Great bagels, white fish salad, lox cream cheese. The white fish salad has been saltier than usual lately (unfortunately), but its still good. Love the early morning hours and good service!

I’ve been here 3 times hoping that the bagels would maybe be better each time, but sadly they somehow got worse. Today I stopped in for an egg and cheese on an everything bagel—the bagel itself was fairly flat and about the size of my palm, while the single piece of egg felt barely adequate enough to constitute a sandwich. I was hungry again about 45 mins after I ate the thing. I really don’t like to leave bad reviews but I’d encourage whoever reads this to take the extra time and go to Bethesda Bagels instead. And if management sees this, please consider instituting some quality control measures 🤷‍♂️

NJ shocked!! Spent $ 22.25 for 4 unappetizing bagels and a small cream cheese and a small egg salad. Had a rude cashier who wasn’t wearing a mask. Can hardly chew the bagels. Coming from Nj to this is a rude awakening. Can’t wait to try the local competition. Sad that this place has so much promise but needs a total overhaul and a real bagel baker.

If you are going to Sarahs for ice cream, make sure to swing by Georgetown to pick up bagels for your next meal or breakfast tomorrow. When I drove to this area, my intent was just to get Sarahs. When I saw that this store front just a few steps away, I had to stop in. Im really glad I did.Incredible bagels, even next day. I ordered blueberry and pumpernickel rye. I also got a small container of the whitefish salad, which is SO. GOOD. I would actually go out of my way just to get that from Georgetown Bagelry. What set this visit apart was the customer service. I came in right at the last minute, when the store front was dead and ready to close up. Even though it was late and the end of the day, the staff was friendly and even struck up conversation with me, rather than quickly pushing me out the door.

Good bagels, terrible service. Its very unclear where to order, wait, and pickup online orders. The confusion forced 12 people waiting outside into a Lord of the flies situation where we had to decide our rules were for entering the store and decide who was going to complain at the front. Service (order timing, accuracy, and customer management) was also an issue pre-COVID, so its difficult for me to forgive the repeated issues.Management needs to step up their game and get some systems in place.

I have been coming here for years, and I stopped by for the first time in a while this morning. I was extremely disappointed. Their bagels used to be big and puffy like I remembered from New York when I lived there. Now they’re much smaller and the prices are astronomical. Sadly this will be my last visit here.

Really like the bagels but order accuracy is always a problem. Today they forgot the avocado which I paid for on my wife’s bagel sandwich. Can’t get a hold of anyone to easily get a refund (no email, language difficulty with staff on phone). They really need to publish a contact email.

Hate to write this, but it must be done: grew up around the corner from here so have been patronizing here for two decades & been a bagel connoisseur for over a decade. The repeatedly shrinking bagel size, declining bagel quality, and significantly diminished quality of fillings for breakfast sandwiches etc has been a massive disappointment with Georgetown Bagels. Sadly, I must recommend you stay away (as I will be) in favor of Bethesda or other bagel options downtown. Heartbreaking for my nostalgia, but this just isn’t worth spending money at anymore.

Great bagels done right, large with good crust, standard varieties freshly made. Friendly service and can be very popular at times with a line out the door. Top notch smoked salmon, whitefish and cream cheeses are standouts.

It is an easy walk from my job, so I thought I would give them a try instead of driving into downtown for Bethesda Bagels. I ordered a plain, toasted bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, hoping to get cream cheese and a piece of smoked salmon on top. Instead, I got cream cheese with smoked salmon blended into it. The receipt clearly says, LOX + CREAM CHEESE. Maybe I ordered it wrong. Even so, the bagel was narrow and unevenly shaped and toasted to black around one of the edges. I will say that it is at least priced fairly. The staff was unorganized, the lobby had boxes cluttering one of the booths. All in all, I wasnt happy with my first--and last--experience. Ill deal with the drive and get my sandwich from Bethesda Bagels instead. I guess I know why my coworkers dont go there.

Really good bagels, and the cream cheese is perfect. There are occasional off days where youll get a cinnamon raisin with no raisins or an overly salty everything bagel, but personally, I still find it worth it for the overall texture and flavor.

Really top notch bagels in an area that, frankly, doesnt have many options for good bagels. Bagels are hefty and have just the right amount of chew. They have a lot of variety and make some really killer bagel sandwiches. Not much in the way of decor. Its all about the bagels here.

Being a NY native, I tend to be a little picky when it comes to quality bagels. While not perfect, Georgetown Bagelry does an excellent job compared to some of the bagel spots in the DC area. 5 stars for the menu and fresh bagels. One star knocked off for the expensive prices.

Cashier Tia Nicole A had a horrible mood morning of Tuesday August 28th 2018She served as if she were doing us a favor. My mother who has an accent but is very well understood when speaking, had placed an order. When our order came and was wrong (completely wrong) she called us over to the register to pay for the mistaken order. Once I said I would like to speak to a manager she insisted there’s no manager present and that’s ok, but she followed me to our table after I said I no longer wanted the order due to her nasty attitude. She followed me to our table and began to speak, when I responded she replied “i’m not talking to you, (proceeded to look at my mother) ma’am you have to pay for the order.”Horrible service. Nasty attitude. Don’t work early shifts if you don’t have the right attitude to do so.***update- I proceeded to pay the difference and she charged me for 2 Miami bagels... I asked for one.She has left the building because it bothered her so much. She went home.A kind lady is now working the register and is doing wonderful.

Bad.Upon return home I discovered that the bagels I had ordered were not the bagels I bought. I wanted pumpernickel - which we love - and got poppyseed - which no one in our house is interested in. To make it worse, it was the farewell bagel eating before my kid set off to Europe to live there.Huge disappointment. People, check you bagel bags, no matter how long the line is! Do not rely on there being inside what you had actually driven, waited and paid for.

Everything toasted, lox spread, tomato, onion, & capers. Its not that hard, after a few years of patronage, one would thing you could figure that out. If it werent for the location there would be no reason to visit.

I would give them no stars but its not an option. I have come in the last two times to get a chocolate chip bagel. Both times they say they have it so I pay and then oh wait we dont have it so this time I suggest that they make more and the person behind the counter says I dont make the bagels which I understand but at least you should pass it along since you know its a popular choice. But the kicker here is that I said ok can I get pumpernickel, her response? Sure then a minute later she says no sorry we dont have that either. I wont be back. They never have anything other than the typical plain or everything and the staff is less than helpful and not knowledgable. I know Im in Georgetown but still I expect some kind of decent service. Worst bagel place ever.
