I called to confirm a specific lawn mower tire was in stock, the man confirmed and said theyd be waiting on me when I got here. I drove an hour only to find out theyre not the correct tires at all, nor did they have anything that would work. Long story short, I wouldnt take their word for it if youre looking for something. I think the guy was too busy talking and wasnt really listening to what I was asking for anyways. Was in a hurry to hang up the phone.

This was my first time shopping at Tractor Supply.. It wasnt at all what I expected and I must say I really liked it! They have all sorts of neat items perfect for gift-giving. I really liked the t-shirts, shoes and boots, notebooks, cups/mugs and all the pet items. I highly recommend shopping at Tractor Supply.**UPDATE**5/17/21Tractor Supply still gets 5 stars in my opinion! Kudos to Donna, the cashier who handled my return quickly and seamlessly - It was 100% hassle-free, the way it should be!

I definitely recommend the Bessemer tractor supply because all the employees there were extremely nice and very helpful. I called and went to the tractor supply in Jasper and in Gardendale and some of the employees were kinda rude. But I called and went into the Bessemer tractor supply and they were very friendly and helpful. They gave me great advice on taking care of ducks they made sure that I had the proper care package for them and gave me great information. And when I got my ducks at Bessemer the lady who got them was very careful and gentle with them . The lady at Jasper tractor supply who got my chickens killed one of them because she was rough with picking it up.

Billy at the tractor supply in bessemer is amazing yall he deserves a raise he actually went and looked for what I needed because it wasnt on the shelf after the other employee told him it wasnt there and he done told 4 people today they didnt have it and of course Billy still went and looked and he found it.

We shop here all the time friendly service... Staff is very helpful..But you have to be careful buying animal food ... Duck food had mold.. Pedigree.... big bags had mold.... And the meow mix ..had mold. Not all the time ... But 3 outta. The last 5 bags I bought ...Dog food .. last 2 bags of duck food..and this bag of cat food..Just letting someone know...

What a cluster this store is. Sunday afternoon, 1:05 pm. One cashier, one store worker I seen. 6 or 7 people in line, cashier keeps calling for help on front, no one comes. Store looks like a war zone. Manager is always on vacation when you ask to see him. This is not the employees fault but the store manager Richard. If you cant get employees to work then you need to be there. Sad to say, you live 10 mins from a store but drive to Tuscaloosa to shop at TSC.

Great place! Manager is very friendly! They do need more help. Manager said he cant get help to show up. Hes trying to help kids with work and jobs, but they lay out on Saturdays. Sad ! I love this store!

Walked around the entire store ( every aisle ) and never had anyone ask if I needed help. I almost found some replacement fuel line for my chainsaw, but there was none stocked. Dont waste your time driving to this location.

Nice staff, however, the store seems a little junkie. Need to clean and organize. It almost looks like a consignment shop, junk everywhere and out of place. Good luck

Great customer service

To my surprise I found a lot of what I was looking for . Love shopping there , however customer service and knowledge of products needs improvement. My first visit had excellent customer service from a young lady, the next time , NO . I would give 5 stars but because of the sour disposition of the guy at the register 3 stars. Good customer service is almost as important as finding what youre looking for .

I go here a lot to get chicken feed, they usually are pretty well stocked but today they didnt have the brand I usually get and there were no employees to ask if they had any in the back. The only person I could find was working the register and he was backed up with a line of customers. Had to get a different brand but for the one guy working he was very quick and got the customers out in a timely manner.

Good steaks, recommend you stick with the speciality especially the rib eyes. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are good, too. Try them loaded. Only problem is their popularity. When they get crowded service slows down a bit and have to wait a while for a seat.

Seems they need a few more employees. You can never find anyone on the floor, always have to go to the register and have them call someone. I have stood in line for a bit due to only one register open. I think any place should always open a second register if more than the 3rd person is in line.

I had stopped coming in here a while back(over a year ago) because the store was always disorganized and the staff was so rude, about a month ago I decided to give it another try as I needed a part for my mower that I knew they carried. I am so glad I did! The staff there was all new or seemed to be new faces, the cashier so was so helpful she came over and helped me find the correct air filter and fuel line I needed. I decided to walk around the store it was so much cleaner than before and I was actually greeted by the other 2 employees I went past. I think one of them was the store manager because he was explaining how to do something to the other person but was actually nice about it. Thank you for getting in people who actually know good customer service.

Very helpful start at this store, but I think the district manager was there so they were all on their best behavior. Even so, they helped me find what I needed and is on my way. I am glad to see more and more of these pop up in the state, it makes it much more convenient to get the items I need on the farm.

I like this store, but employees dont seem very helpful or motivated. I had a hard time returning an item here several months ago. But prices are pretty good, and I found two hummingbird feeders that I had not seen elsewhere.

