Fred custom-made my wedding band and it exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I love this building but felt very uncomfortable. Never have I been in a jewelry store for the length of time I was. And looked through every case and display and left. The entire time with out so much as a welcoming greeting or offer to help us or offer to show anything in the cases. I saw some very different styles. Unfortunately what I was searching for is a uncommon piece. I likely will have to search for a place that can make it for us. I even thought before looking if only I could get something from a cad file. Very odd as they werent overly busy. I did notice staff watching us as we looked at the displays that were not under glass. So dont worry we didnt steal anything but it was clear staff felt they had a potential their instead of a special client.

I had an issue with something I purchased here recently but Carole is going above and beyond to remedy the situation. I found this an unexpected surprise given that they are planning to close soon. Which is a shame. Their physical space is gorgeous, the jewelry is beautiful and spans a wide variety of styles and prices, and their customer service is outstanding, not only while you are there shopping, but also afterward. I don’t know what their plans are next, but they have earned my respect, and I wish them nothing but the best.

Fred is awesome. A very talented, knowledgeable person that you could tell deeply cares about his craft.EDIT:I wanted to to update this review after working with Gina to design an engagement ring. Gina taught herself how to use CAD software. She prints out models in the store try on before the ring is cast. My fiance and I acted as creative collaborators with Gina while she ensured that the band and setting were structurally sound and could make real time adjustments to the model in front of us.Thank you for rendering our dream ring Gina.

Expensive, but fantastic quality.

Located in a beautiful building with salespeople who are very nice and helpful. Gina (owner) makes most of the jewelry right there and the pieces are absolutely astonishing!! Not only do they make jewelry but metal smiths are in the store ready to help create a new piece, fix an old piece, repair a watch, and/or put in a new battery for you!!

Took a ring in for resizing after other big-name jewelers said they couldnt do it; The Goldsmith didnt hesitate to fix it and they did a wonderful job! It looks better than it did when I took it in and you cant even tell it was resized. I was blown away by how great it looked. The next time I need something done to my jewelry I wont even consider taking it anywhere else!

This store is outstanding. I lost my gift card along with my purse and the were able to recover the amount of the card. Unbelievable.Staff are so friendly, kind and so knowledgeable. Store and merchandise are gorgeous.

Love a business with high quality products and staff that gives every customer the personal attention they deserve. At Goldsmith I get just that. Today I broke the clasp of my necklace, I walked in and they fixed it on the spot at no charge to me. Grateful and that service is why I recommend them to my friends all the time!

The Goldsmith is a bit of heaven on earth, rich with collections to please every taste in jewelry (some exquisite pieces created right there!) and so much more: beautiful glass, clay pieces, textiles, clocks; the list goes on. Check the website if you care to, but much better it is to experience The Goldsmith in person. That way you can also enjoy the staff: delightful, helpful, very knowledgeable. As I said, its a bit of heaven on earth.

I love this store. They have extremely beautiful jewelry and the most helpful people ever. My husband and I bought my wedding ring here, they went out of their way to make it perfect, even sending away to France to get the setting I wanted! We worked with Renee, who Ꭵs wonderful, but everyone there will do whatever it takes to make your purchase a happy experience. Weve been shopping at the Goldsmith for many years and would highly recommend it.

Simply put, Gina and Fred at The Goldsmith are extraordinary. They are professional, thorough, and easy to work with.I needed an engagement ring for a family stone and when Fred explained that a custom ring was possible, I was all in. Gina worked up a prototype in her CAD program, and 3D printed in wax. They let me follow along with the whole process as it was made, from the casting to the polishing/engraving. The final piece was a masterwork. And when it came time to get the wedding band, Gina designed a complementary wedding band and Fred engraved it to match, to perfection. All the while their staff was courteous and welcoming, frequently asking how the proposal and subsequent wedding planning was going. Everyone at The Goldsmith goes the extra mile.If you have any jewelry needs, you dont need to look past The Goldsmith.

