heard from anyone and have called several times in which no one has returned my call. I spent around $7000.00 with this company.

We went into the Birmingham Family Leisure this morning. The young salesman was very attentive, personable, kind and genuinely wanted to sell us a spa. My husband walked outside to retrieve his billfold to buy the spa while our salesman went over to speak to the owner/manager about delivery. We are currently under construction, building a new home on a nearby lake. The owner never came to say hello, to ask about the property or the build, NOTHING. But the salesman returned to tell us he was sorry but they wouldn’t be able to bring the spa “through our home”. We left and spoke to our builder, actually went and calculated the space, etc. We then returned to the store, spoke again to the same salesman, told him we wanted to give them another chance. He spoke to the owner who never looked up from whatever he was doing and we could hear him telling him he didn’t think it was a good idea. I walked over and told him, “I don’t think you want to sell us a spa.” He simply said, I don’t want to damage your new home. I can respect that, but he never introduced himself, he never asked about our space, he never looked at the pictures I had shared with the salesman. He did NOTHING to accommodate the sale. I will NEVER return. They have great products in the store and they would have potentially sold us many things, but the owner sure needs to find a personality. We like to buy from people who WANT our business, not someone who is closed-minded and too bothered to meet and greet his customers! We will not be returning.

I dont often leave detailed reviews but this store is outstanding! Great inventory, great service and excellent management. The folks who run this store clearly care about their customers. If you need a pool table, spa or any related products, this is the place to go. In short, I was bowled over by the service at this store. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic customer experience! I never realized I wanted to purchase a pool table, but let me tell you— I’m waiting on installation of my new baby and I cannot wait! All inclusive price of installation, balls and cue sticks is really a selling point. 10/10 would recommend. Brad Martin is your man to talk to!

Very disappointing. Commercials show a large selection of items in the store. We drove over 30 miles and left in 15 minutes. Best part of the visit was sitting in the $6,000 massage chairs before we left, that is why they sit was longer than 5 minutes. Heard LOTS of customers complaining of poor service and extremely long waits, several months, for delivery of items they had purchased, not told until AFTER they bought and plenty of back talking when they tried to return what they could not get.

Josh was very helpful in helping us decide which vaccum to get for our pool and had a perma salt kit all ready in a buggy ready to go Thanks so much Josh

I have used Family Leisure in the past in other states, but this office does not believe in customer service. There is a statewide mask mandate and not a single person working for Family Leisure had one on. All the customers did. Wearing a mask is about protecting others. If they can’t be bother to care about the health of its customers, what kind of customer service do you think you will get post sale. I wish I could give 0 stars

Awesome service and sales. Shopped around other pool companys and no one came close to their low prices. If you need a pool I would definitely recommend Family Leisure. I also bought a swing set from them and I love it. Had it for over six years and it is as much fun now as it was when we first bought it.

Our family purchased a hot tub from Family Leisure in Birmingham. The whole process of purchase, delivery and installation was professionally handled and delivered on time. In addition, any questions on maintenance and usage have been quickly handled over the phone.

I bought an above ground pool from Family Leisure back in May and installed in July. We absolutely love this pool!Their service is awesome! I had found a leak late yesterday afternoon in the discharge line coming from pump to pool and called Family Leisure as soon as they opened The next day (which was a Saturday)and Logan sent their guy out and he fixed it and had my pool back up and running! That was nice to come home to after a long day at work!Thanks Family Leisure!

About a $650 foosball table for 400 had to put it together myself never again but I like the foosball table

Kudos to Logan and Josh. I talked to Logan earlier this week, shared with him that circuit breaker on spa kept tripping, and he immediately moved into action. He set an appointment for this morning... 4th of July!Josh showed up right on time and began diagnosing the problem. Within 5-10 minutes the problem was identified and fixed! Very impressive.I have found everyone at this Birmingham location very responsive and customer oriented. Highly recommend.

We have left 4 messages regarding our pump was told Thursday someone would call me in 2 hours. No one called. Called Friday and was told they are busier than they have been in 5 years transferred and left my 5th message someone would call me Saturday. Still no call.

Purchased Tropic Seas Rio 500 Elite Hot Tub.Definitely ask for Logan when shopping!Logan was friendly and quite knowledgeable about the hot tubs in stock, he really was delightful to work with.Spa was special order, soooo we will not know how installation process goes for several weeks.But, we are anticipating a smooth delivery 🚚 based on the ease of our purchase.

Our family got a pool installed end of July 2019. They did a great job! They answered all our questions and everything looked very nice when they left. Since then Ive called SO many times asking questions and they never seem aggravated with me. They are SO helpful!! Giving great tips over the phone and sending someone out quickly if we need any type of service work done. As of today, my family is totally satisfied with Family Leisure in Birmingham, AL! The only problem we had was a misunderstanding when we purchased our pool. We thought we had purchased perma salt, but turned out we only paid for a chlorine set-up. Still gave a 4 star rating because all of you in this store have been awesome!!