Can I give less than 1? Im a senior and visited them Wednesday night. I bought Timothy hay that was to be buy one...get 2nd 50% off. I was with my young grand children who were helping me because of my vision. They picked up the 84 ounce large bag of hay and the youngest picked up a 35 Oz. We went to the register and I mentioned the buy one get one 50% off discount. She rang up my purchase. She did not tell me that I had mistakenly gotten the wrong second bag. I also asked her for a wooden pole to use as a support for a small tree. I was told they do not carry those items. I knew they clearly did. The store was completely empty of customers. I walked to the gardening area and with some difficulty (because of my vision)found the pole for under $3. If this is the type of employees and customer service that the Tractor Supply Company utilizes I will NEVER shop there again. I cannot understand how and why they would hire this young woman who is so inept and/or lazy... it is frightening. It would be better not to have anyone there at all!

I liked the store, but super disappointed that they sold two ducks to my 16 year old who stopped in. We have no place to keep them and cannot return them. Really cruel.

We love going to Tractor Supply Co.,even if we dont buy anything,we love to walk around and look at all the different things they have. In the Spring time I love going there to look at the baby chickens.

This has to the worst place for customer service. We purchased a lawn mower and the warranty and the now that lawnmower does not work ( purchased 11 months ago) no one wants to help us. We go to this establishment in which customer service was semi-better when they wanted us to purchase the mower to only be told that we need to call a 877 number. When we call the number, we are instructed that because of the warranty we purchased the local store should just replace it. When we go back to the local store, they tell us that the warranty for them does not cover us for another 2 years so we have to go the the manufacturer. We have been given the runaround for two days and our mower still is not fixed!!!!!! We will never purchase another thing from this store , this company and we advise you to be aware when buying from this location. We are now out of the money spent for the mower, the time it took to get told “we cannot help you”, and patience for the store to make it right !

Store was a mess. Boxes and products strewn over the floor making it difficult to walk or move carts, unorganized, and it seems like the never sweep. I understand the type of store they are, but this was ridiculous

HORRIBLE customer service!!! Went in to spend about $600 on equipment and garden stuff. Plants were half dead and when we finally found the piece of equipment (on our own), the box was open, so we asked if there were any others. The only person we could find was the cashier and she was NO help, didnt even attempt to get us any help and had the worst attitude we have ever experienced. When I asked if she was able to find us some help, she shot me a look that actually shocked me and I ended up shooting the look right back at her, told my husband to drop the tools he had in his hand and stormed out. We will NEVER shop in a Tractor Supply again and you can take that to the bank.

Management and customer service is by far the worst we have ever done business with. We bought a trailer and on our first trip the tires were just terrible...We had to buy new ones before we could pull it back to Alabama.They refuse to make a replacement until we called home office about it. Customer solution specialist called them and made them give us our money back..this was after the so called acting manager rolled her eyes at us followed by a sincere whatever​.... Yes! She actually said that to me. We decided to purchase a generator that would give us 30 amp service in our van at camp sites, so after finding one online at Tractor Supply, we decide to have it delivered to the store in Bessemer, because it is close to our home. when we picked it up the next day, we asked the new so called acting manager about our points on our puchases, and again we got a severe eye rolling, but this was another set of eyes. We are under the impression that eye rolling is part of management training. We again called the home office, and were told that the real manager would call us back the next day....... You guessed it, he never called back. So as far as our hard earned money going to that store again, all I can say is 😮 (eye roll) and a sincere.... WHATEVER....

Its an oasis for the urban farmer. They offer sturdy boots, more trailer hitches than most auto part stores, all kind of pet food including chicken, goats, and horses, as well as gardening tools, fences and all the stuff you need on a backyard farm. E.g. this is the only place in the Birmingham area where I could find a cant hook.The store could use some sprucing up and employees could start focusing on customer service but I can usually find what I need without help.

Its a Tractor Supply. People are nice but useless and the stuff is cheap but low quality. But thats what they do so 🤷

Very poor customer service, acted as if they hated to be bothered to handle a refund for an online order. Manager and cashier need help with customer service skills.

The clearance isle is usually unpriced, but the store is usually well stocked and kept very clean, bathrooms are clean and stocked also, love their sales, lots of country and farm decor.

So I went in and asked for a propane fill. The lady said oh we dont fill when its thundering and lightning. I said well thats good because it NOT thundering or lightning it just drizzling rain. Then she said or raining. The rain has to stop an hour before we will fill tanks. This younger generation thinks its made of sugar and will melt in water. These are the people that will be running our country in years to come. What a waste of oxygen.

I can get larger bags of dog and cat food, which is usually 44lb for cats and 52lb for dogs twice a month. I also get fine pine shavings, which I use for litter.