Being a man and needing help when it comes to buy stuff like this, the Goldsmith is a wonderful place. They know my name when I walk through the door, they some how know or keep track of my wife, my mother and mother n laws favorite items and or taste. The new store is so nice and I always look great when I come home with that gold box with the bow on top. I can always find some thing weather it is jewelry or a different and unexpected gift. I highly recommend them and I have not shopped other jewelry stores in a long time.

Goldsmith of Binghamton is one of the best jewelry stores in all of New York State. They have the most amazing designs with an emphasis on high quality and their pricing is very reasonable. This store is exceptional.

This establishment offers an impressive variety of fine designer jewelry and gifts of all kinds. Whether you are looking for an engagement ring, anniversary or wedding gift, or everyday jewelry, they have it all! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to accommodate every customer that walks through the door. As an added bonus, The Kilmer Buildings architecture is absolutely stunning, being in The Goldsmith is an experience in and of itself! There is really no store in the Southern Tier that matches its uniqueness and beauty.

What a store! Its the only jeweler in Binghamton that I frequent. The staff is warm and helpful, and the collections are unique and beautiful. Renee was quite helpful to my wife and me when we were purchasing wedding rings. I visit 2-3 times a year for a birthday, Christmas and anniversary.

We have been purchasing elegant jewelry and gifts from Gina and her staff for at least 35 year. Simply put they have the nicest collections in the Great Binghamton area. When you couple that with their helpful, knowledgeable and courteous customer service there is no need to go anywhere else!

I own a Waterford crystal clock. The clock stopped working. I could have bought a replacement online, but like to buy local whenever possible. I went to Goldsmith and was told the watch repair person only came in on Tuesdays. I left my clock and waited for someone to call me back. The next day a man with an affected British accent,tolld me the clock would be repaired for $33, and that they would wait to hear from me. The very next day I went in person to their store and said $33. is great go ahead. I waited the week and heard nothing. So, I called today. The same man answered the phone. He claimed they were still waiting to here from me. I told him I had been in a week ago and said go ahead. He said well who did you see. I told him two ladies I had seen both other times. He said well now it will be another week. It is hard to describe his attitude, but it was clear he didnt want my minimal business. I said nevermind I will do this online . I want my broken clock back. He said well we wont have your clock to return to you until next week. I guess $33.00 repair is not worth much so I wont trouble the Goldsmith with my minor business. I do hope they return my still broken clock next Tuesday. Update: I picked up my broken clock today. My take away is this: Deal with one of the ladies and avoid Enrey Eiggins.

This store is the most amazing experience in Binghamton, it is the closest to being in NYC. The display work is professionally done, obviously executed by someone that is highly trained. The jewels are so unique and the staff is always there to help you pick out the perfect piece. I also had the opportunity to check out their instagram page...lovely pics! This jewelry store is a must see!

I took my watch to get a battery on Aug. 3rd. They sent it out to some guy named Johnny, he said he couldnt put a battery in without damaging my watch. So I am taking it over to Dakota Watch Company. This gent said if he cant replace the battery, he will buy me a Rolex for free! As far as The Goldsmith goes, obviously I wouldnt recommend them for watch repair. They should not be listed under watch repair, if they dont have it available in HOUSE!!!!!

The Goldsmith is a little slice of heaven in Binghamton. The staff is wonderful. The selection is both trendy and classic. Its a feast for the eyes when you walk in the store.

Gina helped me to design a new setting for my diamond after I broke the antique setting that it had been in for a century. It was not easy to live up to that but she made it happen and my husband and I could not be happier!

I tried to reach out to them to get answers about what they can and can’t do because it isn’t very clear on thier site and when I was answered I got a short answer that didn’t directly answer my question and when I asked a fallow up question to clarify I couldn’t get an answer.

The staff is helpful and the selection is very good. Prices in each range.
