This place is great! The doc sooooo professional and good! Lovely lady! Very organized! Very quiet and attentive, I think appointments are scheduled in between. Just awesome!

The team at Lerner Vision Care was professional and efficient. I had not been to Dr. Lerner in 5 years and was in a bit of a hurry and the team was understanding and whisked me through with an extremely comprehensive examination. Moreover, checkout was quick and painless and they even offered (which I took them up on) to submit my results to the MVA (which was completed in 2 minutes).

This place is amazing and a great practice! the doctor is so helpful and professional and overall just amazing! I would recommend this place!

Dr. Marcie Lerner has been my eye doctor for many years, and I have always been happy with her excellent treatment. Dr. Lerner is not only kind, friendly, and very likable, she is also professional and thorough during exams, answering questions, and explaining any procedures. Parking is convenient in public lot located behind the building. I have no complaints about her staff working at the times I have been seen for appointments. Wonderful first-time experience here. I opted for the normal vision exam plus extra two tests since it had been a long long time since Ive had my vision checked. Everything was super easy and Dr. Lerner was so friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the whole appointment. Wonderful staff there as well and Ill definitely be coming back for all my eye care needs.

Dr. Lerner was excellent. She is thorough, professional and pleasant. I have now seen her twice and recommend her HIGHLY! The reason for three stars is averaging the excellent exam with the store. The frames are expensive and there was little help. I did not buy glasses there.

We have been coming to Dr. Lerner for our 5 years and we just love her and her staff. They always provide a thorough exam and everyone is helpful and available to answer any questions. The best part is that most appointments are less than 30 minutes :)

I have a very high prescription and I have been Dr. Lerners patient for a few years now. She takes great care to ensure that her recommendations for my eyes are the best possible options. Also, she and her staff are always professional, courteous, efficient, and patient. They take time to answer my questions about my eye health and new products thoroughly.

Clear communication of what was going on, straightforward care, booking of appointment was no problem. Theres a frames and lenses place downstairs so you can go right ahead and put that prescription to use if you like. Dr. Lerner is direct and engaging and Eri(c/k)a gracefully juggled multiple clients needs with good humor and efficiency. I have no problem making it my go-to place for as long as I live in the area.

Ive been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old and have experienced over 20 different optometrist/ophthalmologists,on 3 continents, in these 30 plus years. I appreciate the fact that not only do I receive a thorough and careful exam at Dr Lerners which accesses my eye health not just my corrective prescription, but also the explanation of what the tests are for and what they determine. New eye glass wearers should be educated on the process and their total eye health, not just given a prescription for glasses. Dr Lerner, is a eye care specialist not just an optometrist.

Gotten to know Dr. Lerner well thru Montgomery County Road Runners. This morning I went to her for an eye exam. Marie was very professional and did a great job with my eye exam this morning. What was once a 5 star review has been changed to 1 star. On July 1st, 2020 at 12:30 pm I called the office to confirm my 2 pm appointment with Dr. Lerner. I was treated extremely rudely by Erica. Some of her customer service skills, but I strongly sense not limited to, are condescending voice and yelling. Unprofessional by even minimal standards.Erica claimed to have called me yesterday (I never received her call). I had answered all of Ericas questions with Ymani last week. Ymani had told me she spoke with Dr. Lerner and was noting the info for my upcoming appointment. Apparently, according to Erica, that never happened. Although, she later stated there were notes.The notes should have been this:1) Due to my medical insurance restrictions I am paying out of pocket for this visit.2) My Rx for glasses is good but I believe my Rx for contacts needs updating. This is the reason for my visit.For some unknown reason, my needing an appointment 11 months after my last visit, confuses and frustrates Erica.In the end, I cancelled my appointment because I decided I dont deserve to be abused by anyone but especially not by my doctors medical staff.While I appreciate the complex difficulties doctors and their staffs are dealing with due to COVID-19 I still do not feel I should be verbally abused.I will schedule an appointment with my previous optometrist in Rockville. A further drive but I will be treated professionally and respectfully.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Dr. Lerner us a wonderfully caring optometrist. (Sorry. In the previous post, I forgot to change the stars). The service was great. Dr. Lerner not only examined my eyes, but made recommendations to improve my health status.

Dr, Lerner’s staff are a bit unfriendly. Also, staff were discussing another patient and her complaint (using the patient’s full name) right next to me while I was waiting for my appt, which I found to be distasteful, not to mention a violation of HIPAA law.

Even though I had an optometry exam for free through my health provider, I then went to Dr. Lerner for a second opinion and help with filling out critical DMV forms. Ah, what a difference! For an extremely reasonable fee, with a late Saturday afternoon appointment, the testing was remarkably thorough. She was extremely sensitive to my vision requirements, double checked the figures for a comprehensive prescription and solved my DMV bureaucratic problem, providing me with an excellent written report. All this with a kind, attentive and super-friendly manner. As a health care provider myself, I rate her as a rare super-professional that makes an appointment easy and pleasurable. It seems also that she has a good relationship with For Eyes, downstairs from her office, but there was never any pressure to use them to fill prescriptions. In sum, Dr. Lerner is very highly recommended!

Even with her very personal service, her equipment and testing is state-of-the-art and her location is insanely convenient - steps from the metro in downtown Bethesda and you can buy glasses and contacts right there!

The doctor is great. The staff was ok. twice i spoke on the phone witha male receptionist who was rude. i wish i knew his name to tell the doctor.
