Trevor did an excellent job replacing the spring on my garage door. He also synced an extra garage door opener for me and then also helped me to sync the opener in my car on my rearview mirror. He was so polite and helpful and made sure all things were stored away on his truck before leaving. I used Overhead Door for over forty years in my family home and continue to use them now that I have downsized. I highly recommend them.

I just had a great experience with a service call to fix my overhead door. I had a roller go bad and the man door was not closing properly due to a previous accident. When Chris W. arrived on site he was friendly, happy and eager to get to work. He evaluated the issues, made some adjustments and fixed a few more problems that he identified that I had missed. The part that I really appreciated was that before he left, he took the time to lubricate every moving part on the door. That is excellent customer service. Trevor and Anthony, the technicians for Overhead Door Company of Binghamton, installed a new door in my garage today. The door is beautiful and of good quality. These guys were very meticulous with their work. I have had this garage for over 35 years and never have I had a door function as well as this one does. They made adjustments so the door comes up high enough so that we can pull a tall truck in the garage without having to hold the door up by hand like we always did. Trevor and Anthony worked very well together and are the kind of good people you want to get the job done and do it right. Very friendly atmosphere while they worked in the cold with no complaints. Did a nice job cleaning up after their work was done too. Glad we are doing business together.

Trevor and Chris were just at my residence to repair a broken spring. I received a call from the office saying they would be running a little late due to being held up at another job. When they arrived they were professional and went right to work. The job was completed in no time. They even went the extra mile to change out a wire that showed signs of deterioration and would most likely have parted in the future had it not been changed. Very happy overall.

Tim from OHD Binghamton was excellent. He arrived as promised, replaced cables, lubed the rollers, did a few other things, and less than 40 minutes later the door was working again and he was off to the next job. 10/10 service from Tim and OHD, will absolutely call them again.

WOW!! My electric garage door broke. A friend recommended that I call overhead door which I did. Worst business ethics I have seen from a company. Tech told me it’ll cost 150 to fix my garage and then when he comes here and get ready to repair it I ask him for the bill. He says the cost is upwards of 375 now. Good thing I asked him to show me the bill before he started repairing. Now he wants me to pay him 91 dollars just for coming there??? Go to Gates Garage Repair. Much better company to work with than these crooks!

Called overhead door company as I was having an issue with my garage door motor. My previous garage door installer would never return my calls. Well overhead picked up on the first ring, was knowledgeable, and scheduled me an appointment time the next day. What is better is that the service technicians actually showed up! They installed a new garage door opener, were very professional, and reasonably priced. As long as they keep up the good work they shall have my business!

Start to finish was excellent. The estimate was completed in a day (very reasonable) of my initial call, the work was completed the next day (excellent craftsmanship), and the payment process was easily done over the phone.I have now had three overhead doors installed with openers and am extremely pleased. Top quality and highly recommend.

I called Overhead Door Company today to inquire about an issue with one of the springs on my garage door and potentially set up a service appointment. The woman who took my call was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. She was condescending whenever I would ask a question.In addition to this treatment, I was informed l, that for a service call, they would charge $78 for the first hour and $60 each subsequent hour and this would include their travel time to and from my home as well as the time spent working on the issue. I am not that far from the business location, so to charge for travel time is ridiculous. I would understand if they had to travel out of the county or something.I ended up calling over to Gates Garage Door Company in Endicott and what a difference. The gentleman was so polite, knowledgeable and professional! I scheduled with them, they quoted me a straight and fair price and completed the job perfectly all in the same day! I would highly recommend them. In addition to doing the repair, they lubricated the tracks and inspected everything in both doors.

My spring on my garage door broke unexpectedly and I called Overhead Door Company of Binghamton. They had someone there in a matter of hours to asses the problem and provide a temporary fix so I could use the door. They returned a few days later and replaced the spring without issue. Their prices were fair and service was spectacular. Id recommend to anyone.

They sent out two Great Guys, Lou and Rob did a Great job. Glad to have the door back.

Trying to figure out if they are incompetent or hustlers. My parents remote wouldn’t hold a program. They had 3 techs out at $80 a pop. Not one of them thought to tell my 70 yr old parents “hey, your operator is old. It’s probably your board. By the time you pay for all of these service calls for us to spend a whole 10 mins, you could have bought a brand new operator” Utterly disgusted with them.

Overhead door company has been wonderful to work with over the last month. I had overhead door install a garage door opener and garage door. I had a gentleman come out and give me an estimate which was a believe a fair price for what i requested.The opener was installed within the week which i think was very reasonable for short notice. The gentleman showed up installed the garage door opener in about an hour worked perfect and very quite like i was promised. The garage door was custom order door that was spose to take 4-6 weeks came in 3 weeks very pleased.The garage door was installed in my house in about 2 hours start to finish with a beautiful job done. I went with what the gentleman recommended 7 R-Value and have already noticed a difference. The door was professionally installed with no issues. Finally the payment options were flexible and fair. I wouldent mind working with overhead door again in the furture.