Jeff at Family Leisure was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I was in search of a play set for my kids for our backyard and I needed it quickly. Jeff went above and beyond, quickly making honest recommendations. He was able to arrange delivery before Christmas and get us the swing set we wanted! We had purchased a 30X54 above ground pool from the Family Leisure in Minnesota right before they closed it down. We are first time pool owners and clueless on how to set up the pump and filter. While Family Leisure has NUMEROUS/helpful videos out there, there is not one out there on how to set these units up with what I needed. I kept getting refered to the Indianapolis store but I was not getting the help I needed. I spoke with Logan at the Burmingham store and he was a GOD Send. He facetimed me on my cell and told me where to put the gaskets and what connects with what. I can not say how much I appreciated his help and how he went above and beyond!! Thank you so very much Logan! We have 5 daughters and they cant wait to get in the pool!! Neither can I. ;) I now have a go to guy!

The salesman was very disrespectful. Kept selling to my Male friend even after being told several times that I (a female) was the one buying the hot tub. After being told that I had to check on something and that Id be back. He tried to get me to go ahead and start the financing. I told him I didnt need it. He then tries to get me to put a deposit down because they might sell out. Even though the store was completely empty besides us. After looking online I read about their awful customer service, even on their fb page. They do not care about their customers at all. I will by another hot tub but not from them. They lost over $8000 on my purchase. But they dont care.

Based on past experiences, I would not recommend this company, but its now under new ownership. I hope this company improves now that it is no longer being ran by the incorrect people.Now, the contractors they use, is a whole different story. Professional with their work, but not with the way they run their business and treat their employees.

We recently purchased a game table from Jeff at Family Leisure. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. Jeff was very professional and did exactly everything he said he would. We received our table even before promised, the price was better than we had received from the internet, and the delivery guys were also exceptionally professional. I was very impressed with our experience and will definitely be recommending them to our friends.

They do not stand behind their products. They will lie to you and tell you that they will stand behind their products but never do. They just give you the run around. I bought a pool last year the liner got a big hole in it they came out finally after trying to get them to do something for a month. They said that their was nothing they could do.

From the sales staff to the insulation crew lead by Brad and service man Todd, all were outstanding and professional, Will be doing business again, I would give these folks a awesome recommendation

May 2016 I spent nearly $8k on a Tropic Seas hot tub. Last year I kept noticing brown specks in the water but couldnt figure out exactly where it was coming from. I finally figured out it was coming from the head rests! It is horrible! We cannot even get into the hot tub without having to take a shower afterwards to wash the brown specks off ourselves. I finally found all my paperwork and called today only to be told by the manager that they could order replacements at $40 a piece! I will never purchase or recommend anybody else to purchase from this group. He kept telling me how the head rests werent covered under warranty. My last hot tub was between 15-20 years old and the head rests still looked new when I hauled it off. I sure wouldve thought for the price I paid that this hot tub would have been better quality! Substandard business selling substandard products!

It was a wonderful experience. Purchased on Memorial Day and pool was installed on the 8th of June. The team (Andys) that installed the pool was very professional. Worked non-stop. They were finished in 4 hours and 45 minutes. Great job.

This has been an awful experience. Do not depend on there schedule. The company has absolutely no organization. They promised to be at our home for installation 4 times and no showed each time without even a call. Our pool leaks and is still not complete. Very disappointed. Would not do business with them again.

My husband and I bought an above ground pool approximately 3 years ago. The first install was littered with used parts, trash let on my property as well as poor installation. I called them back 3 months after the install because the liner of the pool had what can only be described as large indentions or holes at the site where the buttresses are located. They came back out several months later only to say they were completely out of the liner for my pool and it would be the following year before they had anymore. I waited 5 months and they brought another liner but it did the same thing. The installer told me it was a bad liner. The same thing happened again but now they are telling me that the indention as well as the large crease that is in the bottom of the liner is normal and they are no longer coming out to even inspect the pool to make sure its ok. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The service, product and treatment of customers is awful. I wish I had a dollar for every time the installers either left something unplugged, walked away while the pool had a leak only to be called back to repair it or left discarded materials on my property. I would be a wealthy person if I had that dollar for every mistake they made. Stay way from them.

Horrible customer service! After months of calling they finally had to come out and completely reinstall my pool. The pump on it is a joke and has never worked right and the manager over the pool installations is so freaking rude!!!!

Absolutely horrible, make sure you visit the cashier with the heartbeat tattoo on her forearm and listen to how she smacks her gum and walks away while you are standing at the counter for 20 minutes. I bought an above ground pool 10 months ago from Family Leisure. The package included installation. As of today, it still has NOT been installed. After I started calling, it appeared that they wanted to help, but now no one is available, not even a manager .Save yourself a lot of trouble and do not buy an above ground pool from this company. They are a lot of talk and NO DO! I would give minus 10 stars if I could!!!!!

If you buy their pool with the Perma salt system you cannot buy chemicals anywhere else except this store or no other pool store carries this chemical the steps I bought are falling apart and because I purchased a set of steps I did not get a ladder the pump that came with my pool died after the first year they did give me a discount the following year for a second pump
