Ive been going here for years and this is a great place to buy or service your bike with reasonable rates. Very knowledgable and great customer service (read: they are not bike snobs). Flats are often fixed while you wait if needed. I bought my wifes bike here years ago, and my road bike 3 years ago. They are honest and know what they are doing. Be aware in busy times, tune ups can take up to a week, but thats because they have a large customer base. I do know that they do not service electric bikes now, so find a shop with that specialty. They are patient and willing to explain issues in understandable way to experts and regular folks. Great shop!

I was given a hardly used mountain bike that was about 20 years. The bike basically sat in a basement for 20 years. The bike needed some work and Beverly bikes was able to perform a tune up and replace the tires/tubes in about 6 days. The rides like its brand new. The kids are happy. Thanks Beverly Bikes

Awesome job and great customer service. Brought in a classic bike, Nishiki Olympic 12, that had seen a good amount of abuse and neglect. Dropped off on a Thursday, told I could expect it on Tuesday and was actually able to pick it up two days later on Saturday. This wasnt a tune up but replacement of almost everything but the frame. Couldnt be happier with how it came out,looks almost new and rides great.

Upfront and honest. Reasonable service rates and they do good work. The employees are all pretty friendly and willing to answer questions. They dont try to convince you that you need to spend a fortune on a bike to ride. Most helpful of the local bike shops I have found..

Great bike store. On vacation and forgot my bike shoes. If you use clips you will understand. I was given the option to borrow shoes or to changeout my clips for peddles. Quick change over. We were given great local ride info. They offered to set us up with a bike trip as well .Thanks for the friendly reasonable priced great service. Thank you for saving our trip.

Apparently not wanting to do simpleCustomer service today. I brought my bike there and was turned away and I don’t think I was treated nicely or like I would have treated someone, they could not fix my bike and seemed to care less and said they did not service electric bikes when I have been serviced there in the past. Not even a sorry or thank you and I had called ahead and wasted my lunch break.

Incredible service! Was visiting from out of town and they hooked me up with a great loaner bike, recommended safe and fun riding routes, set me up with ride buddies, invited me on their group rides. All for an out of towner who wasnt going to be a long time customer. I really cant say enough great things about the staff here!

In the search for bikes for my fiancee and I, I made a point to stop by multiple bike shops in Beverly - Browns, Central Cycle, and here.These guys have ensured that my business will remain with them - they were super knowledgeable, personable, and did not apply sales pressure while answering any questions I had while also telling me what I need to know. Im a bike newbie & hadnt ridden since I was a child, but everyone in the shop (and especially Bill) made me feel right at home.

Was out looking for mtb owner sat me down and took time out to fit me to the best bike I have ever owned.... the owner was the best !!!

Got quoted $160 to tune up my girlfriends bike, figured that is just what it cost no big deal. Just got my 96 sportster back from the shop tuned up, carbs rejetted and cleaned for $200. Probably just take the bicycle to the harley shop next year.

Rented a bike for the second time in last three year while I was in the area for the Salem Film Fest. It was easy, the service was good and everything worked out great. I found the prices competitive with other shops. This shop is located perhaps a block from the MBTA commuter rail out of Boston so it is a great place to grab a bike and follow the coast up to points North, South.

They were so kind. I dont remember the mans name but he gave me a blinker for the back of my bike for free, and he offered me a discount if I went to get him a coffee down the street while he got my new bike ready. Just a really nice guy who gives good information without upselling.

One of the most personable shops I have ever been in while still carrying an air of professionalism. They are always willing to work with the customer and humble about mistakes. It has a phenomenal atmosphere. This is definitely a family owned local gem that I would like to have my business.

Beverly Cycles is honestly the best bike shop I have ever been to. It has a really homey atmosphere, very comfortable and inviting. The people working there are incredibly polite and respectful, personally I knew nothing about bikes, but they treated me as they would anyone else. The mechanics are knowledgeable and kind and honest, they walked me through the repairs and what was being done on my bike step by step. The owner Bill is hilarious, and sociable, definitely a personality you have to meet. My tune up was done very quickly and it ran like it was new. I am a regular there now because there is always a friendly face and a cup of coffee (or if Im lucky fresh tea!). If you like biking at all Beverly Cycles is the place you want to be, they go way beyond just bike service.

