Installation of hitch was good, no issues. Problem was break down in communication between H&H and hitch supplier. Ended up waiting over a month for hitch that was in stock because hitch supplier didnt get the purchase order.

On Monday, April 19, our party of three senior ladies, had problems with a utility trailer while traveling on I-59. A gentleman stopped to assist us and got our party to the point that we could travel to a location for further repairs. We arrived at H & H Truck and Outdoor and explained our situation, we were greeted by several gentlemen that were glad to assist us and to repair our problem. They had us back on the road in less than a hour with a secure feeling that we would be fine. We made it to our destination with no further incidents. Thank you all for being there for us.

H&H in Trussville is a great place for truck accessories. The reason I’m giving them 5 stars is because I had them install step rails and rain guards on my truck and due to me not fully understanding the different types of rain guards the wrong one were put on. When I called and spoke with Jonathan he told me to bring it back and they would put the correct guards on. The correct guards were $140 and the guards I had paid for were $89 and they didn’t charge me the difference even though they had every right to do so. Those guys are great and will keep my business.

I bought a bed cover as a Christmas gift for my husband at another location and had it delivered to the Trussville location as it was closer to our home. When it arrived they called to let me know it was in and when I arrived to pick it up it was very clear it was not going to fit in my car. They asked where I lived and it turned out one of the their employees (Chris) did not live too far from us. He immediately volunteered to deliver to our house and even carried it up to the front porch! The customer service was beyond excellent and my husband loves his new bed cover. HIGHLY recommend!

I had ordered a tonneau cover for my truck off of Amazon based on reviews. I’ve installed these in the past but this cover seems to have very cheaply or universal type clamp hold downs. I would not trust them going down the highway. I was out today and called and told Chris my situation and he said stop by and I will help you out. He also told me that he was going to be out in the next few minutes and just ask anyone, they will be by my desk.Half and hour later I walk in, Chris isn’t there but Brandon Marley asked me what I needed help with. He gets me exactly what I needed and continued to ask me what else I needed assistance with. I replied with “nothing at the moment but after today’s visit, I will be returning and buying my accessories here.”I have brand new 2019 Ford Ranger and the skies the limit as far as accessories go!Thanks guys and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know.Edit to add: After the first experience I had there, I had to back there for the first mod to my brand new Ford Ranger. As many people know these trucks sit lower in the front than they do in the back. They make a leveling kit that brings the front up to be even with the rear give or take an inch or so. I stopped by last week and spoke with Hunter and he gave me a price that I was good with. I scheduled it and had it completed today. I went in this morning and waited and did some reading while they performed the work. I’m completely satisfied with the work, the amount of time it took to complete it and the price. I will have to say Hunter was very thorough and made sure I understood the work that was being done. All of the rest of the employees were very friendly and that goes a long way with me.Just goes to show there’s more than one shop in the area that can do modifications to trucks AND have a friendly attitude while doing it. I waited in the parking lot for two hours for the fine folks at H&H to put on tires; after two hours they managed to take one tire off and spend the rest of their time trying to calibrate their balancing machine; instead of notifying me so I could leave and come back I waited. I was told to come back “first thing in the morning and we’ll take care of you!” I dropped the truck off at 7:30 as told and not a sole was present; nonetheless I left the keys in the gas cap and proceed to call them at 8 and ask about the tires and alignment being done. The tires and alignment managed to take 5 hours before it was ready for pick up. I ran the new tires for 3 days all highway and the truck started pulling right and continued to get wore for a week; clearly not providing the alignment I paid for along with paying complete full price despite their incompetence. 0/10 will not be back.

Had an incredible experience with the team here. Brandon helped us order a lift and tires for my sons 4Runner. He even tried to help me save some money negotiating with my son on what looked tough on a 4Runner. The lift and tires came in three days earlier than he estimated and were installed the very next day. My son loves them and the customer service was impressive. I purchased a Cam-Locker tool box from Brandon two years ago after going to their store in Pelham where I couldn’t get anybody to help wait on me. He was very helpful and took time to tell me the differences between all their tool boxes.Fast forward to yesterday when I went back to get my tool box put on my new Pro-Carbon AT-4 and again Brandon was very helpful and had my toolbox put on my truck in what seemed like no time. When I asked him how much I owed him, he said not a penny!I will never go anywhere else when I need anything aftermarket for my truck!These guys are awesome!

I purchased a camper shell for my ‘05 Sierra here almost 15 years ago and it has probably been off of my truck 2-3 times over that period. I recently had some water leakage around the front window with it and they took it off and fixed it in just a few days. What I appreciated was the fact that they didn’t tell me that mine was just aged and try to sell me a “new” one. They addressed the issue and “fixed” it! Thanks, Chris and Mike!!

They had what I needed when others didn’t so I was happy about that. Unfortunately the guy that works the first desk made my experience less than favorable. He seemed bothered that a customer was there and was just simply rude. I would recommend giving them a shot but steer clear of the cranky guy.

I would recommend H&H to anyone! The service at this place is outstanding. Before performing the services I was having done to my Chevy 2500 duramax, they noticed I had problems with my rotors and wanted me to be aware before going further. That really shows how they actually care about the customer and heir safety instead of making a quick dollar. Plus, they have great products and do a heck of a job on adding accessories.

