Recently, I decided to make a big move from Southern California to Bettendorf Iowa. Why? For a man I love that I’m re-starting my life with. Being that we’re expecting, traveling to see my new home prior was impossible, as covid and pregnancy complications caused a whole new level of stress. So, once we made the move and drove out here, I got to thinking.. what’s his bed like? Who’s been in it before me? Is it too soft? Is it cheap? I’ve never been in it. He’s always come to visit me. Yes, this all sounds odd. And yes, it is. Who moves blindly to a new state and on top of that, allows their mate to purchase a home while you vet it via FaceTime? Me, I guess. Back track a little more- I grew up with a mom who is an interior decorator. She knows the best of the best and only caters to the best. I’ve lived my life sleeping in the most expensive beds and sitting in custom made chairs and sofas. I didn’t want to downgrade that and sleep on something that perhaps was already previously shared with someone else and also, could be quite uncomfortable. Comfort to me means everything, especially considering all the change I was experiencing. And, battling insomnia most of my life, I really couldn’t fathom having that and being uncomfortable. When I told my spouse that it felt odd to sleep in a bed that perhaps prior girlfriends slept in, he understood immediately that I wanted a fresh start.. new house, new bed, new life. He gets me. He’s worked with l&w before and assured me I would love the bed he was going to make for us. I told him, no, I’ll give you the brand I like and we’ll go buy that. He insisted. I let him get his way and I’m so happy I did! Every night I crawl into this bed, im not exaggerating, I tell him how glorious it is. Have you ever held a newborn before? Cradled their little heads and bodies in your palms? That’s what this bed is. A set of gigantic hands cradling you at night. I don’t feel my man move at night, he doesn’t feel me move. It’s the perfect firm and soft combo. By far, this is better than any expensive bed I’ve purchased in the past. My mother vouches for it too, it’s remarkable ! I actually sleep through the night, undisturbed. Bye Insomnia! I swear- this bed cured it.

L&W makes the very best mattress that has ever been made! It is a family owned business and the quality is superb! I bought my first mattress from L&W bedding in the early 90’s. BEST MATTRESS EVER!!!! I am no longer in Iowa but am going to order my new Mattress from L&W Bedding. They do not cut corners and the mattresses provide the best support of any mattress I have ever owned. I am so happy L&W is still making their mattresses and will be able to ship a mattress to me even though I am out of state.

I picked up my mattress set today at L&W bedding in Moline. According to their website, the set I ordered was listed at$1599. They charged me $1699. When i pointed out the difference, I was told they hadnt gotten around to changing the website yet!!Isnt that false advertising???? I was VERY tempted to walk away !!!Dont you think you should change the website BEFORE charging me the higher price???? NOT HAPPY!!!

Lady was very knowledgeable and helpful, stated she was only filling in for the regular salesperson. Just not a fan of ordering a bed with trying the exact size/fit first.