The best bike shop around, Bill and Mike are the best! service is top notch and they will make sure everything is right. i had a set of brakes i bough on amazon and i could not get them to work, they spent a lot of time trying to fix them found out they were junk. Mike was able to get everything replaced for me under warranty and didnt even charge me for the full amount of time he spent working on them.They also run group rides for just about anyone and are an awesome group to ride with.I highly recommend going there if you need a new bike service or are just looking for a group to ride with.

I recently found this place by accident because my bike broke down during a ride miles from home. At first I thought the young man who works there was nice but after a very short period of my bike being there I come back (after 2 calls saying I need my bike back with a yes on the second call only to find my bike stripped of all my equipment and accessories and the owner a obnoxious rude old angry bigot said tough and said that was not his problem. Ive since taken it up with Beverly police and they said it is definitely a crime but one that needs a judge to get my stuff back so off to court I go! Seriously if you cant feel safe leaving a bike there why would any stupid fool trust them!

Its true, these guys are awesome. I drive 35-45 minutes just to come here for bike servicing; it feels really much like one of those regular hangout/homey feeling joints in TV shows. They live and breathe biking (they bike everyday themselves) so they know their stuff! Highly recommended.

I went to the shop not knowing anything about cycling. The gentlemen that worked there were MORE than helpful. They custom fit my bike for me, hooked me up with some discounted pedals and special ordered shoes for me. Ive also done a few group rides with them and learned a lot about cycling along the way. Id recommend them to anyone looking to start cycling!

I bought my first performance road bike from this shop and Ive never wanted to go anywhere else. The staff is very knowledgeable and enjoys fixing bikes as much as they enjoy riding them. The shop hosts frequent group rides (both road and mountain) and they are always welcoming to new riders. Whenever someone asks me about what shop to go to, I always recommend Beverly Bikes. Just bought another bike from them this past week! I refuse to go anywhere else.

You cant go wrong with this place...Bill and Mike know their stuff, and go out of their way to teach you it, too. One of, if not The friendliest bike shops you could ever go too. A classic local bike shop, I stop in regularly for parts, to catch a group ride or have a coffee. Ive found the staff to be both knowledgeable and personable. Theyve helped me get the most miles of enjoyable riding for my dollar.

Placed was closed at 5 om Saturday, i stopped by at 545 not knowing they were closed. Pulled into the parking space and owner was leaving and asked me what i wanted. Opened the store and sold me a bike pump. Highly recommend!

I have two friends who bought really nice bikes from Bill (the owner). They both have been really happy with their experience, and have gone on bike rides with Bill and his community through this shop.Ive had a few conversations with Bill and bought a couple small pieces of hardware from him. He and his employees have offered me coffee when Ive visited, and even hooked me up with a slice of pizza one time. If I ever get into biking more it will be through this shop.

Mike made a great first impresssion, very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring person and he didnt try to pursuad me into buying mountain bike parts that I dont need. Very honest. Plus he made me a cup of coffee. I live in Middleton and this is now my go to shop. Highly recommend it.

Owners Bill and Mike are there to give you the great service thats hard to find in many retail shops today. I had the pleasure of buying my first road bike from B2 Cycles and was more than pleased with the entire experience the staff is always attentive never pushy and extremely knowledgable about all facets of cycling and equipment but more importantly, they want to know about you and your needs and the type of riding you enjoy. Many group rides and indoor training classes are available out of this shop. Custom fitting, and performance enhancement and training skills are also available. Great LBS.

They charge significantly more than other bike shops in the area. However, the service is just mediocre. Employees are not very friendly. They dont even clean up your bike thoroughly after a tuning up. Very disappointed. Ill never come back to this shop.
