The food was really good, fresh and flavorful, usually when you go to a dinner to eat breakfast you taste the oil and greasiness of the food. But this one is an exception, freshly made with herbs and just right amount of seasoning. The restaurant is clean and the staff are so nice and accommodating! Would definitely come back!!
During a little weekend away in Bethlehem this past summer, my husband and I ate here for breakfast. It was still open during Covid and it has such a quaint garden with plenty of seating. And at the end of the garden is access to a bike/walking path - so cool!The food was also great with good portion sizes and the price was even better. Also, we had a very kind and helpful waiter who made us feel welcomed when he found out we were visiting Bethlehem.Overall, this was a nice place to eat on the SouthSide away from Main Street and downtown.
Actually one of my bus stops is almost in front of the cafe. Everyone Ive ever chatted with from there seemed polite. Tried a breakfast there over 2 yrs ago, if I recall was pricy.. Still appears well organized, some unusual menu choices. There was sense of politics about here that can distract from only enjoying the meal. Otherwise quite nice bldg. Its Right next to the dedicated South Side fire company. Our heros, tough job

Was coming through town and gave it a try. Breakfast for all 3 of us was absolutely amazing. Honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bagel and cheese for my sandwich was very fresh. You have to try this place out! All staff were wearing masks during COVID times and were following precautions.
Very nice place to stop for a relaxed, casual breakfast. The pancakes were deliciously light and fluffy, the scrambles eggs were perfectly soft and creamy. The dining room is open and inviting and the outdoor seating area is beautiful and serene. My wife and I look forward to exploring the full menu.

I absolutely love Cafe the Lodge. not only is it a good service an opportunity for the community and its support of individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, but its also a great place to get delicious food and coffee. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, but sometimes the service is a bit slow. If youre eating in, just be ready to wait a bit for your food and enjoy the time that you get to sit. Very European!

Cute casual cafe with limited menu and lots of local art works for sales on the wall. Come early, it gets busy. Ordered at counter, get your own coffee and free refill. Food is abundant and server is friendly. Place is clean and cute. Will visit again.

I love this place!!!! The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch options with daily specials. Be sure to try the soup! I also enjoy all of the different rooms to eat in. The artwork adds individual character to each setting. The outside patio area is calm and beautiful. I always leave happy!
My family and I had my Aunts surprise birthday brunch here. All went well. We were able to reserve a back room for the event. The staff are very nice people. Their outside porch area is quite something- flowers, a fish pond, artwork, bench, etc. It would be a good place for mindfulness or yoga haha.

First time there. My girl and I went. I got the Lumberjack with peppers, onions, and mushrooms with hashbrowns. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection and every bite told me how fresh the ingredients were. The presentation blew me away. It almost got me to take a pic of my plate and post it which I swore never to do. Staff was very friendly and the decor was cool. When the weather warms up will definitely be eating on the patio. Total price for 2 was $20! Great food at a great price and a worthy cause. Will definitely be back regularly. Check it out.
The Lodge is such a happy place. Delicious food from Alan and crew, smiles from Rose, Carmen and Diamond. This is a yummy and comfortable place to be. Check out the garden in the back!
The food is awesome and well priced. The staff is so kind and open mic nights have incredible local young talent. The back garden is GORGEOUS. It is also an amazing program run by a great organization. If you are in the area, please stop in.
Cafe the Lodge is a great place to have breakfast! Quality. Service. Social conscience. Price. Cafe the Lodge has it all. I had the Scrambled eggs with Feta and Sun-dried Tomatoes. I was very pleased. Excellent. Filling. Nice presentation, and complete rye toast and not your average home fries.I highly recommend the Cafe the Lodge.

A very unique place I never expected to find where I did! Atmosphere is so quaint and relaxing. They have a varied menu and are very creative with much of what they offer. I especially love the specialty ice teas. They are a bit pricey however.

Very good as far as burgers and sandwiches go. Only had choice of potato salad as side.. Wish there were fries or chips. Server Michelle wasnt the friendliest, didnt smile or do anything beyond the minimum. Orange Passionfruit smoothie gets an 8/10 from me! Would recommend overall.

I ate their Cuban Sandwich - DELICIOUS! Their unsweetened iced tea was also great.My friend had a salad which was huge and she ate every morsel - that too was tastey!Would definitely recommend.Very clean.Courteous employees.Looking forward to going back!

We were visiting from Out of town.Did a search for Breakfast restaurants and came across Cafe the Lodge 🤔.My husband tells me that I have discriminated taste 😲.To some that maybe insulting, but if ones is food critic and enjoys food as much as eating it and preparing it for others,I get it.The restaurant is quaint,friendly and clean.The food was extremely delicious 😋😋.I ordered the Brulee Oatmeal that had an distinct amount of flavors ,and homemade cranberry walnut muffin, my husband ordered scrambled eggs with fresh feta and sundried tomatoes and thick rye toast. And selective fresh brewed coffees included .Overall if your traveling through Bethlehem downtown a must to stop in!Linda & Henry Haussling👍

I love the atmosphere and the sincerity of the employees. This cafe feels very welcoming and although I am just passing through the Bethlehem area, I can tell this cafe is a gem to the community. Not to mention, my chai tea latte, chipotle chicken panini and mushroom chicken soup is delicious. Definitely worth stopping by for a quick bite or to get some work done!

Best breakfast sandwich in south Bethlehem. For a great price. I have been here multiple times and will be returning.
Went in and the place looked very cute. Art on the walls and very large seating area. Although it all looked very nice, the line took way to long. Once we got to the register and ordered our food, they charged us the completely wrong price. $17 for 2 bagles. When asked to fix they had gotten the order wrong entirely. Mind you we asked for 2 bagles toasted with cream cheese, one with bacon (to go) Pretty standard order. Once our order was ready they had it in as we were going to eat there. So they had to take it back and pack it up for us to go. The bagle was okay, but they need some serious management in the back. A lot of high school kids, who knows if they were charging them crazy prices too. Good thing we caught it because the cashier didnt seem to notice that he was charging $17 for 2 bagles.

The best quiche in the Lehigh Valley, large slice that comes with a side salad of the freshest greens. You cannot beat it for the price and the convenience. They also have delicious soups and sandwiches that vary from day to day. Coffee and lattes are brought to you at your table and are hot and steamy and delicious. The staff is always pleasant. The place is so clean and the atmosphere quiet and perfect for taking a moment to read or meet with a friend or business associate.Check out the beautiful gardens in back where you can take your lunch outside and enjoy the lily pond. Stop by during the weekends, when they have their ice cream stand open along the Greenway walking path out back. This place is the best kept secret in Bethlehem, and the news needs to get out!!!