After saving up for a long time, I took my truck to H&H (Trussville) for an extensive list of modifications. To test their customer service, I walked in on a Saturday morning with no appointment or previous contact. I made it one step inside the front door when someone stopped what they were doing at their desk and said Hello. How can I help you? Jonathan and Matt then sat with me for over an hour, discussing each thing I wanted done to my truck. After gaining an understanding of how I use my vehicle, they actually talked me out of purchasing pricier items that I simply did not need. They offered suggestions on related items that lined up better with my uses. We agreed on a final list, and I apprehensively left a half-down-up-front deposit. From that point forward, there was never any reason for me to have concern regarding my decision to go with H&H. Jonathan remained in constant contact throughout the duration of the project (it took a couple weeks due to my schedule and all the things being done). The final result exceeds my expectations and the customer service I received was unlike any other Ive gotten in a long while. I cannot recommend Jonathan and Matt highly enough!

Ordered a Ranch Hand bumper replacement for my truck. I was told it would take an hour an a half to have it installed so I waited on it. 5 hours later they had it put on however it was not Aligned evenly at all. Don’t waste your time with this store like I did. Go to Pelham or Gadsden.

I was so intimidated with going into a store like this because I had NO idea what to get my husband for his birthday. I went by the Trussville location to price replacement headlights for my 98 Tacoma. As soon as I drove into the parking lot someone offered to help me and directed me to someone that could provide the options and pricing. I placed the order and then asked for advise as to how to remove an old broken aftermarket attachment on my truck. The Service Manager (Chance) was very helpful and even removed the attachments for me! Everyone I dealt with was so nice, cheerful and helpful, VERY customer focused. It was a great experience! It is apparent that the leadership at this location has created a very positive work environment and it is reflected in the attitude of the associates!

2016 purchased a retractable bed cover from Trussville along with a couple other items. Wonderful service, fast install. When I purchased my new Ram I went right back Nov 2018. Information and ordering was absolutely no problem. Confirmed first by phone and then arrived early to have my install and they did not have all the parts. Wanted me to dive 45 minutes again the next day. We got over that hump by them going to their warehouse and getting the right parts. Left truck for install. Came back hours later and the bed cover is installed perfectly but they forgot the bug shield. They immediately went to quickly put it on but oops they had the wrong one. How does ALL day go by and you dont discover it is the wrong one especially when you are going to the warehouse to correct your other issue??? Not happy. Come home and they left my Brand New Truck with dirty shoe prints all over the back from the cover install. No response form my email to corporate. NEVER AGAIN! Too many places to go and then there is Amazon to get stuff from.

Bought a new Cam locker box for my truck a few months ago and all of a sudden it wouldn’t open . I Went back and told Brandon what was going on and him and his team quickly drilled out my cam lock and got the box opened . After I moved my cordless drill away from the opening mechanism it worked great . They fixed everything and had me back to work in no time . THANKS GUYS !!!! Terrible customer service I literally speak with one sales associate asking for help and get the run around. Its just kids running things.

Trailer and taillight problem was too much for them to handle. Staff not as qualified as in the past.

So a couple weeks back I was using my truck bed to haul some stuff and well I cracked one of the snaps of the lid cover to my truck. I haven’t had any extra time to try and get it replaced so I took it off and was going to search for it online. I’m over in the Trussville area a pretty good bit of the time and I was driving down the road in Trussville that goes by YMCA and the new road to the Pinnacle and there is a H&H truck accessories place there. So I stopped in and talked to a young man Named Mike Culp. This dude knew his truck covers number one, secondly he was nice and friendly (I’m covered in Ink and I have the gauged earrings too) so most people judge me before they ever start a conversation with me, But not Mike. Mike introduces himself as soon as I walked in the door and immediately stopped what he was doing and came to assist. He was knowledgeable about the product that I have on my truck, and he had everything I needed for a ridiculously amazing price, and he clearly knows his truck accessories. I have a 2020 Colorado and it’s amazing but not a lot of replacement parts just yet. But Mike had it in his mind , he came out to confirm it was exactly what he was thinking about walked back in the building and BOOOM. There’s the part I needed just like a dang BOSS. Mike today has been one of the most frustrating and overwhelming days I have ever had and I want you and everyone at H&H and all over to know that by your simple actions and treating me the way you’re supposed too it made an incredible difference and it changed the entire trajectory of my day Sir. I cannot begin to thank you enough for not only finding the right parts for my truck bed cover but also just being a genuinely awesome individual. I have an old cargo trailer that I bought in the 90s and the wiring it had didnt jive with my new truck. Its sat for over 8 years unused and I just got called out on a long job and decided to stay in it vs a hotel. Well, when I plugged in the lights, I blew a fuse, replaced that, and still didnt have running lights, had turn and brake but no running lights. Chance at H&H hooked me up, did what was needed, and charged a VERY reasonable price for it as well. Did so well I even gave him $10 extra I was so grateful.They will treat you right here.

I truly had an amazing experience here. I highly recommend this place to anyone! They are fair, friendly, honest and truly care about the quality of work they provide. If you want something done right, you need to have it done here. I was in an accident a few months ago, and basically had to have my truck put back together again. After i got my truck back i was having alot of problems with it, and took it to different places to have it looked at, but nobody could seem to fix my issues. So I found H&H and took it there to have it looked at, and they were able to find and solve all the problems I was experiencing. I would give them 10 out of 10 stars if I could.
