I had located a new Silverado that was very close to what I wanted, the initial contact was sincere, the salesman indicated that he wanted to earn my business. I thought about the purchase, and after a few days had passed I returned and negotiated a trade-in and a final sale price. I live outside of Alabama therefore I made many calls, texts and even face-timed her just to get a good look at the vehicle and ask more questions as I am an indecisive buyer.. I visited the dealership’s service department to have the check engine light checked. They told me that they wouldn’t get a chance to look at it that day because it was 3pm and the shop closed at 6. So I dropped it off. They initially gave me a price of $580 to fix the issue. After that, they kept the vehicle for 5 days and I had to call looking for an update. They finally got back to me and said the issue was wiring and a bad connector. The parts were only about $70 total but they charged $725 in labor. I ended up paying $819.72. I feel as if it was kind of a rip off because the other issues I had addressed weren’t even taken care of. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the service department to anyone else.

I ran into some scary issues with my new 2021 Tahoe while on the road. I called the service department in a bit of panic. Tonya answered the phone and quickly put my worries at ease. She walked me through what happening and assured me she would do everything possible to get my car into the shop safely, as well as get a loaner for me. Even with the low car inventory, she was able to provide a loaner car and communicated the details of what I could expect regarding timeline. The checkout process was also lovely. Tonya was once again so helpful and the ladies who checked me out were superb.

Despite the current vehicle shortage situation, this was one of the easiest new car purchases I have experienced, to date. Charged me over $530.00 to change out top brake light said thats what was causing back floor on driver side to be wet. Floor still gets wet. Talked with Manger Gary and he was so rude and disrespectful to me. I told him I was headed on vacation and would bring car back Monday May 17th. Dont want to deal with him. I need someone from the Corporate office to contact me.Took my car back to Edward Chevrolet on May 19, 2021. I refused to leave it after Craig explain what they would have to do and what it would cost me. Left detail message with Mary Kay in Public Relations. She called and stated that Gary the manager was going to have my money refunded back to my account. The $532.11 has been put back into my account.

Edwards Chevrolet and Tyrone Silsman change my mind so, that I have come back to the Chevrolet family. I made a 7:30 a.m. appointment for a check engine light but my truck wasnt ready til 4 p.m. There were no vehicles in the service advisors bays. I had planned to pick up the truck at 1:30 during lunch & was told that the tech had just gotten it. Why make an appointment if its not gonna be acknowledged. Maybe big money repairs take priority. Not gonna say Im done with Edwards because I work downtown & its very convenient but the service must improve. Reading some of the comments, Im not the only one who had an unpleasant experience.

I dropped my truck off for a 7 AM appointment only to be called at 3:30 that afternoon and told they hadn’t even started it yet that it would be tomorrow before they could get to it. Then the next day I leave the dealership only to find out the recall that it was brought there for was never addressed. How does a vehicle leave the service department with an open recall on it?

He was so kind, gentle and professional. He treated us with up most respect. Most salesman’s could care less about their customers and just focus on the sale. Not Tyrone. Well Monday they called her to pick it up and said the supervisor drove it and it was A okTonight she had dropped the kids off to me and was going to bible study, Im a minister and was teaching via the internet but she was on the freeway and the muffler fell off Sending her in a panic. Very disappointed with our recent experience at Edwards. We had called and made an appointment for that afternoon we drove two hours to test drive a Suburban. Upon arrival there was another couple who pulled into the parking lot the same time as us who also wanted to see the same vehicle. For some reason they allowed them to view and test drive the vehicle instead of upholding our appointment even with us being on time... Unfortunately they dragged out the process for almost two hours before the couple decided to purchase the Suburban without us even having a chance. I understand ‘first come first serve’ but the fact that we arrived at the exact same time and we had an appointment to test drive that specific vehicle and they didn’t make any effort to make it right and explain that to the other party is very disappointing. Especially since the sales manager and salesman knew we drove two hours for that specific vehicle. They had no other options for the size vehicle we were looking for so it was ultimately a wasted trip. The building we were in was very old and run down and not very clean. Selection of bigger SUVs was disappointing. We will not be back.

Bad Business practices. Monday of last week (3/8/21) i noticed a 2017 Silverado posted for $23990, only one picture was provided. I emailed the dealership then requesting more info and more pictures due to me being over a hour away from the dealership. A salesman by the name of Mahagony Jordan emailed me and just sent the link, no extra information, no extra pictures, just the link to the basic information i already had. I once again asked for additional info and pictures. By Wednesday (3/10/21) i still haven’t heard anything so i emailed again, this time getting a response from Sidney Spragg, he told me the truck just got out of service and would send me pictures. 2 days later on Friday (3/12/21) , still no pictures or further contact so i email Sidney once again, this time I received the same email (word for word) saying it just got out of service and he would send me pictures. 3 days later (3/15/21), one week after i initially emailed them I finally got more pictures, the ad stated it was a V8, but in description it said V6 also, so I emailed Sidney and didn’t get a response, so i called him, he stated it was a V8 and would pass my number and email to his manager to call me to answer any questions i had (I did not ask to speak to a manager) 24 hours later, i still have not been contacted by the manager so I emailed Sidney once again, telling him I haven’t been contacted.. no response (by this time i am irritated at the worse customer service Ive ever received from a dealer). Well, i called Sidney once again and expressed my headache, he put me on hold and went to get his manager. The manager was named Jim Scott, he gave me his cell number so i could send him my trades vin number to get a trade value and said he would get it done right away, i sent this to him within 2 mins ( i looked), not hearing anything back until over a hour later when all he txted me back was “truck sold”, no apologies for taking a week to tell me absolutely nothing, no nothing. This is hands down the worse customer service Ive ever experienced and I wouldn’t suggest anyone shopping here.

I always bring my car in for regular schedule service and in the past I have received excellent service. The day after service I went to Atlanta and my car ran hot and the coolant was EMPTY! The only thing I was told about my car was that maybe the next visit I will need brakes and a battery. NO MENTION OF LEAKING FLUIDS! When I looked back at my service report it does mention the tech saw a leak. Why wouldnt they address that with me so I could have given them the go ahead to repair it like do any other time they mention a problem. I have lost ALL trust now and will not begin doing business there ever again. It was so scary getting that message while driving on a highway OUT OF TOWN! I took my car there that day cause I was going out of town and didnt want to experience any mechanical issues! NOT HAPPY!

I has to pay diagnostics fee for a problem that I am having with my 2018 Silverado. The problem is that I am having some type of noise when I am slowing down, but it doesnt do it all the time. They had the vehicle for a couple of days, after that they said they could not hear the noise. I left the dealership, got half way home start to slow down the noise was still happening. I am going to go online to see if some other owner are having this issue.

Came in to the body shop for an estimate. They refused to do the estimate because it was raining. They said they had no canopy and pictures wont take well in the rain. Guy was incredibly rude. I explained to him I had called last week and was told what hours they did estimates and no one mentioned that they wouldnt do the estimate on the rain. I had also taken off work to have this done. He said, Oh well and basically could not care less. I dont expect anyone to work in the rain but that is something I would have expected someone to tell me when I called and asked about coming in for the estimate. I also would expect a body shop to have an indoor bay to work on vehicles and possibly give estimates. I immediately looked for another body shop and found Hendricks Chevrolet. Called them and they said come on in. I was there in less than 15 minutes and they completed the estimate for me. Everyone was friendly, respectful and helpful. I was there less than 30 minutes.
