Visiting from Maryland my Vans check engine light came on. Had it scanned and found one of the coils was bad. They replaced it for me quickly on a Saturday morning and I still made it to Barbed vintage festival. The guys where very professional and friendly to everyone that came in. I am only here once a year and they new that and still treated me like I was their neighbor. Highly recommend. Thanks again gentlemen.

Was out of town today my wife was trying to get our Armada serviced before a camping trip. She went to Vulcan tire, which we have only used once before to patch a hole in a tire. She said the staff was very friendly performed the oil and tire rotation with no problem. Then they informed her that the back brakes on her Armada were wearing so thin that they were digging into the rotor, and cautioned her, that if she was going to be pulling a camper, that there was no way he would let his wife pull a camper with those brakes. Fortunately she called me before she authorized the repair as it was $400 for back brakes and rotors. I stopped by Advanced Auto Parts on my way home picked up new rotors and brake pads. When I got home I jacked the back of her Armada up pull the tires off to perform a brake service on the back. Lo and behold the pads still had half of their life left, and the rotors were in very good shape. I went ahead and changed the pads because I already had them off and it was only $45 from advance. And put them on the truck 45min later the job is done for $45. That being said the parts would have been $230 for pads and rotors, if the rotors needed replacing their estimate is reasonable, In this case they did not need replacing. I do not appreciate an automotive shop up selling people on service they dont need. If i can figure out how to attach pictures of the pads to this review, I will.

They do quality work for a reasonable price. When you come in they greet you with a smile. When its time to go you vehicle is out front and ready to go..

I dont generally write long reviews, but this place is worth it.I generally work on all my own cars , but when it comes to tires and recently oil changes you cant beat these guys on price.They are super friendly , helpful, and went out of the way to make sure my tires were in stock.I have recommended them to everyone and will continue to use them myself. I got tires and a synthetic oil change for 20$ less than other places wanted tires alone.Deffinnately a positive experience and will continue to use them.

I had a blowout on a road trip from Florida to Minnesota on a Friday evening. After checking reviews from my hotel I showed up at 7:45 am at Vulcan hoping to get help without an appointment. Jeff didnt have my size tires in stock but after hearing my problem offered to go to the warehouse and get them for my vehicle. After he left to the warehouse his crew took the car in and stripped off the old tires to keep from wasting any time. I was out of there by 9:15am with 4 new tires at a reasonable price to get back on my trip to Minnesota.Great service at a reasonable price.Thanks to Jeff and his crew for going out of their way to provide great customer service!Chris

These guys are second to none. Superior. I came in to have a couple used tires put on my daddys pickup that Ive been driving for the last two years while I save to fix my little car. All of the tires on my truck were bald and to be honest, it was unsafe for new to be driving around in (but, when youre a broke single mama, ya kinda gotta deal with what ya got.) Jeff came out and showed genuine concern for my safety. Concern Id never see in any other shop. I told him I would take care of the front tires when I could, and to just go ahead and replace the back tires as planned. A good Samaritan paid for two new tires for the front of my pickup. Jeff waited to tell me, and it took everything in me to not jump the counter and hug him. Not only did this man show how much he cares for others, but he made a surprise mean so much more than he could have ever imagined. The men who work at this shop are amazing, with hearts of gold, and I for one will be visiting them will all of my vehicle needs, as well as recommending them to everyone I know. Traveling from out of state I went to Vulcan tire to have a low tire checked out. I was impressed with the clean waiting room where free coffee, bottles of water, popcorn, mints and a work space for privacy was available for the customer. The employee was super nice and polite and after checking my tire for a puncture did not charge me for the service. I really appreciated their honesty. They could have told me I needed a new tire and taken advantage of the fact that I was from out of state. I would recommend this business to anyone needing tires or car their car serviced.

Great place & great prices! The facility is very accommodating with cubicles for you to work in, rather privately. They keep everything very clean & neat. The guys are very professional & helpful. Stopped in for a flat tire on my trailer due to a nail. They patched the one nail I found and when we put it back on we found a small slash that couldnt be seen until the tire had pressure in it. They took the tire back off and patched the other hole for no extra charge. Great service and great prices.

These guys are top notch. I am one of those pretentious know it alls who takes weeks to make a decision on my street/strip cars. Alignment and tires are the only things I do not do myself. I was quite pleased with my results.I compared cost of service with other local shops and found Vulcan to be competitive with other trusted service shops. There were cheaper places but trust me when I say the $15-25 difference was well worth it. They still were more reasonable than some. You get what you pay for and at Vulcan it seems you get a little extra. They even offered to patch a tire(that I did not buy from them) for Free.I am coming back soon for a set of new tires which is another thing Vulcan has locked down. I was quoted a better price for a set of four new tires than I could find used. And they are new not half worn!!!All in all I find myself willing to drive across town just to be a Vulcan Tire and Automotive patron.

After forever taking my car and being overpriced at chain shops I looked and looked for a repair shop that would be reasonable and had great reviews. Found this one while I was searching decided to take it there the next morning. They fit me right in and took about and hour for my brake and rotors. I recently bought tires at Vulcan Tire in Trussville and I realized later that day I had purchased the wrong tires for my truck. I contacted them and asked if they could help me and they could not have been more professional or helpful. The mistake was all on me but they have gone out of their way to help. I have rarely found customer service like this. I will buy everything I can from them moving forward.

Was visiting Trussville for a graduation when my speedometer malfunctioned. Took the car over to Vulcan and was provided excellent and fast service that identified the issue and let me get back on the road. Customer service is excellent and the facility is clean. Went for front end alignment and discovered a busted tie rod boot that would have to be replaced before the alignment could be done. Trying to get out quickly I told them to install a new tie rod ($30 part) and get it aligned ($80) to get me out the door and on my way. They printed me a bill before starting the work for $476. Immediately had my truck pulled off the rack and went home, ordered the part I needed, and installed it as soon as it came in within a matter of 30 minutes tops.

