I used to spend a couple thousand dollars a month here. No specific department. Just odds and ends. It has gotten so bad the last year. I just left the store. Was looking to pick up a couple tools. Less than $500. The associate in the tool aisle didn’t say a word for 15 minutes as I scanned the overstock rack. They actually cut right in front of me to put cut up cardboard in their cart. Not a word. I walked out.

I am from out of town and came in to buy metal cutting blades. There were none on the shelf and Javier helped me to try and find them. We found different size equivalent blades and he helped to make sure I was satisfied on the price difference. People make the difference in stores and Javier and Brian at checkout were that difference. Great job Home Depot!!

Worst customer service ever. Purchased a washer, dryer and paid for delivery and install. Installers didnt bring the stacking kit the first time around, so we had to have them set our appliances in the garage. Waited two weeks for another install and then the guys said they werent able to lift anything. WTH.. Dont waist your time and money on their installs! Called to speak with store managers and got the run around from two different managers on two separate days. This has me furious and I wont spend another cent at this store!

Great place for all building material at great prices. Getting the credit card can help finance that renovation expense

Seemed very professional at first when setting up appointment for install. Got a text to confirm time the day before so I thought we were good to go. Woke up in the morning and started disassembling the bed frame, unplugging electronics, moving furniture out into the kitchen...I then recieve a call 20 minutes AFTER the time they were supposed to be showing up to tell me that they cannot make it and that they would have to reschedule as early as 2 weeks out!!!My house is now a complete disaster and we wasted 3 hours moving everything out of the bedrooms. I took work off for the day for absolutely no reason. Terrible experience.Edit: they did work out a sooner install date and even had a crew drive 6 hours to install the carpet. Also slight compensation for the trouble. I appreciate the effort to fix it.

Was a very good experience. My wife usually does not let me go here but she was out of town last weekend. I bought some wood planks and some nails to make a home for all of the lizards that got dumped into my car that day.

Because the Home Depot associates were getting on the job training, I was unable to get some herbicides advice and the yard product that would resolve my clover issue. It seemed,, the assistance were learning the location of products and were comfortable sharing they did not know.So, back home I went, to do my own research. Self help and Loyalty to the internet✅.Bigbox store, the expected service is considered knowing the location of a product. But, knowing the products may be to much to ask.

Worst store I ever worked at. Kevin Longwell is the worst district manage I have ever had. Told me I could not perform my job to my expectations, and to let all the associates slide by. Patrick the OSM operation manager wanted me to pencil whip the paper work and not hold my associates accountable for them not doing their job. Ended up getting fired for asking where my raise was at when I was supposed get it three months before. Walked my out for poor job performance. Walked into that store missing plan by 35k with 5 months left in the fiscal year. Finished the year at over 100k over plan..if that is poor job performance..I feel bad for all the other great employees that work there..just sad.

Garbage service. Went in for a quote for a shed and the pro desk was not there. The average working person will never see then due to working. The employees there at the time were completely worthless cause they didnt know how to look up the items i was looking for, i had a list. And they missed stuff. And it was much more expensive then other places. Even with items missing. Place is junk.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with my online order. Store was very well maintained and organized well.

Looking for new counter tops for our kitchen, upon arrival we searched for help. Two employees where sitting on chairs complaining about dumb customers. We asked about counter tops, one pointed to another aisle, didnt get up help us, just keep complaining. We wont be back. The two lazy employees were in the flooring dept.

We have always had repeat employees help us! Our last visit we met Josh who informed us about Home Depot’s consultation process for remodeling our bathroom and pointed us in the right direction for all of the items we needed that day. We always leave with way more than we need! Love visiting

Poor customer service. Employees dont make eye contact so they wont be bothered with a question or have to say hello. When asked where an item was, I got an aisle number barked at me, 13!!! Asked if the manager was around, got a shoulder shrug. No offer to call or find him. So, I called later and was put on hold forever. Somebody better whip this place into shape!! Theres plenty of competition around.

Went in since I was in town to see what kinds of materials they would have that I could source through them. After looking at sheet stock, I had 3 different materials that I wanted to purchase. I asked the man running the panel saw if he could cut it a certain way, and that is when he looked me up and down and said I dont cut Pinterest projects. I was trying to show him the dimensions to cut a 4x8 sheet into 20 semi-equal pieces. Nothing to do with pinterest and no mention of that site at all. He said he would go find someone. By the time employee number 4 either ignored me completely or claimed they would find someone, I was done. Didnt spend a dime. Apparently, they only take you seriously when it comes to lumber if you are a man, look like a man, or are accompanied by a man. The only reason I give 2 stars is because when I called their customer support line, Linda was super nice and helpful in saying that this report will be a training moment for those employees.

