I had a great experience and was referred to go to Sherrill Paint & Body! I was nervous about taking my car in to any body shop and possibly getting taken advantage of, but every time I called into Sherrill, the people I spoke to were kind, as well as when I did end up bringing in my car for a FREE estimate for any possible damage. I didnt end up having any damage after all, and the gentleman also installed my new windshield wipers for me when I said I was too nervous to do myself! I will definitely use this body shop if I ever am in need of one.

It took 14 days to fix a tailgate. Took 2 days to even order the parts. Working with insurance was a nightmare even though he “knew the insurance adjuster well.” It was a constant hassle trying to figure out when it would actually be done. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because they are very nice and the work was good. But I would by no means ever take a vehicle back.

Had a wreck. Sherrill has by far been my best auto shop experience. They don’t cheap out on their work and even paid an extra day on my rental car since I couldn’t pick up on the scheduled date!Work wise, their body guy managed to somehow put the aero back into my Frs quarter panel. I doubted at first but it turned out great! Highly recommend.

My son is a student at the University of Alabama. He was involved in accident in Birmingham on his way to the airport. There was significant damage to his vehicle, but thankfully no injuries.His truck, “Nellie”, is his life. He was devastated by the accident, so I wanted to get it fixed right. Wrecks are never pleasant, but these guys are definitely a bright spot in that experience. The work performed on my car was far better than it needed to be. I can not say enough about the positive experience I had from start to finish at Sherrill Paint & Body. First I met Kasey for my quote and I knew at that moment this was not your ordinary body shop experience. Kasey was extremely professional, thorough, and as courteous as could be. I was paying for the repairs to my BMW myself without insurance and I had a lot of questions because of the difficulty associated with a 3-stage paint like the kind on my car. He answered every question honestly and to my satisfaction. When I dropped off my car, I met Randy and the positive experience continued. When my car was done (a day early), I received a call from Andrew and again the professionalism was way above expectations. And yet, all this pales in comparison to the quality of work that Danny performed on my car. The damage was gone and the paint was a perfect match. And by perfect, I mean the front bumper matched the car better than the rear bumper painted at the factory. And the final kicker, when I went in to pay, it was slightly less than the quote. If you love your car and you want it fixed right, and to be treated right, Sherrill Paint & Body is the place.

I do not normally leave reviews but Sherrill Paint and Body were fantastic. They communicated with me at least twice a week for updates and were very responsive to all of my e-mails. Even during the COVID-19 shut down they were able to complete the repairs in 5 business days. The process took an incredibly long time but that was the fault of the other drivers insurance company dragging their feet to approve the repairs.They even popped out an old dent on a body panel that wasnt involved in the accident. It was raining when I picked up my car so they gave me a voucher to come back to have it detailed. Even then the car was already very clean.I chose this place based on Google reviews and friends. Very glad I chose Sherrill Paint and Body.

We live out of state and wanted to be sure the process was doable and priced right. Sherill did an excellent job repairing a lift gate and windshield on my 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Both items look good as brand new and were completed ahead of the agreed to completion date. I am extremely satisfied with Sherrill.

I first brought my 2007 Toyota Prius in here about 2 years ago with a front bumper issue. They gave me multiple options to fix the damage and were very realistic on cost. I went to about four other body shops around town for price comparisons. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, they were the only shop that felt confident they could repair (instead of replace the bumper), described how they would do it and the pros and cons of the repair. Most shops never even offered me that choice! They ended up repairing it, per my request, and did an amazing job! I spontaneously brought it in for a second major repair to the under carriage. They did fantastic work on that and remembered everything they did the first time. The employees are very polite and extremely realistic with the cost and time the car will be in the shop. My vehicle has always been ready sooner than they project though! They have gone out of their way on countless occasions to go up and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend them!! Personally, I wont be using any other body shop in Birmingham.

Could not have been a better or easier experience. From the estimate to picking up my T&C minivan the communication was timely, friendly and professional. I have had 2 very positive experiences with Sherrill Paint & Body Shop. The first time, someone plowed into my passenger side and did considerable damage. They did excellent work and in less than a week. The second time, I backed into a low garden post and crumpled the back end. Again, even ordering replacement panels, they did the work very promptly. This work too was of the highest quality. They even patched up the paint in another, totally unrelated part of the car, which wasnt part of the work order! Both times, they returned my car thoroughly vacuumed and washed. Dont know whether this is standard with all body shops, but I appreciated it. Very pleasant and helpful people.

I brought in my truck for repairs to the entire driver side beginning at the front quarter panel and continuing to the bed. They were very prompt to assess the damage and had a repair estimate in my hands within 24 hours, and were communicative during the entire process. Took my 10-year-old car in after it got side-swiped - there was a small dent above the front drivers side wheel + some scrapes. A really nice employee (Im sorry I didnt get your name!) wiped the paint from the scrapes off with paint thinner and explained that while he could technically charge me $400 to fix the dent, he wasnt comfortable doing it because it wouldnt make a difference when I go to sell the car. He didnt charge me for wiping the paint in the scrapes off, either. The car looks a million times better even without the dent fixed and I dont feel like I was taken advantage of. Next time I need body work, Ill definitely take it to Sherrill. Thank you!!

I was told by the gentleman originally giving the estimate on my Toyota Tacoma truck that replacing the left rear light accembly would require rewiring thus the high labor cost. Also it requires a sealer which is required.Tad called me and explained that estimate I received before was incorrect and the new estimate is correct. He was very nice and the new estimate is excellent. Thank you.