The best service by Far! The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and best of all just a great group of guys.Got there at 08 Found my tires went and got them 30 min away and had my AMG track ready by 10:30! These guys are like my own pit crew! Loved the experience.

Round tires. Square deals. I brought my Subaru in for 4 tires and told the owner, Richard, I also needed at least front brake pads, since it was shimmying a touch. Told me I didnt need brakes that the shimmy was because of my bald tires. Have a nice office setup and was able to get a lot of work done while they were servicing my car.....which was quick and painless. They have my biz.

Vulcan gave me the best estimate and it included lifetime rotate, balance and tire repair...cant beat that. With that said...what really made me come back is the customer service and attitude. I was very impressed with my experience at Vulcan Tire today.On first impressions: their lobby is VERY clean and comfortable. They even have computer workstations set up if you need to get online or send a few e-mails while you wait.I was also thoroughly impressed that the price they quoted to me was EXACTLY what I paid when I picked up my car. This is major for me; theres nothing that leaves a worse taste in my mouth than being quoted one price and then having a vastly different price after the work is done. Not only that, their tire/service prices were a good bit lower than other places I shopped. These guys do great work for an honest price, plus, they dont try to up-sell you a 100 different products/services you didnt actually need or request. They have certainly earned my business for the foreseeable future!

I had heard some of Vulcan Tire & Automotives advertising on the local radio station and since I needed some tires, I thought Id give them a try. This place is EXCELLENT, and JEFF is the best in the business! I’ve been to Vulcan 4 different times now for different needs... it doesn’t matter if you’re just looking for new tires and alignment, having a lift or leveling kit installed on your truck, or anything in between, go to Vulcan in Trussville and ask for Jeff. I fell for a Discount Tire store’s bargain price, and they put the wrong size tire on my truck. Then, made it worse by trying to force fit the tires to work on the truck, and actually screwed up many parts on the vehicle. I took it to Vulcan, and Jeff and his mechanics took phenomenal care of me. They fixed everything that had been damaged, restored the truck to perfect again, and did it at a fair price and quick turnaround. You can trust these guys. They are professionals and experts at what they do!

I had high expectations for this place as every review I have read has been very good; however, my experience was that everything was just a little off.I was quoted for tires, brake pads, windshield wipers, and an oil change from an employee over the phone. After calling around I decided Vulcan offered me the best deal all together.However, when I arrived the following day, I left my car and walked to Starbucks only to receive a call 45 mins later telling me the wrong tires had been ordered for my car. They did tell me that I did not need brakes which was appreciated that they didnt just service them to make money. Also, they were very kind and told me they would look at my backup camera when they serviced my car since it was acting up and Ford would;d not service it.I wasnt thrilled obviously that I had wasted my time, but I know mistakes happen, so I tried to take the mix up in stride. I was told I could come at any point Saturday morning (the next day) and I would receive the red carpet treatment and immediately be fit in.So, thats what I did. I arrived the next morning around 10 a.m. and figured I would get worked in quickly. Instead, I was greeted kindly by a gentleman who seemed confused by me being there and obviously had not been told I was coming. Additionally, he told me my tires were not at the shop but should arrive soon. I thought it would have been nice of them to tell me that my tires may not be there if I arrive early instead of saying I could come at any time.I once again went to a store to wait, and it was a couple hours before I got the call that I was ready. When I arrived, I was told the price wpuld be a number that was only around $80 cheaper than my initial quote. I asked if brake service was only $80 and was told no that it was $180 (I believe this number is right), but the employee could not figure out why my total was only $80 less even though nothing changed other than the brakes coming off. He apologized and said make sure you come back and we will take care of you which would be more believable if he had written my name or number down, but I am obviously not going to say hey I am that guy you said you would take care of 8 months ago.To add another small deal on top of everything he informed me they forgot to look at my backup camera when I asked as I paid..Overall, I actually get the feeling this is a good place. There are just too many good reviews for it not to be. The staff was also extremely kind to me and seemed to want to help. However, things went wrong at every step of the process, and I felt like everything to do with me lacked detail and consistency. Hopefully, it was just an off day in my case.

Got an alignment on two vehicles, done in about 40 minutes each. I requested to see the alignment numbers on both before and after. More than willing to show me. I also asked about custom alignments for my tracks cars, and they had no problem with that, which is rare! Overall a great, professional place that is willing to deal with my special requests.

Front desk staff was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Price was great and they were able to take me to my office down the road so I didnt have to sit in the waiting area. Richard called to give me some areas that needed to be addressed in the future. Will definitely be going back.

I have had my car in the shop a couple times with the old and new owners. Great service with both, but the new owners seem to be willing to go the extra mile to make sure your car is taken care of. They have drinks, snacks, TV, lounge area and best of all a work station where multiple users can sit and do some catch up internet work.I highly recommend them to all I meet.

Needed 2 tires. Stopped in and the staff was very friendly and listened to my needs. Ended up getting 2 tires mounted for 1/2 of local dealer 2 blocks away. Quickly installed and since have gotten price on brake job. Again their price $70 less than car dealer.

Driving into Birmingham for doctor visits my truck started shaking while at speed on the interstate. Pulled in to the shop, explained what I felt and how limited my time was. I stopped on my way out of town because my tires were shaking. When I first came inside I was blown away at how clean it was on the inside. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly will definitely return.

Misdiagnosed my wifes car several times. Replace all rotors and calipers and brakes still had issues. Service guy was like we will throw in brake fluid change. Days later calipers smoking. Return they say mastercylinder bad. Had another mechanic look at it they did not bleed the old brake fluid out.
