Beats the big-name stores hands-down. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, quick, and reasonable prices. Every time I’ve been in here, someone has volunteered to help within a minute or two, and they’ve helped me find what I was looking for quickly every time. It’s amazing how much they can pack into a relatively small store - I haven’t yet walked out empty-handed.Customer service at the big chains has deteriorated horribly, especially over the last year or two, but not so here. I always try to come here now instead, unless I need something late-night or I want to leave carrying some sort of giant appliance or lumber.To be fair, I’ve never asked for either of those — who know what they’ve got up their sleeve for the bigger requests. :)

Good service nice place to get stuff from

My sister just moved to PA from NJ and I came to help her assemble her bed. We need some additional items to complete the assembly so we found this location. Loser to her apartment rather than traveling miles to HD. The gentlemen were all knowledgeable, pleasant and provided great customer service. Not just with us but with everyone that came in the store. Thank you Aykroyd Hardware for making us feel welcomed.

Helpful sales staff. Much bigger than it appears. Parking is not the best but its a great hardware store with an awesome selection.

First time at this business. Looks like a well stocked store. I was not making a very large purchase but every employee that wasnt with a customer were very eager and willing to help me. Good customer service has become a rarity. That is not the case at Aykroyds. Highly recommended.

Always friendly service and have what im looking for!

Only thing I did not like was that the employee at checkout didnt allow me to sign for my purchase. He also rushed threw the prompts so I did not see what I was being charged till I got my receipt.

Tried this place out based on all the great reviews...they had the odd tool I needed, (cordless Milwaukee buffer) had the knotted wire wheel I wanted, and got me out quick. Couldn’t be happier!

This place is the headquarters for Milwaukee tools! Huge inventory, and up to date on the newest tools, how they work, and how to use them.Very knowledgeable and professional staff, you won’t get this kind of help at Home Depot!They also have lots of thingamabob’s, Doohickey‘s, and other items you won’t find at the big box stores.

I come here for two reasons:1) Usually they have what Im looking for when Im working on a new project and...2) The store is reputable, and the people who work here will find what you need very quickly for you.If you dont want to travel out of town for hardware, this is the place to come to.

Knowledgeable enough bunch of folks and a well stocked store. But the minute I walk in the store they ask if they can help me. Knowing the layout of the store and what I am there for specifically I tell them no, thank you though and yet they still follow me around the store honestly like a puppy dog and they watch and stare at you while youre shopping. This turns me off very much. Another reason to go to the Lowes/ Home Depot route.

Everything a small town hardware store needs to be, especially the staff. If you need a small blue thingie that kept your mothers door from banging, theyll find one for you without making you feel stupid. They are the librarians of the building trades. Great for almost any kind of key duplication too.

My go to place for hardware, tools and supplies. Recently purchased a sawzall and the blade that was to be included wasnt in the box. Pete, the owner, drove to my location and dropped off blades within 20 minutes of telling him about the problem.
