On 02/17/2 I ordered 3 different flavor of ICecream from your website it took more than 1:30 hr to arrive only for the order to be incomplete.I called the store and Malachi with a cavalier I don’t care attitude tells me to come into the store and get the missing ice cream ON the store, I said it isn’t ON the store If you aren’t issuing a refund I already paid. He kept on repeating that I should come to the store nonchalantly. I told him my coming to the store defeats the purpose of my paying almost $10 for delivery. He then went on to tell me that he has nothing to do with the delivery person even though I ordered from the stores’s website. He went on further to tell me that I need to ask postmates for a refund. I told him it wasn’t Postmates fault that you didn’t pay enough attention and you gave the driver an incomplete order. He said well come and get an ice cream ON the store, I then asked are you issuing a refund and he says no. I went further to explain to him again that it wasn’t ON the store if you aren’t refunding for your mistake. He didn’t apologize, he was cavalier and nonchalant. I would like an apology an icecream on the house and a refund for the ice cream I paid for that I didn’t get . This individual lacks customer service and compassion. I couldn’t go into the store even if I wanted to because the store was about to close . So the hope of my obtaining a delicious the ice cream was dashed with impunity unsympathetic and unapologetic behavior.

We got a coupon in the mail for buy one frozen dessert, get one free. The store was empty on Tuesday at 7:30pm so we spent some time chatting up the scooper and landed on two pints to go. Ice cream was delicious, still pricy at 50% off but the star of the show was the young man working there. Wish we would have asked his name - he represented the brand well.

Incompetently managed!!! On Columbus Day 2015 at 4:30 pm they had only one (1) employee tending the store. We gave up after waiting more than 20 minutes in line. Never again!!!PS: Just found out that H-D is a Nestle product. So I am glad I did not spend money there after all! :-)

Really good ice cream and excellent service

I had a horrible experience with someone that was serving ice cream. I am going to describe him physically in hopes that his manager reads this and identifies him. He is a young man in his late teens or twenties. He is tall (at least 6 feet), dark skinned and with dark, coarse/curly hair. The name on the receipt is Ahmed M.He was conversing with two or three girls st the register when I walked in. Instead of greeting me and acknowledging my presence, he continued his conversation with the girls. After standing there a while, I was able to make eye contact and give the indication that I was ready to be served. I ordered a regular cup of ice cream for $6.50. I gave him a $20 bill. He gave me $6.22 change. I said, I gave you a twenty. Thats an expensive cup of ice cream. He immediately realized he double charged me and gave me the correct change. I found it odd that he quoted me the correct cost of the ice cream but shorted me on the change.I sat at the outside table and ate my ice cream for about 5 minutes. This table was closest to the entrance and in the direct lime of sight of the cashier. When so hot to the car, I noticed I did not have my brand new Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. I immediately rushed back to the Hagen Daz and asked the same guy if I had left the phone at the counter. He looked me square in the eye and said, I saw a guy walk off with it. A look of fear and desperation must have been on my face as I said, Are you serious? Jesus Christ! He felt guilty, went into the drawer and handed me my phone.I guess I should be grateful to have my phone but the Bethesda Row Hagen Daz has a problem. At best one of their employees is dishonest. At worst, he is a thief. I will never return to that store if I see Ahmed M behind the counter. I wonder how many people have been shorted of their change or lost their phones while this guy was working.

This location of Haagen Dazs is tucked away by the Bethesda Theater so its hard to find. I worked in Bethesda for more than a year before I knew it existed. Nonetheless, if you need a sweet snack, its a good option especially on Free Haagen Dazs day!