Found what I was looking for at a decent price. However I had to carry all 4 items out of the isle to my cart. There were a lot of pallets with product on them parked down the middle of the isle, leaving no room to push a cart.

They referred me to Crew 2 and these guys canceled twenty minutes after they were supposed to be here. Home Depot won’t answer their phones. Why would you refer me to someone who isn’t punctual. We moved all of our stuff out of two rooms for these people to cancel. Go thru someone else for carpeting.

Helpful staff, clean store, reasonable prices, and usually have what I need. I shop here regularly when I do home improvement projects

Waited forever for Heather in cabinet department to get off her break... and then when she did she could not have been more rude. We clearly were annoying her with our questions. We had our measurements which both Lowes and Menards were able to understand and input to their design program and give an estimate but clearly Heather was not! So looks like we will choose one of those options. And will never return to home goods.

If you are going to remodel youre kitchen ask for Heather. She didnt try to push expensive anything on me. She asked what I was looking for, my price range and was so helpful. Ive gone in a couple times since ordering cabinets and she has helped and answered all my questions.

I wouldnt even give them one star if I could not put any on here because home Depot is the biggest rip-off in the city for building materials everything is way overpriced and all of their employees dont know anything about materials to begin with Zillow helpfulness from anybody and like I said everything is way overpriced who wants to pay $10 for a two by four

Today I received my new range that we purchased from Home Depot. After installing it in our kitchen I realized how in need of a new microwave and dishwasher we were. I visited your bttendorf location and looked for an associate for over 20 minutes. Finally I found an employee walking by an isle and asked if I could get an associate to help me make a purchase. He disappeared for 10 minutes only to return to tell me that the man that usually works that department called in sick. He told me if I knew what I wanted I should go online and order it. I didnt want to wait another month to receive a microwave like I had to for my stove. Needless to say I chose to go up the street and purchase one at Lowes.i will also be purchasing my dishwasher and bathroom fixtures from them. Im really disappointed to see your store in Bettendorf go downhill so much.

Didnt like,didnt have a very good selection.

While I understand the world is in a bit of a different state right now, customer service still matters. We ordered a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher about a month ago. The dishwasher was delayed due to back order. While I understand that happens (especially with covid) I wasn’t informed until after the scheduled delivery date. I was only informed because I called and waited on hold and bounced around being transferred 12 times, for 2 hours. I was then told “I can’t tell you why it’s not there now, I’m busy.” The employee then hung up. I was called back and given the date of today. And wouldn’t ya know, it’s past my delivery window and still no delivery. It is incredibly frustrating that the service desk employees don’t actually listen to what you are trying to resolve and hit the transfer button before you finish speaking. Thankfully one employee (of 5 I spoke to today) did listen and he was able to help. Despite his helpfulness I will never make an appliance purchase (or any purchase for that matter) here again. Rude people are the worst people and I’ve ran into one too many here.

Went in, greeter was friendly. Asked an employee where the gas fireplaces are, she typed into the website looking for them then walked about two aisles with us. We walked the entire length of the store and asked another guy who just quickly said aint going to find them. I dont have them. Didnt offer anything else. We know they are on the website so dont know if we could order one but we sure wont from them now.

I love there plants and very good service

I went to Home Depot mainly to purchase some waterproofing paint. The person in the department was very helpful in answering my questions about the colors I could get. I also needed some other miscellaneous items and was also helped in those departments . It was a very positive experience for me. I would recommend shopping there anytime.

Better than Lowes when it comes to customer service.

Most of the floor employees were pretty helpful, my only issue was that when something rang up a price that i didnt agree with, the cashier just stared at me & never offered any assistance or to call someone.

Would only go here if nowhere else has it staff seems disgruntled and they only offer veterans a discount on Veteran Day there are other stores that will give discounts all year long with much better staff and better selection. Dont bother with Home Depot go to Lowes

Really people, avoiding a public health disaster is not a personal choice. Its hard to understand why social distancing is required in the store but masks are merely, according to a sign well inside the store, a personal choice. And, it was a choice made by virtually no one shopping there. It is fairly clear from the German experience that masks, if we would all wear them, would reduce the spread of the disease by about 40%. I cant believe that Menards is suddenly the beacon of social responsibility. In any case, I wont be returning to the Home Depot if I can avoid it.
